When Emerald was first created she was a cold ruthless soldier devoted to her Diamond and her position. However after meeting one of Pink Diamond's Sapphires, that had joined Rose Quartz's rebellion, and falling in love the cold ruthless soldier melted away becoming the warmer kinder gem she is today. Emerald and Sapphire were inseparable fusing as Jade.
Jade has the more carefree fun loving nature of Sapphire mixed with Emerald's strong sense of justice and duty.

Abilities (if applicable):
Jade can manipulate energy, though she has only used this ability to heal as Emerald its applications may be used for countless other aspects. Currently it takes her a bit of concentration to do more than heal wounds or small manipulation as Emerald was made to be a battle medic.
Future Sight as Jade is made of part Sapphire she has the Sapphire ability to see the future
Jade also has the standard gem abilities such as shape changing, weapon summoning, bubbling, and fusion

Bio/History:
Emerald's story really begins when she was sent to Earth, before that she was little more than a mindless soldier. On Earth she fought the rebellion for months before she came up against her, Sapphire. Unlike the others she fought this Sapphire did not seem to mean her harm yet her duel swords were like lightning. Emerald and Sapphire fought for hours until both collapsed on the beach unable to keep going but neither having taken enough damgae to lose their form. Suddenly Sapphire burst into laughter which really surprised Emerald, if an ally from ether side came they would be powerless to defend themselves how could she laugh. "What is so funny rebel?" Emerald finally asked after a few minutes her curiosity had gotten the best of her. "Oh its just despite fighting so hard we both ended up here far from where we began, so until we can move no one will find us. But hey at least we fell on our backs and can watch the stars."
Sapphire spoke so carefree and cheerful, it was like not even the possibility of death fazed her. Unsure how to respond Emerald for the first time in her life took a break and looked up at the sky. It was so peaceful, it just went on forever; how much time passed its hard to say but at some point she found her body still feeling heavy while staring up at her opponent. Having already recovered enough to move Sapphire looked down at Emerald, the latter sure she was about to die, but instead the Azure gem just sat down and began to talk to Emerald. The two ended up talking all night well past the time Emerald could move.
That battle changed Emerald, after that the two became nearly inseparable; they spent much of their time as Jade a fusion. To keep from having Emerald hunted as a traitor the two would only fight as Jade going into battle fused. However seeing so many gems becoming corrupted Jade couldn't help but want to learn why. She knew it had something to do with the gem's energy but nothing on earth made a possible catalysts. That only left one place to look for answers, Homeworld.
