Tian raised her arms above her head as she stood and stretched. She had gotten to their rendezvous point early to relax and save her energy for the trip. Next to her was a small backpack that held a couple of water bottles and some energy bars. She wasn't sure if Remarque would need it during the trip, but it was better safe than sorry. There was once she traveled with someone else, and they seemed tired after bringing her. If he didn't need it, she certainly might.
After their previous meeting, Tian had managed to finish all her currently assigned coursework as well as get a few chapters ahead of the classes. She couldn't control her future assignments and labs, so it was good enough to spare an evening. The sun was about to set so Tian sat down where she did before and watched. It was pretty relaxing to not think about anything else.
Tian had to admit, she was pretty excited to go back to her homeworld. This time, not alone and with someone who wanted to see it.
Soon, she could feel someone approaching. Tian turned around and stood up again, just in case it wasn't who she was looking for. She didn't know who else would make the trek here on this particular day and it would be quite unlucky. When she saw Remarque approach, she smiled and waved. "Just in time, I'd think! Ready for the trip up?"

Remarque had arrived precisely on time, as he liked to do, despite being particularly eager about meeting up with Tian. He had been looking forward to visiting her homeworld since she pitched the idea, and now that the time had come it was difficult to keep his calm facade.
He had arrived as Eternal Sailor Remarque; there was no point to show up in his Prince form. When he saw Tian wave, he mimicked the action and offered a smile of his own.
“More than ready. How did your studying go?” the asked, crossing the last bit of distance between the two of them.

"Pretty good, to be honest. I can't wait to be done and just start helping people. It's hard to wait. But it'll be worth it in the end." She looked at him and wondered why they were on different sides to this war. If they could be friends, why not everyone? Tian pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind. When she got her doctorate, it won't matter who she helps.
Tian picked up her bag and put it around her shoulders. Then, she took out her senshi phone and showed it briefly to Remarque. "I have some water and snacks in my bag, just in case one of us needs it. We're also traveling by cellphone today! I know it sounds weird, but it works." She laughed and took his hand. "Hold on tight, okay? I don't want to accidentally lose you in the midst. Should be easy enough though..."
She stared at her phone and put her thumb on the center button. Tian closed her eyes and concentrated. The memories of her homeworld rushed into her mind and she could feel the energy surging through her and to Remarque as well. It took a lot of energy and concentration, but she could feel it around her. Eventually, it felt different and she opened her eyes and felt the rush of energy escape her.
Everything felt heavy at once. She let go of Remarque's hand and let herself drop to her knees. "Sorry. That was my first time and I didn't know how much energy it would take. I can't imagine how I felt if I took another person..." Tian rummaged through her bag and took a bottle of water out and drank. She took another and offered it to Remarque. "Do you need any?"

They had landed at what looked like the main T-section of the city. The city was built around water canals, similar to that of the Venice on Earth. To the north, it looked to lead towards the city center and where the castle would be. The east and west street had buildings on the north side and the south side was clean-looking water (but so far, unknown if it's drinkable; unlikely).
Right at the cross section, there was what looked like a gate, but held no port for boats and no railing to protect people from falling in. If someone approaches, they can feel something keeping them back, but unknown to what it is. It's formerly a gate that linked the two binary stars - people could walk through the gate and end up at the other star and vice versa. Since the homeworld has degraded over time, it does not work beyond keeping people from falling into the water.Kyuseisha no Hikari (( Tell me if you have any questions/concerns x.x <3 I really need to type up everything about her homeworld >>;; ))

A dozen questions, easily, popped into his head as he considered how to proceed with the conversation, but Tian made it easy on him and cut right to the chase. Though, for a moment, he wondered what Raven would say if she caught him holding hands with any other Senshi, he still gripped Tian’s hand with strength enough that he knew he wouldn’t let go. He was gentle, though, as if afraid of accidentally hurting her.
He was fascinated by her phone and leaned over a bit, tilting his head so he could get a better view of everything she was doing. The rush of their teleportation was strange and left him oddly winded, but he managed to stay on his feet. Probably because Tian had actually done the work and his body was just adjusting to the change. It took him a second to realize that Tian had dropped his hands and fallen to her knees.
When she offered a drink, he shook his head, but crouched to be closer to her level. As much as he wanted to look around and appreciate the environment, he also wanted to make sure that his ride home wasn’t hurt.
“No, thank you. Are you all right?” he asked, giving her a quick look over.

Tian couldn't help but laugh a little. "Yeah, it's just tiring, I'm not dying or anything." She smiled before slowly standing up again and stretching. Her body was telling her she wasn't quite ready to walk yet, so she let herself adjust and drank more water. "It's like a good workout... Sort of! We are about... 440 light years away from earth now. It's pretty amazing what this little cellphone can do."
She wobbled towards the railing and looked out towards the water. "Welcome to my home world. In English, it's called Zeta Tauri and is a binary star visible to the naked eye from Earth. It's also part of the Taurus constellation." Tian paused, looking back at Remarque. "Sadly, that's all known information from Earth. Out here..." Tian motioned towards the water and buildings. "I can't say I know much about it."
"I have always wondered why I ended up with the Chinese name of the binary stars. I know it means 'Celestial Gate', but... Not sure if there's a reason why yet." Tian took a deep breath and she could feel... something tugging at her. She looked around until she saw the area that led to the water without railing. "Curious..., she thought to herself.
"What do you think of all this, Remarque?"

