Juniper, sometimes Junie to her owner, was resting comfortably in a warm beam of sunshine falling over her master's bed. She was happy and content, a stark contrast to the condition she was found in. Born to a stray Maine Coon, Junie's formative years were less than happy and comfortable. As soon as she was able to survive on her own, fate decided that was what she had to do. Constantly on the run from predators, scrounging for scraps to keep her as fed as possible, and riddled with parasites and disease, she was practically knocking on death's door when a volunteer at the local shelter found her. She had run-ins with humans before, so nursing her back to health wasn't an easy task. That is, until she met her owner, another volunteer. He treated her so gently, and exercised patience with her. She soon started to warm up to this lad and was soon inseparable from him. With his constant care, she recovered quickly and even started to gain weight. The shelter managers would often joke that he was spoiling her, and eventually let the volunteer adopt her. From that point onward, Juniper lived a happy, and somewhat spoiled, life with her beloved master. She never wanted for anything again. Well, maybe for a family, but it was something she was willing to sacrifice.

Gregory sat upon the bed, gently stroking Juniper's fur. His kitty had gotten so chubby but he didn't mind. He had just gotten home from work, taken a shower, and wanted to check up on his feline before he went on a date. For months he had a crush on one of the workers. Never getting the gal to ask her out, he finally did when they were giving Junie a check-up. Gregory had never been that lucky with love. Well minus his cute Maine Coon and his family. Hopefully this would be his chance to finally maybe find the one. Laying on the bed he cuddled with his kitty happily. "Junie...wake up. I'm going to feed you dinner before I head out for the afternoon." he softly cooed petting her gently and softly. Her fur was so plush now, so smooth and healthy looking. Both of them shared a bond, one that was formed in the shelter.

Juniper stretched and yawned, before looking up to Gregory and trilling happily as she walked onto his lap and rubbed up against him. He was her master, and she was going to make sure everyone knew it. She purred sweetly as she rubbed her head against his chest and nestled into his fingers as he pet her.

He chuckled sitting up and gently holding her. Nuzzling his face against her fur he kissed the top of Junie's head. "There's my sweet girl. Did you enjoy your little nap?" he cooed standing up and carrying her to the kitchen. Gently placing her on the floor he began to prepare some food for her. Thanks to her gaining weight she looked healthier, but she was starting to get lazier and pudgy, so he didn't feed her as much as he did when they were trying to have her gain weight in the first place. It was hard to imagine that she was scrawny and looked as if she was about to die months ago. Setting the bowl down, with her food, he smiled and pat her on the head. "I've got a date Junie! So I'll be gone for a while. Hopefully it'll all go well." he cheerfully stated to his cat as he began to clean up the kitchen a little.

She gave him a loving meow before shifting her attention to her food, eating up and cleaning her face off in between bites. Her fluffy tail twitched to and fro as she filled her chunky tummy. Her ears twitched as a knock was heard at Gregory's door. As soon as she was done, she wandered to the door and sat, staring curiously.

A beautiful woman was on the other end of the door when Gregory answered. "Oh Laura! Please come in! I'm just about ready to--" " I'm sorry Gregory but I don't think this will work out..." she stated sadly, " I-I'm in love with Bob. He and I just click you know?" "I-I see.." he replied trying to hide his disappointment. Bob was an intern a handsome young man that drove the women wild it seemed. Laura had fallen under his spell as he felt her give him a hug. " You're a sweet guy, and I know some day you'll make a girl happy. Sorry." she spoke then turned to leave. Bob, standing outside the car, waved at him with a smile. Gregory watched them kiss and embrace then pull away. His heart was broken and he sat down on the front porch crying. What happened? About a month ago she seemed madly in love with him? Gregory felt so embarrassed.

Juniper could hear Gregory out on the front porch, and dashed to his lap in a matter of moments, looking up at her master's face and meowing with concern as she pawed at his chest, trying to get his attention. She knew she could make him feel better. It was her duty seeing as he saved her life.

Feeling his heavy cat rush into his lap he pulled her into a soft hug. Gently petting her fur he closed his eyes. "Oh Junie, looks like I lucked out again. I wish I could find someone to love it's so hard." he spoke with a sigh. His cat always made him feel better. Slowly standing to his feet Greg held her in his arms. She was getting pretty heavy. "Well I guess it's you and me tonight. What should we watch?" he asked wiping his eyes as he placed her on the couch.

She gave him a soft meow and licked his cheek as they settled in for the night. As Gregory laid his head down to rest for the evening, his beloved cat jumped into bed and curled up beside him. The next morning, as Greg woke, he would see his Junie's sweet face. But her body was another story entirely, being much more humanoid and completely nude, save for the layer of fur that was still on her body. She snored softly beside him, sound asleep and none the wiser to her transformation.

He felt his fat cat snuggling next to him like she always did. Yet during the night he felt the odd warmth increase. Greg stirred that morning and groggily reached over to pet his cat. Instead his hand felt flesh. Puzzled he looked down and his eyes widened. A woman lay in his bed, nude. Placing a hand over his face his cheeks burst with a soft crimson color. Who the heck was she? More importantly she had cat ears and a tail? Not to mention bits of fur. "J-Junie?" he muttered out shaking her a little. "W-Well whomever you are how did you get into my house!" he somewhat demanded rolling the blankets over to cover her body.

The cat girl opened her eyes and smiled. "Good morning master!" Her eyes then went wide. "Did I really just say that? I did, I can talk!" she mewled excitedly. "Oh my gosh, I have so much to say!" she jabbered on, unaware of her awkward circumstances.

He was surprised she wasn't freaked out about it? Quickly grabbing one of his shirts he handed it to her while averting his eyes. "S-So much to say?" he asked figuring this was some kind of odd dream. Still she was cute for a chunky neko girl. "G-Good morning Junie."

She hugged him tightly after putting on the shirt. "Yes, master! I'm Junie, your cat. I wanted to tell you all about how grateful I am that you saved my life and took such good care of me!" she purred, nuzzling his face sweetly to keep him marked as her master and hers alone.

He blushed feeling her pudgy and curvy body press against him. This felt too real to be a dream. Had his cute chubby cat really become Human? Her words touched his heart and he smiled wrapping his arms around her and nuzzling back. "Well when I saw you, I could just leave you to die." he softly spoke beginning to pet the top of her head. "I'm glad I go to you when I could, of course I might have over done it a little with the food." he chuckled poking her tummy gently. "Yet I'm just glad you're healthy now. So....you've become Human and you don't think it a little strange?" he asked staring down into her beautiful feline eyes.

She giggled as he poked her pudge. "Nuh uh! It's the best ever, cause now I can make sure that no one can hurt you anymore. I can be your girlfriend," she stated, pressing her cute, cool button nose against his own. She looked down to her belly as it growled hungrily, making her meow. "Excuse me, I mean I'm hungry, master. It's breakfast time!"
