Aurelia
Name: Aurelia Nicknames: Aura, Auri, Reli Race: Nixie Zodiac: The Lyre Gender: Female Pronouns: She/Her Orientation: TBD (Possibly pansexual) Relationship Status: 'Friend' is a type of relationship, right? I'm a friend! (currently plotted)
Brief Personality: Aurelia is perpetually perky and cheerful, bordering on hyperactive....but really, she's just filled with joy. She's probably one of the friendliest Nightmares around and considers everyone she meets, regardless of race or age, a potential new friend and absolutely LOVES to make others smile. She loves to have fun in many ways, from something as elaborate as a treasure hunt or a choreographed dance to just lying in the grass and watching the clouds. Aurelia is bright, creative, willing to learn new things and social as all get-out. She's so cheerful and excitable that she may come off as either annoying or overwhelming to some and she doesn't really understand personal boundaries. She will hug someone without warning or permission if she's excited enough or feels like it's the right thing to do.
Looking For: Friends! - Aurelia wants as many friends as possible and isn't afraid to be the first to greet someone new. She usually reacts to meeting people with a smile and that ever-cheerful attitude, bombarding them with compliments, questions and suggestions for play. Can you tone it down? - Aurelia may be friendly and have good intentions, but she is a little lax when it comes to personal boundaries and displays of affection. If she made friends with one or more people who aren't as comfortable or open with affection as she is, it might teach her about boundaries and respecting others' personal space while still being friendly. A..bully?! - Aurelia thinks she can be friends with everyone and that being a friendly, loving person conquers all...but what if she is suddenly confronted by someone who doesn't like her and starts picking on her? This bully can have either a genuine reason to not like her or not like her just because; Aurelia's constantly cheerful attitude needs to take a hit when she's confronted by with someone who hurts her emotionally or even physically (within reason) and can actually make her cry. Will the bully always be a problem or will things eventually smooth over somehow? RP will determine that!
Not Looking For: Romance - Currently plotted with Meadow (Lural)
Brief Personality: Shy, sweet and seemingly demure; Iolanthe is very much a quiet violet with a secret fire inside of her. She loves to learn, can be pretty creative and innovative but also a science nerd. Always curious about how the world works, she can often be found looking at a book about whatever subject has piqued her curiosity, taking notes and theorizing about something or another. As a fey, she has a particular interest in plants and their many uses. Following into the nerd stereotype, Io can be very much a quiet follower of people who won't really stand up for herself (unless it has to do with a scientific fact, then she will potentially argue about it to the point of rage.) Io is a very hard-working girl who greatly wants to help others somehow, which could serve to boost her forward or give others something to take advantage of. Iolanthe is already considering going into medicine or alchemy to pursue her scientific passion and her want to aid others...but if her secret fire is ignited, it could sway her choices to something she may have never considered.
Looking For: True friends - Io is a good girl who wants to help and serve others but needs real, true friends who can help keep her out of situations where this desire can be used against her to manipulate her. They should also want to encourage her to stand up for herself and speak out more. Abusive friend(s) - Io is your almost typical nerd who wants to serve and help others, eager to please and be praised for her efforts. Someone out there is sure to take notice of this and want to use it to their advantage. Quietly crushing - If Io has a crush on someone, she is quiet, nervous and almost self-deprecatingly dismissive about it. Likewise, if someone is crushing on HER, she'll likely be overwhelmed and spaztic about it just a bit, not having a clue of how to handle it or what to do. The fire within - While Io may seem quiet and perhaps a little boring on the outside, she has a passion that burns inside....she just has to discover it! She needs someone to show her something that lights that fire and give her the push to show it and possibly pursue it.

Kohaku
Name: Kohaku Nicknames: Haku, Koko, Ko Race: Baphomet Zodiac: The Scepter Gender: Androgynous Pronouns: They/Them/Jyr Orientation: Pansexual Relationship Status: Single. I am a kid, of course. (Plotted)
Brief Personality: If ever there was an incarnation of Buddah, it's Kohaku. Very calm and serene, they personify zen and the "go-with-the-flow" attitude. They're accepting of things as they are yet always see the path towards the better and are willing to help guide others down that path. They're studious and observant to the point of possibly sounding like a know-it-all but they just love to study the world and the people around them. Kohaku isn't malicious or quick to judge....but they will point out a person's negative attributes and the potential psychological reasons behind them. This is just a part of their observational behavior and a desire to help others confront their inner turmoils to better themselves. They seem to have an old soul and speak in a rather eloquent and mature fashion, which could possibly be seen as patronizing...but it's just how they are. They're kind, calm and curious.
Looking For: Friends - Kohaku, like other freshlings, needs friends. They enjoy the company of others though often is more quiet as they seem to study them...and perhaps they are to an extent. Subjects - Kohaku studies everything around them, including other people. Based on fascination and a want to help, they are thinking of being a psychiatrist/psychologist when they grow up and would love an opportunity to test their knowledge and take notes.