Remarque’s eyes immediately went to the phone when Tian mentioned it and he wondered just how it was responsible for getting them here. He listened intently as she shared what information she had recovered for Earth. His own search for information on Remarque had yielded little more than an author and a few books he’d written. He barely had any idea what that could mean for his homeworld, and it’s not like there was anything so special about it that Earth was looking into it.
When Tian began to speak about her homeworld, he looked around, trying to take in everything about it and compare it to what he’d seen on Earth and other Homeworlds. After a moment, he answer, “I think it’s amazing, to be honest. It’s just incredible that there are so many places out there. An infinite number of new worlds. It makes me wonder what happened to all of them--and why we all ended up on Earth.”

"Why we all ended up on Earth..." It was honestly an idea that Tian hadn't really thought about. Reason being, she still found herself to be very much human. At least, in her mind that was true. She grew up as a little girl on Earth with her parents. They gave her a full and loving life. It was hard to think of herself as some extra-terrestrial being.
Well, she definitely was one. Tian looked around at everything around her. It was real and tangible. She had been on other home worlds, whether by accident or not.
Tian tried her best to word her next words carefully, unsure of if Remarque would take offense or not. "Do you know anything about yours? I don't think you have access to it, correct? What do the Dark Mirror Court have instead?"
It couldn't help but seem a bit sad to Tian. Remarque was named for something in the sky like she was. They were on different 'sides', but ultimately the same past. Tian wasn't sure why, but felt like she would long for this place if she were blocked off from it. Did Remarque have that longing?Kyuseisha no Hikari (( Sorry I dropped the ball u.u;; <3 ))

Remarque shook his head; he did not seem dishonest about it and appeared to be a bit disheartened by the truth of it all. “Unfortunately, no. I wish I did, but all I know I have pieced together from others. Truthfully, it isn’t much. Yet,” he insisted; he seemed convinced that if he kept up with it for long enough, some information was bound to turn up.
“Unfortunately, I can’t just go, myself. It’s disheartening, but.” He wasn’t going to let himself get too broken up about all of it. “There’s not much else I can do. I suppose, if I put myself towards it, I could always purify. But then—is it worth it to lose one life, just to gain access to one from a millennia ago?”
He couldn’t justify leaving his mother behind—leaving his loved ones behind.
“I’m stuck here. For now, with nothing. The Dark Mirror Court has Mirrorspace, but,” he drew out the word as long as he could and then shrugged once more. “I can’t say that it really makes up for having your own world. Mirrorspace is a labyrinth of rooms and corridors. You never find the same one twice, unfortunately, so no matter how much you explore it, it doesn’t really ever feel like you’ve made any progress. At least, in my experience so far.”
But he wasn’t giving up; he’d find something.
He’d get his answers. One way or the other.

Tian flashed him a hopeful smile. "I really do hope you can learn what you can about it. I mean... It does seem a little unfair. It is still your home world after all." She understood that losing something was gaining another - it's not like white moon senshi could visit the mirror space willingly. From Remarque's description, it didn't seem that fun at all.
"Is it weird I don't think you should purify?" She motioned at everything on the star. "It's a wonderful place to see and have access to... But I couldn't give up my life for this place. My parents have raised me for over 20 years. I've only known this place a fraction of that."
She had to admit to herself though, now that she had her home world, Tian couldn't help but feel attached - she wouldn't be able to give up this place for a mirror space that seemed to want you to get lost...
"Hmm..." Tian didn't know too much about traveling through mirror space, but it seemed easy enough. "What if there was a mirror say... here? Could you travel to it? I mean, in theory?"
Tian walked up to an old store nearby. She peeked inside to see what looked like an old glass-working shop. It was empty minus a few pieces of work that somehow survived whatever happened here as well as many more shatter pieces on the floor. Unsure of why, part of her wanted to go in.

Remarque watched her for a moment before answering, “No.”
It didn’t sound as though he planned to expand on it first; he was reluctant to give out information that he didn’t have to, but Tian wasn’t exactly like most other Senshi. He took a few steps to follow her and her line of vision. “It’s too far,” he added. “And too dangerous, I suppose. If the mirror broke, we wouldn’t be able to return home. It would be a slow death, I imagine. Withering away, waiting for someone to come rescue you but not really knowing if they’d come in time? I’d rather avoid it.”
He turned just slightly, glancing at the landscape. “No matter how beautiful it was.”

