Bio: Herod, the first born son to the King. His birth, known as a mistake to some, and a blessing to others. From the birth of this man, he was in the care of his mother, the Third in the chain of command for the Royal Guard. Her eyes burned with a passion for serving, and her blade was always steeled for combat. Even in her war cry, the dragon blood in her caused an uproar. Though her unwillingness to lead men set her back within the kingdoms guard position. Though, when ensnared by the Charisma of the king himself, she surcame to the his lust. The boy was a child of full blood. Unlike the one's to come after. He walked the way of the knight, and scholar, away from his mother and father's care. Though, his butler and wetnurse cared for him well, raising him as parents would. By the age of 13, he was at the level of education that some of the leading tacticians were, making his father's eyes brighten, and his favor follow. The first meal he shared with his father, was at age 15, before the maiden battle for his son. He remembered this well. The roast was delicious, and the vegetables were plenty. His father put his trust into him as he handed the boy a helm. That battle, he proved to his father, he was fit to be within the ranks.
Growing up, he spent much of his time, with either siblings, or animals. Not much interaction outside of the castle, unless mandated. Though he was a civil and caring man. The peers saw he was a bit lazy with the power he had. The young man rarely saw his mother, as she continued her works as a guard, until she retired early. Though he enjoyed the time with his mother more than with his father. Cherishing every moment, even if it was just a pass by through the castle halls. His mother writes to him from a farther village where she was birthed, hoping he would return to her when he was king, or visit when free. He plans to. The young man plans to do so much, though being king doesn't fit into his scheme it seems.
