Liryn had only meant to spend a little while up at HQ, when he had popped in earlier on, but whilst there he had ended up coming across some notes from his earlier attempts at making an app project and hadn't been able to resist pulling up a project that for one reason or another had ended up becoming temporarily stalled.
A little while had somehow ended up becoming a long while and when eventually he had decided to finish up for the day, late afternoon had ended shifting into early evening.
His mind was still on his little app project as he padded absently down the mainly empty sidewalk and primarily on actually resurrecting the project that he had neglected for far too long.
At some point however he sensed the prickle of aura, the aura strong enough to pull him from thoughts of the tweaks that he could make to the project.
It felt close-ish, but not in immediate vicinity close and it felt warm and strong but not the almost blaze that was eternal strong.
Liryn's paws stilled as he came to a pause as for a moment he pondered whether to try and track the aura's source down.xNuxaz Sorry for the delay in starting this Nux. Hope it works - but lmk if I need to change anything 3nodding

She was supposed to meet up with someone before she went out on a patrol.
Unfortunately there was too much happening in the lives of the people around her for Denebola to even think about asking for one of them to come with her. She didn't think it would matter much in the end, because she was a super senshi and had been one for most of her senshi-career.
The ginger was sure she could take care of herself, at least enough to call for help if she had to.
So, she went out on her own like she did more than she let the others know. It seemed like it was a quiet night with no distinguishable auras in the vicinity which was nice and worrisome at the same time. She couldn't help but wonder if the Negaverse was busy formulating a plan for retaliation.
Denebola tried to keep those kinds of thoughts out of her head as she walked along the streets, the sound of her wedges soft. It wasn't until she passed beneath a particularly bright street lamp that she stopped, taking a moment to adjust her stockings when she caught a sliver of movement out of the corner of her eye.
She turned sharply and only visibly relaxed when she realized it was just a cat. "Oh, you scared me," she muttered, more to herself than to the feline, with her hand pressed against her breastbone. She hadn't noticed the star yet.litian you're good, this is perfect!

The sound of the nearby voice had Liryn turning almost automatically, his head tilting upwards to reveal purplish eyes and the jade green star set upon his forehead.
It seemed that the source of the aura had been closer than he'd initially thought - well at least that is if the nearby super senshi was the source.
Either way it saved him from a decision on whether to try and track down the aura and as the other was a senshi it meant that he didn't have to play cat-cat.
It was with that thought in mind that had him calling out a cheerful "Good evening" as he padded across the short distance separating them.

She hadn't expected the cat to start talking, which, was silly on her part but her brow arched in surprise as she was greeted. Of course she'd run into a guardian cat. It shouldn't have been surprising at all considering the number of senshi that populated the city, there had to be more than a handful of cats or they'd be perpetually exhausted.
Or, at least, Denebola assumed they would be. She didn't actually know how guardian cats worked except for the fact that they popped out henshi pens and upgraded them and the magical phones every senshi seemed to have.
"Hello," she replied, a practice polite smile spreading across her lips. She hadn't spoken with a cat personally since Arthur. "Nice night don't you think?"

It hadn't been Liryn's intention to startle, although the super senshi's reaction to his greeting suggested that perhaps he may have.
He paused for a moment, but resumed his padding towards the - to him - unfamiliar senshi as the arched brow was replaced by a smile, taking the smile as invitation.
"It is" he agreed cheerfully. "Kind of quiet, although quiet isn't necessarily bad."
He paused near her feet, purplish eyes curious as he continued "Are you out on patrol? Would you mind some company?"
Because while most senshi he encountered tended to be out on the patrol beat, it necessarily always the case...
And they didn't always necessarily want company.

"Quiet is nice," she agreed, forcing herself to keep from thinking about how it could be dangerous at the same time. Sometimes quiet meant peace and sometimes it meant that they were simply planning.
"Oh, that'd be lovely." She admitted, smiling a little more warmly at the guardian cat than she had prior. She much preferred to patrol with a partner and while she didn't have the highest opinion of guardian cats as a whole, mostly because she kept hearing about those pesky ones that woke senshi then ran, she had no qualms about maybe trying to see things from a different view.
"My name is Sailor Denebola," she offered, stepping forward slowly, waiting for him to walk along side her. litian sorry about the delay on this one, her muse is my most finicky!

The super senshi's smile prompted a wide feline grin in answer "Great" Liryn said cheerfully, because whilst he would have respected the super senshi's wishes if she had declined, he happened to much prefer patrolling with company...
And not just because it was much safer for two than it was for one.
He padded over so that he could fall into step with her as he continued "And it's nice to meet you Denebola, I'm Liryn."Nuxaz Apologies for the delay on tagging back Nux - work is being kind of crazy busy lately so whilst I have been trying to at least tag orp tags, my tags on other things have been slow

Despite being a senshi for at least five years and welcoming a guardian cat to say with her as needed, Denebola had never actually patrolled with one. It was a strange though because she was aware that some were bonded to senshi, she didn't understand how the bond itself worked.
Liryn seemed pleasant, perhaps she could learn some things.
"You know, my experience with cats has been rather limited," she started slowly, gloved fingers picking at the hem of her skirt as they walked. "I knew of Zirconia and a cat called Ophelia. She'd been the one to give me a power boost." The fair colored cat had come to her aid in time to save Vulcan's life.
"There was the cat that awakened me. Do they normally run off like that, with just little blurbs, drop off a pen, and then split?" There was no accusation in her voice, no harsh tones but mere curiosity.litian my apologies in my own slowness

