Corben had always wanted a large family. He came from one, after all. Like most Baphomet he had family for weeks, and had quite enjoyed it even if they didn't always get along and... even if they didn't really understand his absolute Love of Botany and experimentation with plant magic... but that was beside the point! The point was, he wanted a large family- and he was already on his way there. His two children were already juniors, goodness how time went by... it was probably a good time to consider bringing in a little sibling, now... They were old enough to handle themselves but still come talk to him for guidance, which meant he could give a small child the attention it would need...
Yes, this was the perfect time. Ideally, he would do this with a partner - someone he was committed to and they'd raise the child together, but... ah well, life had other plans. Corben had raised two kids on his own, and he could do it again with a third. The question was whether he should simply imbue on his own, or find someone else to do it with...
Involving others got sticky- he'd rather just acquire a partially imbued stone and finish the job himself... which was what he ended up doing in the end. He just had to wait for the perfect time to take a few days off from work to recover from the lack of energy in would bring on... and then things would be golden~
