He knew this was a bad idea.

Deep down, he knew it. Rime hadn't been around for awhile and Taylor had wanted to ask this question for months. Perhaps since the moment they got together even, though his anxiety had quickly shoved that idea down the drain. Taylor had, for a long time, wanted kids. Yes, they knew they were still in university. Yes, they knew that he was still young. He got it. But it didn't stop him.

He never had a family, honestly. The idea of having one had always lurked, even as a kid. Back then, he had prayed to discover a sibling. After that, it turned into hope his parents would be found. Eventually, as an adult, it surfaced into wanting to be a parent. He had stopped himself, for years, from doing it, but now? Right now? He couldn't anymore. He regret waiting now. Rime was incredibly busy, and he couldn't wait for them anymore. If he wanted to take this plunge, he needed to do it now. Right now. Before his anxiety took over and he continued avoiding what he truly wanted.

So, with a deep sigh, Taylor pushed himself off the bed.

It was time.