Out of the two names mentioned, one was somewhat familiar, the name Zirconia conjuring up memories of a mauvian with purplish fur and an unfamiliar aura.
"I've met Zirconia" Liryn admitted, because the unusual aura had been hard to forget. "Although only the once - she was looking for shards at the time."
The name, Ophelia, however was one that was unfamiliar to the small tabby bobtail - although that was not to say that they hadn't crossed paths indirectly since Liryn had come across quite a few mauvians when Ash and Snowball had called them there re. the cat communicator...
Denebola's question cut across his internal musings, a slight huff of annoyance slipping into his voice, although it was directed at the unknown cat rather than the senshi "I don't know" he admitted "But they shouldn't" because a mauvian's duty was to protect and you had to be there in order to do so.
"I don't personally" even if it meant calling Athene up in order to get the eternal to help him to explain stuff.Nuxaz I'm really sorry that this has taken me so long, am aiming to tag the other rp and the orp later today too

The senshi shot the cat a questioning look but decided that perhaps it wasn't worth trying to dig too deep into that mystery. It had been so long since she had seen or heard anything from Zirconia that perhaps it was a mystery left unsolved. If she continually hunted ghosts from her past, then perhaps she would never be able to move forward.
And she would much rather focus on the future.
"Perhaps that should be reiterated to the others then," Denebola mused, though she didn't blame Liryn, who seemed pleasant and willing to work with her. Not all cats were bad surely, but sometimes the woman wondered if the disorganization and chaos that came with order was in part due to the guardian cats who woke senshi and left them gasping for air like a fish out of water.
"Have you awoken many, Liryn?" She asked.

"It probably should" Liryn agreed and for a moment his cheerful voice was serious. "We have our duty too and we can't do it if we're not there and we're easier to get hold off now that we have our own communicators and don't have to depend on being contacted via senshi phone..." He thought about it and added "At least those of us who were at the communication meeting are easier to contact."
And whilst he wouldn't be able to say when he had first become aware of the duty to protect - it was something that was linked to when he had first become aware of himself - of the fact that he was more than just a simple stray and rather Liryn - mauvian.
"And I have awakened 8 senshi" he said. "Which is perhaps not as many as some of the others, but is still a good few."

"We're not very good at communicating are we?" Denebola mused, glancing from her feline companion to the road ahead of them. It was a quite night still, for which the super was grateful for, and Liryn provided pleasant company.
She thought that more nights ought to be like this.
"You know, I was unaware that you have proper tools for communication now. I'll be honest," she paused to offer him a smile. "I don't have as many contacts as I would like among our people." Even if others didn't view the White Moon as a team, she believed that one day they'd come together.
"Which is unfortunate, because it hinders my ability to help those that need it." She thought of Vespa, whom she wanted to aid but couldn't. "Eight's very impressive. I bet you left them in capable hands."

"We could be better" Liryn agreed, because whilst he did his best to be contactable, he was aware that communication was something that Order as a collective whole wasn't particularly good at.
"But yes some of us mauvians have communicators now - Ash and Snowball called a meeting about a year or so back and those of us who came worked on them there."
Well at least some of them had worked on it.
He gave Denebola another feline grin as he continued cheerfully "And I'm always happy to be scanned into people's contacts" Liryn said cheerfully "Because I like getting calls."
Actually he really liked getting calls. "I am also happy to help other mauvians make their own communicator" because having a communicator made things so much easier.
"And I'm always happy to help my senshi" he continued - because whilst they weren't his in the same way that Athene was - Liryn considered all senshi that he had a hand in awakening as at the very least in part his - just as he considered it as his duty to protect senshi to the best of his abilities.Nuxaz apologies that this took me so long Nux

Denebola hummed, admittedly pleased that Liryn had agreed with her.
Talking with him certainly put a new, and positive, perspective on guardian cats for the super senshi. She felt more comfortable about the new senshi being awoken across the city if they were in the capable paws of cats like him. "I'm unfamiliar with those names, but I'll have to keep my ears out to see if anyone I know knows them." Though, she wasn't going to be surprised if they didn't.
Really, she ought to start expanding her circle so that her ability to network was greater.
"You know, I'd love that, actually." She fished her semi-updated phone out and then frowned at it. "I - actually have no idea how to scan someone into my contacts." Denebola didn't seem embarrassed by the admission though.
In her opinion, it was just another reflection on how the cat who had awoken her had abandoned her with little to no information. "So, if you don't mind teaching me..."

"I think that Ash's name might be linked into the senshi primer somewhere" Liryn said, although it had been a while since he'd done more than skim read through the primer and so he wasn't sure for certain. "But I'd be happy to set you up with a meeting with her and/ or Snowball too if you want to talk to them."
He added cheerfully "Ash is really, really good with technology - she came up with the smartphone upgrade for the senshi phones which is so much better than the basic model" he thought about and added "Well Ash and ********* both came up with it, although Ash taught me what to do too."
And yes he was a little biased when it came to the smartphone model but - to Liryn's way of thinking it was understandable given the smartphone version was so much better than the basic model of senshi phones - and so much more helpful.
"And of course" he continued at Denebola's request "I'd be happy to, you need to aim your phone like taking a photo" he padded closer "I'll show you."Nuxaz apologies for taking forever with this Nux
