 Allium looked around, he had been seeing Hemlock off and on for a few weeks and he thought that Hemlock really cared about him, maybe he did. Allium was in a strange point in his life, Evergreen had moved on with his life and Aloe didn't want to imbue kids with him anymore because it was just too much after everything that had happened. They were all still friends, but it just wasn't the same anymore. Perhaps they were drifting apart. Allium sighed looking at the garden they had planted together and the pictures of their kids. Allium wanted to have other kids he didn't want to stop his life, maybe he was in a dark place. Perhaps kids would lighten the darkness in his heart. Help love to grow and help him heal, maybe it was a stupid reason to have kids, maybe he shouldn't trust Hemlock after only knowing him for a short time. Allium still picked up the phone to call Hemlock to talk about imbuing stones together.

 Hemlock had just finished up with his latest concoction. It was a failure but he didn't like to admit that he couldn't do something. He sighed, upset over the wasted materials but at least it wasn't for a customer. His thoughts lead him to Allium who was keeping him preoccupied with his dull life. He visited regularly with kind words but didn't lay it on thick. He didn't want to overstay his welcome. The sound of his phone ringing snapped him from his thoughts. He smiled, realizing that it was the person he was just thinking about on the line. "Oh hey Allium, what's up?" He leaned back in his chair and trailed his bony claws on the arm rest.

Allium smiled hearing Hemlock's voice, they had spent a good bit of time together lately and Allium thought Hemlock was a good guy. So Allium thought maybe their relationship could go to the next level. "I was just wondering what you thought of imbuing stones??" He asked in his normal soft tone. Allium did everything in a calm orderly manner, it wasn't big on abrupt movements or changes. Allium would have been happy to stay in his relationship with Aloe and Evergreen, but Ever had moved on with his life. So Allium had little choice but to move on with his.

Hemlock thought he might have misheard the other. He was quiet for a moment in a wide eyed disbelief. The surely wasn't what he had expected, but it wasn't something he was against. "Allium... What brought this up? You want to imbue stones with me?" He was glad they weren't having this conversation face to face. He didn't want have Allium see him look as flustered as he was. He needed the appearance of a cool demeanor all the time. "I mean, you know I'd love to..." He said quietly into the phone as a smug smile began to touch his face.

Allium shrugged though he knew Hemlock couldn't see. "Just thinking about the next step in my life, and I was hoping you would be part of it, but if I misread the signals I'm sorry.." Allium said sadly. Not sure what else to say.. "You'd love to??" Allium asked and then blinked confused. He wanted this, he really hoped Hemlock wanted it too.

"I wouldn't lie about this, I'd love to!" Hemlock's tail was practically wagging. He never would have expected this from Allium. He spoke plainly, but he was so bold. The hybrid had thought maybe he was sick of all the flattery that he laid on him, even though he had held back. "The next step, huh?" He actually wanted him in is life longer? This was a change from those who grew tired of his antics. Maybe Allium would eventually grow tired too, but Hemlock wanted to live in the now. He was up for anything at this point.

Allium smiled and said "Alright then do you want to come over and we'll imbue the stones??" Allium was happy, maybe this would work out and Hemlock and Allium could stay together.

Hemlock was again, surprised by Allium's readiness. "Yeah, be over in a sec." He hung up the phone and quickly grabbed his things to head over to Allium's place.
