She found the small beast near the village and while she didn't think it was a big threat she didn't want it to attack any of the other beasts that were familiars. So Phaedra used her trident to hopefully scare it off, prodding toward the perzi and yelling at it to go away. At first it seemed to work, the animal was backing away from her and the pointy end of her weapon, then it started to growl and hold it's ground. The brunette paused to look at it with a somewhat worried expression. She didn't want to hurt it, or at least not make it bleed, so she was unsure of what to do when it advanced.

As it growled a bit louder and swiped at her trident with it's claws she took a step back. Phae was worried about causing the poor thing any real harm so she twirled her weapon around and did her best to shoo it away with the blunt end of her trident. "Go on. Go away little guy." When all it did was attack the stick she frowned at it and finally decided to give it a solid thunk on the head. "Stop that. I'm trying to keep everyone safe now. You can't attack the other animals and I don't want someone to hurt you. So.. shoo. Go on, shoo." Not that she expected the beast to really listen to her.

The thump to the head made the perzi attack even more and this time it came at her foot. With a shriek Phae kicked, a natural reaction more than anything, and sent the poor beast flying some feet away. She went wide eyed and stood there looking at the little thing with a worried expression. "Oh. Oh no. Please don't be too hurt."

Worried that she might have actually damaged the perzi she slowly approached it. Phaedra figured that if it was hurt due to her rough handling then she would take it in and make it better. Wild or not it was still a creature. The only time she was really able to kill a beast is when she was hunting and that was for survival. Not sport.

Pressing her lips together she took another step closer and leaned to the side to inspect the general well being of the beast. "Yoo hooo.. get up." Came her response. Then once she was close enough she started to bend down to get a closer look. It was like the beast expected this because when she was within reach it popped up, hissing and growling, spitting everywhere, then took off running. The reaction that it had made Phae jump back with a startled expression. "Ah!" With her free hand going to her chest she watched the animal run away like an animal possessed. "Sweet spirits.." With a small huff she shook her head and moved away from the area slowly. She hoped she wouldn't come across another beast, she wasn't sure she'd be able to harm it even if it was hostile.
