Kotensa at first impression is often noted as being kind. She is in fact nice to those she's only just met, and will often put upon a facade as she doesn't like seeing people upset. Those who actually know more about Ko know she is still kind behind closed doors, but she's also a bit of a prankster and jokester. her humor has somewhat aged along with her meaning she does often make lewd or dark jokes in favor of 'Why did the Chicken cross the road' kind of jokes. Her bar buddies know if she doesn't find a joke funny it wasn't a funny joke to begin with. Kotensa's kind nature and humor make her a perfect companion to little ones. She quickly becomes like a mother or very big sister to many people, children and young Pokemon alike because of her personality. She'd have it no other way.






◈||xxxxx Biography -



At a young age, Kotensa's biological parents were in a horrid accident which left the then four year-old an orphan. She was thankfully adopted rather quickly by a young couple who'd only recently moved to Sunnyshore City in the region of Shinnoh. They raised the little odd-eyed daughter as if she were their own, and for the next six years Kotensa's life was a happy one. To bad it was all an illusion.

At ten years old, Kotensa set off on a journey as many children that age were wont to do. Her father gifted her a present of a young Buizel, who would become her greatest companion throughout her journey. The young girl met many Pokemon and people along her path, and even got so far as her 3rd badge before deciding to stop back at home for a visit. However, on her way south of Veilstone a furious storm whipped up. It was nothing short of a Hurricane and it happened so suddenly the little trainer had no time to seek shelter and thus was caught up in the middle of the wicked winds. To her loss, she and her team were separated and in the wake of the storm, her starter was later found dead. Devastated by this Kotensa returned home as was her plan to begin with, but instead of returning on her journey she opted to stay home... finding herself unfit to be a trainer. Kotensa's mother decided it would be in the best interest of the young girl to go live with her grandmother in Hearthome, which Kotensa reluctantly agreed to.

Hearthome indeed was perhaps the best choice for the young girl. Her grandmother was sweet and understanding, and gave Kotensa all she needed to get over the death of her companion. Sadly she was adamant about not continuing her journey, retiring from Pokemon training for what was likely to be forever. She couldn't keep herself away from Pokemon entirely however, and eventually her journey lead her to being a Kindergarten teacher. How she loved her children greatly. Her students, rather smart for five-year olds eventually convinced their young teacher to give being a trainer one more chance. Following the passing of her grandmother, Kotensa decided perhaps she should give it another go. She was older, wiser... and not as naive.

The kind happy couple that had adopted Kotensa were in fact the very reason she became an orphan in the first place. Her would-be adoptive father, Jerome Adam Tevenwood is a high-ranking scientist within the company 'Lunar Corp Industry'. Lunar Corp, is a company focusing on giving customers the illusion of a better life or experience they would wish to have, by use of Zorua and Zoroark's Illusion abilities. However, their true motives are to find a way to make Illusions completely undetectable and thus create a way of enslaving people without their knowing of being slaves. These experiments were to be conducted upon Kotensa, a young candidate with an already vivid imagination. Her parents were fooled into signing up their daughter, unknowingly signing her up to be Lunar Corp's very property. When they became privy to this fact, they quickly wanted to withdraw their daughter from the program, but instead found themselves the unfortunate victims of a car accident.

Adopted by Jerome and his wife, Kotensa's life was set in a small warehouse-sized room, though with the power of illusions she believed she was in the city of Sunnyshore. Everything from birthdays with family and the friends she made in school were all illusions. The scientist couldn't of been more happy with their results. But then they wanted to test it even more, but sending the girl out onto the field with the illusions at her side. Her starter Pokemon, a Buizel was in fact an illusion. Through manipulation and bribery Kotensa's journey was at best a success... however, it all came to a crashing halt when Lunar Corp's funding of the experiment was cut off. They ended the experiments on Kotensa and quickly covered up the loss of her starter with a real dead body of a Floatzel.

Kotensa's 'parents' then sent her to live with her real blood grandmother, citing the woman never reveal the truth or they'd take Kotensa back. From then on, Kotensa's life was real and far more vivid. The young girl grew up then after, eventually hearing about an internal investigation of Lunar Corp's inner workings... and about her faithful companion. Lunar Corp was in the news day in and day out, for several weeks before finally it seemed all news about them ended after a new CEO took over.

For several years Lunar Corp laid dormant, until the faithful day they found a new investor, who wanted the experiments to continue in full force. Not only was Kotensa a lead target... but neigh, they want now to use all of Shinnoh as their test subjects. Kotensa however, has become the interest of a certain pokemon, who has a way of giving light to the truth of a nightmare; Cresselia. Though the legend hasn't revealed itself onto Kotensa it is diligently watching her from afar.