"Hm... I guess that makes sense?" Well, it didn't really. She'd never be able to understand mirrorspace as well as those that can travel through them. "Admittedly, I've never been to mirrorspace and was slightly curious to what it looked like, but the potential of getting lost and stuck seems scarier than not. Tian laughed a little, sounding a bit nervous at the thought.
Tian walked to the door of the glass workshop and turned the knob. It was unlocked, although a bit hard to get open from all its time stayed shut. She opened it wide, as to invite Remarque in as well. The rest of the city seemed to be clean although empty. This place, however, had a layer of dust, probably left over from it's heydays. "It's kind of amazing and sad what things seem frozen in time here."
She walked in and gently touched one of the glass pieces that were still in tact. At first, it was nothing, but she picked it up and the room changed. It was brightly lit and there was a lady working on something by a fire. She had long blond hair, most of it pinned as an up-do. The rest were tied at the nape of her neck. The finished piece of the one that was in Tian's hand was sitting nearby. Whatever the lady was working on, she was highly focused and determined. Her movements were precise; whatever she was working on was important. There was some familiarity with the person's face, but Tian was unsure of why. Before Tian could see what she was working on, the memory faded again.
It caused a shiver to go down Tian's spine. She didn't know what it meant, but Tian wanted to find out. Tian realized that whatever happened must of seemed odd to Remarque. "Sorry. That was weird and something I can't really control. At least, not that I know of?"

“If you want to check out Mirrorspace some time, I’ll take you. You’ll be safe as long as you stick with me,” Remarque mused; it was a promise, of course; he wouldn’t let anything happen to her—no matter how dangerous Mirrorspace could be. He wasn’t going to squander the generosity she was showing him now; if she wanted to see the little piece of the world they had for themselves, it was the best he could do.
He followed after the Senshi, admiring everything her planet had to offer, though when she apologized he just blinked at her. “I’m not exactly sure what you’re talking about,” he finally said. “I didn’t see anything.”
And he had been paying attention; his eyes had been skimming the area, memorizing every little detail. He wasn’t surprised, of course; he’d learned a long while ago that Senshi planets were all unique—strange things were bound to happen, frequently. It took him only a second before he was asking, “Did you have a memory or something?”
He’d been with a few Senshi when they’d been hit with some imagine of the past; he couldn’t help but be fascinated by the ties they had to their world—the ties that transcended lifetimes. Naturally, he wanted to know what was so important they were remembering something that had happened to ‘another them’, in another time.

Tian was really tempted by his offer. She didn't know what was there and was genuinely interested in seeing it. "I might just take you up on that offer. No one else would try to kill me in there, right?" Tian said it jokingly with a smile, feeling that if Remarque were to bring her, people most likely wouldn't cross him anyways.
"Yes!" Tian was happy that Remarque knew of it and didn't really need to explain. "It seems like I saw a glimpse of when this vase was made. Its creator was in here making something else. Something more... Special?" Try as she might, Tian couldn't manage to bring the memory back into view. She wanted to start it up again - she wanted to know what was being made. "Kind of sad I didn't see what was being made... It just seemed important somehow."
She walked to another table with a bit of light hitting it from the outside. She brushed a bit of the dirt off the table and placed the vase down gently on it. Maybe it would give her more answers another time? Tian doubted it though.
"I've... never had a particular view against anyone Chaos aligned unless they were hurting people. There's always varying views on things. What does make me a bit sad is that they can't access their home worlds or wonders." She looked at him and grinned. "I'm really glad that there's people at least interested in seeing what a home world looks like.. even if it's not their own."Kyuseisha no Hikari (( Hurr~ Thinking of going into mirror space now after she transcends to see what happens? “No,” Remarque laughed, but truthfully he wasn’t sure. “You’ll be safe in Mirrorspace with me,” he promised—because, that much he knew to be true. Mirrorspace might be unpredictable, but he was confident in himself.
“We might not have our own homeworlds, but,” he shrugged. “Maybe we’ll find some way to reach them, one day. For now, the most important thing is to make sure we’re dealing with the Negaverse and have at least one safe place that they can’t reach. I’ll find out more about my homeworld. One way or the other.”
His eyes scanned the sky for a second, wondering if he was closer to or further away from his namesake than he was back on Earth.
A sigh fell from his lips and he glanced back at Tian. “Those memories can be a little draining. Do you want to head back home so you can process it?”ATh e a r t [[Remarque could take her to Mirrorspace! We can talk about details on Discord! "Well, since you don't have access to yours yet, you can always ask me to come here?" The place was a bit dirty and desolate, but Tian would find a way to change that. "I love the fact that you wanted to come here to experience this."
The memory was strange to her. It was a bit tiring, but the elevated feelings she got when seeing it kind of made it seem like nothing. "I think I'd like that, if you're ready to go?" Tian took his hand and led him outside. "Thank you for coming with me today."
She thought of home and the spot they had left from. Tian couldn't wait to bring Remarque and possibly others to visit her homeworld. Chaos or order, everyone should have the chance to experience it.
