Captain Hildr
Name: Queen Hildr / Captain Hildr
Nickname/Alias: Brynhildr (Her full name) / Hilda (Her birth name)

Personality in 3 Words: Very short temper
Short Backstory: The past she allows people to know: She originally dressed as a man, serving as crew on many ships. When she had finally made a name for herself, she revealed herself as a woman and became infamous in her own right. Because she was disguised in her youth and traveled on so many ships, many of her outlandish stories cannot be verified. The past she does not share: She was the daughter of poor fish merchants, and was very unhappy with her situation. One day when she was 15, she took it upon herself to dress as a young man and stowaway on a ship. At this point her history more or less matches up to the past she shares.
Miscellaneous: Scandinavian ancestry, claims to be descended from Vikings and Valkyrie. Makes up elaborate tales about her past, and gets very angry when people question them. The name her parents gave her was Hilda, but she decided to take the actual name of the mythological figure she was named after. She has a raven named Muninn, and wears an eyepatch but is not blind in that eye, she is just scarred and vain. She only takes off the eyepatch when fighting.

Short Backstory: Zeva came from an upperclass family. But she was tired of her lifestyle. She and her siblings were only allowed to do as they were told, and she longed for more. Whenever she got the chance she would find ways to learn both sword fighting and hand to hand combat. Around age 17, she decided to leave home and find the adventure she always wanted. The girl dressed as a boy and snuck onto a ship, only to be discovered and outed quickly. Zeva argued that she would be an asset to the ship, and with the infamous lady captain she hoped they would take pity on her. Luckily for her, she was given a chance and since proving herself able was allowed to remain as part of the crew. She has sailed with them ever since.

Short Backstory: Irkalla spent most of his early life peacefully under the waves, but soon found it to be a little too peaceful for his liking. He revels in the excitement his new job brings, as she often sends him to mess with humans that venture near her home.

Short Backstory: Skwid is your average teenage Squidkid. Swimming, jamming, and general bs-ing are her daily activities. She'd been 18 for a while, but she had no idea how long, since her kind stopped aging at 18, and they were too carefree to keep track of time.
One day, when visiting the port closest to her colony, she noticed a dope pirate ship all anchored up. She strolled up to it to see what the biz was, and noticed that there were some pretty mean-looking peeps. Intimidated by their rugged appearances, she decided to keep back and watch their happenings from afar. She knew these pirates were doing some mad exploring, and she was ready for an adventure. But she also didn't want to die, so distance was key.
After a month or so of tailing the crew, they had stopped at one particular town to gather supplies, and Skwid decided to head in and eat. While enjoying a dank seaweed salad (see what I did there), the chair beside her moved and down sat the captain of the ship. The captain acknowledged Skwid's hella stealthy skills, and invited her to come aboard. She decided that she needed some spice in her life, and she had an inkling (again, the puns) that this could provide that very spice.
Miscellaneous: Skwid has the ability to stealthily follow people when near water. She can jump in and blend with her surroundings, causing her to be invisible to the untrained eye. She has great hand-to-hand combat skills, and she can also control the tentacles hanging from her head. She has a speech impediment that only comes out when she is nervous.

Pronouns: Androgyny but definitely Male thus He/him or He/She
Personality in 3 Words: Playful, Loyal, Mischievous.
Short Backstory: Unknown to everyone and society who he truly is, he goes by Enigma, for unknown history. Though also goes by Ghost Fox due to his appearance that look like ghost ninja-ish fox person; though, seeing Ghost Fox, his appearance is really androgyny can't tell if female or male all the time. Everyone, even get confirm by him, that he was bit by experimented radiated run away arctic fox thus became bit fox like appearance, ability of it and speak to foxes and canine after the incident. However, became superheroes after incident but also became a thief once in while when both heroes and enemy aren't looking for thrill, fun and wanting that item of whomever it is.
Miscellaneous: Has fox like personality(Sneaky, deceiving and etcs). He can be either Ally or enemy cuz truly more into neutral.

Short Backstory: Lyre is of British descent. She absolutely loves reading, and even during an apocalypse, her first thought was to save her books. She carries them along with her on her treks in a rolling suitcase. She is extremely polite and always rather professional in her demeanor. Her parents were both professors of English at the University, and thus gifted her her love of reading. Lyre graduated top of her class in Primary and Secondary school, and was on the fast track to doing the very same in university. Unfortunately, this didn't leave her with too many "real world" skills, so she's a bit odd when talking or, god forbid, walking. Lyre's clumsy to the point it's scary.
Miscellaneous: Lyre is a novelist, and will occasionally sit and write if she has a bit of spare time. She always wears dresses/skirts, though she doesn't seem bothered by the cold. Lyre is a strong swimmer, and is decent at navigating by the sun and stars.