Chidori
Name: Chidori Nicknames: Chi, Chi-chi, Dori Race: Kumiho Zodiac: The Chalice Gender: Female Pronouns: She/Her Orientation: TBD Relationship Status: Single, duh. I'm a kid.
Brief Personality: Chidori is a child who is very aware of her position in her species and how she is seen by adults...but that won't stop her from achieving her dreams. She's a low-born kumiho but is determined to prove that she can be just as good as anyone with more than two tails. She's not unkind but she often comes off as cold or aloof and is honest to the point of being blunt. Chidori wants to be famous but also wants to be smart, understanding that educating herself is her first priority. She doesn't believe she's better than everyone else but rather she sees both her age and her predetermined status amidst her kind as tools to use so that she can shock them all. She's intelligent without being snobbish and absolutely HATES being patronized by adults (but will tolerate it to a point if only to save face.) Despite her seemingly apathetic behavior she's a romantic with big dreams and a heart that wants to connect with others.
Looking For: Friends - Chidori needs friends of all types and races. She understands that her isolation in the village impedes her and wants to expand her horizons and social circles. She may come off cold at first but given some time she'll show what a warm person she truly is. Rivals/Enemies - Chidori has big dreams and isn't about to let anyone stand in her way....but that doesn't mean there won't be those who will. It'd be interesting if she came into contact with others who might try to put her down and tell her she isn't good enough....and even more interesting if they were fellow kumiho (either high-born or low-born.) Romance? - Chidori is a hopeless romantic underneath her seemingly aloof exterior. It's possible she may find someone she could crush on or someone might develop a crush on her. Puppy love or something more? Mentor me - Chidori wants to reach her dreams the smart way but could use a guide. Someone who might know how to help her or just offer moral support.
Name: Corazone Nicknames: Cora, Zone Race: Mutated Hybrid (demon/litch) Zodiac: The Staff Gender: Female Pronouns: She/Her Orientation: Pansexual Relationship Status: Single
Brief Personality: Hiding behind books or her hair, Corazone is shy, quiet and typically avoidant of most people. It isn't that she doesn't like people....she's worried they won't like her. She spends a lot of time alone either in her room, the library or out in the gardens to study and think about what makes life....well, life. Often appearing apathetic her litch side leaves her somewhat desensitized to the simple pleasures of being and Cora seeks things to make her feel happy. Generally it's either through learning and discovery but sometimes she finds herself doing something she didn't expect; currently, dancing has become something she's found to enjoy due to the rush it gives her. (WIP)
Looking For: Friends - Despite isolating herself, Cora does want friends. It's just...hard for her to connect with people. (more to come)

Brief Personality: Sweet, generous, loving and motherly; these are some of the words that could describe Yaruka. She's a gentle, patient soul with a lot of love to give. She adores children and would love nothing more than to be a mother, whether to some of her own make or those who need someone to love and nurture them. She's trusting of others and that has gotten her into a world of hurt in the past, but it's part of her nature; she gives people the benefit of the doubt. She may seem passive but there's a fierceness inside of her that comes out when those she cares for are threatened. While she longs to love and be loved there's a fearful part of her that will keep people at a certain distance once she feels things getting too deep.
Looking For: Friends - Who doesn't need friends? Yaruka does! She loves people and loves making friends. She's a sweetheart and doesn't mind making friends with people of all ages (she adores kids.) Romance - Single, ready to mingle and a romantic. Yaruka needs love in her life. She definitely wants a family and a partner to share her life with. I'm Here For You - Yaruka is a very supportive and motherly person. She's always willing to be a shoulder to cry on and a hug for those who need it. Trouble? - Yaruka is generally a trusting sort. She wants to give people the benefit of the doubt to show they are good people before she judges them. This has led to hurt in the past and could still be a problem today, if only by association. She might trust the wrong person, end up manipulated or just be completely oblivious to someone's darker side due to being friends with them. Brief Personality: Intimidating on the outside but rather sweet on the inside, Makana has always felt like an outsider...but that hasn't dampened zir drive to help others. Clever and talented with zir magic, ze was quickly drawn to the arts of divination and intends to study them to help those who may turn to zir for advice, taking zir studies seriously. Makana wants to be liked by anyone and everyone, quick to offer kind words, flattery and aid to anyone willing to accept zir help and can be forgiving to the point of downright ignorance. Ze enjoys encouraging others and helping them get on their way towards their goals, hoping that by being a force of encouragement ze will earn friendships and alliances that will help make zir feel less alone and self-conscious; ze wants to be useful above all else....and this may prove to both be a great strength and a source of trouble.
