Meru sat on a park bench near a lamp post. The night was at it's darkest and she could just feel everything around her. A chill went down her spine, but it wasn't from the night air. There were just too many feelings. She didn't know what everything was, but so far, most of the feelings had been rather, well, unfriendly. There was no desire in her to do any harm to anyone - her civilian job made people feel good, and Meru wanted to stick to that.
Unless, she had no choice.
She could feel presences approaching. One felt oddly familiar, though Meru didn't really understand it. The other... it felt kind of mean, but not really? It was a weird sensation that she couldn't quite place, but she'd take the good over the bad any day. Instincts took in until she could see someone in front of her. The woman had a similar hair color to herself, but much, much longer. Her outfit was definitely pretty, but didn't look very easy to move around in. "Hello?" Meru announced herself. "I noticed you were around, but also something... bad coming this way?"
Meru just wanted some help... Maybe?

Eleusis was still getting her bearings as a Knight - learning exactly what she could and couldn't do, how much she could get away with.
Lesson number one: running in this dress? All but impossible, even if she lifted it up. The dress just hugged too close to her figure, and so all she could do was hold it up and walk as carefully as she could manage so as not to trip.
She'd let go and leaned against a wall, briefly, to take a break and try to sort out the buzzing she felt in her head, when there was a voice calling for her.
"Oh, hey!" She called, waving, and then she picked up her skirt again and did the little half-jog she could manage over to the other...Page, right, that was the word. "I could feel something too, do you...know what it is, maybe?" She looked embarrassed, and then she offered a hand. "Hi, I'm Eleusis, I'm brand new and I have no idea what I'm doing."

Meru took the hand and smiled. "It's nice to meet you Eleusis. I'm Meru, not new to being a Page, but still not really sure what I'm doing." She looked up and down Eleusis real quick. "You're also a Cosmos Knight, correct? Though your outfit looks a lot harder to maneuver in than my own. Do you also have something better to defend yourself with? It's not like I want to fight, but..."
She held up her right hand and showed her the ring. "I got this one day and powered up. It's all nice and pretty, but hasn't really helped me get out of sticky situations." Meru couldn't help but frown.
The irritation faded and became anxiety when she realized the bad feeling was still coming towards them. "I'm not sure what it is. Can't say I've explored all that much, but it definitely doesn't feel good." It didn't take long for it to feel like it should be right in front of them until she heard... A hiss?
Meru looked down and noticed a rather mean looking cat, but not a cat? "I think that's a cat youma?" It looked small and relatively harmless. That was, until it jumped and gave Meru a scratch on her left hand. "Okay... We should definitely get rid of that thing!"
