Suzume loved children- she really, really did. She loved her daughter, Aeris, more than she could put into words. Aeris's personality was very different from her own- she was subdued, introverted, really... Suzume couldn't help but wonder if maybe she wasn't providing everything Aeris needed on her own. Romance was not really in the cards for her in the time being, but.. more children, well, that was doable. Siblings were good things, right? She had a few herself, and she loved all of them and enjoyed their company growing up.
After spending some time researching her options, she decided to look into imbuing with someone who mostly just wanted to provide assistance to someone else that wanted to look after the resulting kids. That suited her needs the most- after all, she wanted to be involved in their lives, and involving other people was always a little... sticky. And uncertain... this way, things would be clear from the start and there wouldn't really be any questions. Especially questions about whether they would have to stick together in ways Suzume was not sure she could commit to. While she did want to eventually settle down, she preferred that it be organic and not in a setting where it could very well be forced.
Thankfully she ended up finding a couple of sites where folks that wanted to imbue but didn't really want to stick with the other parent(s) or perhaps even have much involvement with the resulting kids. With her course of action in mind, Suzume set out to get the perfect compatible partner for imbuing.
