Her recent promotion to captain was met with some uncertainty. Sure, Sarabauite felt stronger, and the pointy slab of metal she started off with was now... an even longer pointy slab of metal. But she felt undeserving of the role—guilty even. Wouldn't it have been better to pick someone who had the courage to wield such power?
In an attempt to push such thoughts to the wayside (and prevent herself from lowering what was already a dried puddle of self-esteem), Sarabauite passed the night collecting energy and mugging any unfortunate soul who happened to cross her path. Sitting on the edge of a building as she counted through the bills recently filched from a college student, the captain frowned at the amount.
"I'm still thirty dollars short," she huffed. "This'll cover rent, but food? Clothes? Video games?" A sigh. "I should start going after rich people again..."

Sinistra found a few people dazed and missing their wallets, and opted to follow the trail until she felt what she decided was the aura responsible. Stealing from people?! And not just taking their energy, but their money as well!
The Negaverse was just getting more devious!
Bouncing up to the roof top, the newly minted Super Senshi landed a little awkwardly, still getting used to her new power and outfit. It was not too much different, in the scheme of things, but she was so used to what she had before that any change was disorienting.
"I finally caught up to you! In the name of Sinistra, I will stop you! From... from stealing any more money! And energy! And... whatever else you might be stealing!"
She was still working on her battle cries. Merlinite said it was important to be intimidating and to show she meant business, but she was a very... gentle flower, and was not the best at making threats or being witty. Merlinite did his best to teach her, but he got the feeling he may have hurt her feelings once or twice, just giving her examples of quips she could say.

"W-wah!"
Come the proclamation from the senshi, Sarabauite squawked out a note that caused her entire body to jump. Unfortunately, come that sudden jerk, her weapon, which was sitting on her lap, nearly bounced off. At odds with the in money her hand, the captain reacted first to her tasseled jitte; letting the stolen funds slip from her fingers and be taken by the air. Sarabauite nearly cried then and there.
"My... My money..." she whined, before her brow furrowed. Pounding a fist to the roof edge, Sarabauite stood, and glared at the senshi. Her signature blared bright against the darkness of her own, embittering her deeply.
"You jerk! I was gonna use that to buy Sun and Moon!" Sarabauite cried, jabbing her weapon in the senshi's direction. "Now I'll... Now I'll never afford the reserve!"
"You're gonna pay! With, uh, not money, but your life! Your life!"
Suddenly, Sarabauite took a running charge at the senshi and swiped at her.

Sinistra almost wanted to apologize. If this were any other situation, it would have been such a terrible thing for her to have startled someone badly enough that they actually dropped, and lost, some hard earned money. Of course, that was money that had been hard earned by someone else, and this Negaverse soldier had no right to it!
She had remind herself of that, though an apologetic look still managed to find its way to her face.
The Super Sailor had not come up against a Captain yet, not since powering up. Without her usual friends there to help her, or Merlinite anywhere around to be found just in case things went bad, she felt out of her depth despite being apparently on level enough footing with this nega. There was always the chance that this was a very skilled fighter, and she was about to get her butt handed to her.
Oh, God.
"Oh yeah?" She tried to prepare a witty retort to the threat, but Sarabauite running at her made that very difficult. "Yipes! Sonic Broom!!!"
She called her magic in immediate defense of herself, a broom made of light and energy appearing in her hands. It was of a modern design, rather than the typical, witch-riding type of her first stage attack. Other than that, she could not see anything different in it. She moved to make a sweeping motion with her arms, aiming the resulting gust of air at Sarabauite.