Short Backstory: As the youngest of seven children, Abel grew up sliiiightly spoiled. Raised to believe he could become anything he'd like when he grew older, he became determined to become a paper bag. Alas, his dreams were shattered by his second oldest brother, Cain (who'd sailed off in a boat the day after), and Abel swore 'vengeance'. Through dedication and persistence, he proved his worth to the captain with his nifty throwing skills, and landed himself a position on the crew, aiming to travel the world!
Miscellaneous: Abe talks to himself quite a bit, directing his words to his hand-puppets. He looks almost exactly like his dad, and takes proud in his height of 6'2 (taller than all of his siblings).

Short Backstory: Jer has lived a life on the streets. Abandoned by his parents at an orphanage, he spent as much time away from it as possible, leading to him developing a few less-than-savory skills in doing so. However, he heard about the call for a pirate crew and the idea tempted him into joining up. However, misfortune befell the ship, and they ended up shipwrecked on what seemed to be an icy island. Now stranded, Jer has been hoping to get off this frozen lump of land to get back to warmer climes.
Miscellaneous: Jer has a bit of a larcenous streak, and has taken up skills with sleight of hand and lying, perfecting them to an art. He is also quite gifted with knives of any sort, and has no problem with utilizing them to full effect.

Short Backstory: Hex hasn't had the best luck in the world. Her life up until around age thirteen was pretty average, and then suddenly it seemed like one bad thing after another. When the global warming epidemic hit, she essentially chalked it up to her own bad luck (never mind that there were billions of other people on the globe). Not being a particularly trusting person, she ended up joining up with a pirate crew, feeling more at home with a pack of ruthless thieves and liars than she would've with other, more supposedly upstanding people. She kept to herself, and made a reputation as someone you didn't want to impose your presence on without her explicit permission. When her ship wrecked on what was literally the last hunk of ice left on the entire planet (again, her own bad luck, she's a Texas girl and can't stand the cold), she was quick to steal the jacket off a dead man (he'd been a jerk anyway) and set about trying to find a way off the miserable island.
Miscellaneous: Hex's father used to take her hunting and fishing as a bonding experience. She knows her way around survival and weapons, and won't hesitate to use that knowledge if someone forces her to. It should be noted that sometimes she will define being exceptionally annoying as 'being forced to'.

Short Backstory: Being a girl in science was always a difficulty for Tabitha. Guys would always tell her to stay out of the lab and make jokes about how she only belonged in the kitchen. Truthfully, that became her motivation for a lot of things. She studied hard, worked hard, and did whatever it took for her to get to the top. Now, she's getting ready to put the finishing touches on her project to show all her haters exactly what a girl could do. Miscellaneous: Only a select few can call her Tabby. Those who dare attempt it without her blessing end up the subject of one of her secret weapons tests. She prefers Dr. Noire. She didn't work hard for nothing. Short Backstory:not so short, TBE
The Con grew up in a typical middle class family, and all was well...until she started seeing that darkness in the world. She was a quiet type who sat back and watched the world pass on by but that only made her see things clearly. While everyone else was oblivious to truth, she saw what was happening in the world. There was a darkness behind every story, behind every emotion, and every truth they were told. So when the wars started breaking out during her teenage years, it only made the black hole in her heart grow bigger. The worries she shared became harsher and harsher truths to the point where no one would bother listening. She started to tear away from her high life, and happy family to be alone, because when she's alone no one could oppress her. She moved to the big city and had small secret jobs in the government. Eventually those jobs couldn't keep her distracted long enough. It made her realize that the closer to the truth she wanted to be, the father she got. She left the government and had private jobs to pay the bills which typically meant assassinations. It wasn't hard for her to kill, and she got payed a lot of money for it too, she had nothing to lose except her name. She's a hero to the truth, a villain to the authority. She doesn't belong to any place, or any one. That's why The Con's so dangerous, because she can kill you by turning you against yourself.
Can you please just double check that your character bio is complete? They're being posted into the subforum WIP now and I need them complete. If you don't get back to me in time your character's name will just be '???', just so you know.
