The pink Geist was usually incredibly clueless when it came to flirting and relationships. In fact, she had never had a significant other before. But the more time she spent with Ghester, the more she was pretty sure he wanted to be more than just friends. And boy was she ten kinds of okay with that! She giggled to herself and rolled onto her side, grabbing one of her many plushies to hug close as she yawned.
The camping trip had taken longer than she had expected it would and given the events in the forest she was pretty sure that no one else had expected anything like that to happen. Yeah, she really hoped that getting trapped, even temporarily, in a hidden forest village was not on anyone's itinerary. Thinking about the Kumiho being trapped of their own accord in the forest made the bubbly Geist feel sad. She couldn't imagine being part of something like that, hiding away from the rest of the world.
But on the other hand, she kind of understood their decision. They had wanted to keep their people safe from the war. Which is totally fine, but she would have thought that they might have gotten curious after a while. Did none of them wonder about the world outside their forest? Did they not want to know what had happened after the war was over? Didn't they want to know about the people on the outside?
Big tears formed in her eyes and she sniffled, pressing her face into her plush vespercat. She felt so bad for the Kumiho. They were missing so much much out here, and if the Elders stuck to their decision to stay in the forest she was sure that the entire race would disappear and no one would ever know they had even existed.
It was this thought that had broken the dam and Bibiana burst into sobs. Quiet noises made by her familiars were drowned out by her crying but she felt all of them as they cuddled around her to comfort her. "Oh my babies," she murmured and switched her plush vespercat out for the real one, cuddling the purring Baby close. She couldn't even tell her animal friends about the reason for one of her rare sad episodes because of that spell the Elders had put on all of them.
She hoped, as she calmed down with the help of her familiars, that the Kumiho would decide to come out of their forest.
