The night would be what Akkira could consider good, She'd done so well at a lot of the booths she went to that bloodfest and without her lusus there to complain or boss her around. Though, this would probably be the last time she would have this luxury. Tekkemom had already said that she'd be watching and Akkira knew what that meant, she would see everything the young redblood does and would probably disapprove, but whatever. For now, she could enjoy herself. And that's exactly what she did. As she walked along , just outside the booths akkira stumbled and fell into a pile of snow. Rather than shout in frustration, the young redblood seemed to try and dig herself into the whit fluff before lifting her head out of it with an audible intake of breath. She began humming a song and gathering snow to make small handfulls, not quite snowballs which she rubbed on her face. She was absolutely interested in that hot streak that the snow seemed to leave on her face-- well, cold and then hot. Like a cold burning sensation. It was remarkably weird and she couldn't help but laugh as she rubbed the snow on her face. " Eugh, what do you find so great about this terrible weather?" Akkira stopped humming as this was said to her. Instead of actually answering the specter troll in question she began a sing as loudly as she could. " The snow feels so strange on my face Like fire or something like thaaaaaaat~! Does it burn you tooooooooooo? Well just eat it uuuuupppppp maybe you'll lighten uuuuuuppp just a few degreeeeeesssss or catch fiiiiiireeee!!!!!" Gl!tch~ Take your time getting to this, i just thought I'd kick us off.

Guouli felt kind of fidgety. He needed to do something, but nothing could calm him down right now. What he really wanted to do was sign up for the watercolor thing, but Hogdad wouldn't let him because it sounded like it would 'rile him up more after his behavior', whatever that meant. And the bobcurling wasn't for a while yet. And Leeroi kept hanging out with that lowblood who he wanted to just push into the ice and hope it would break under her so she'd sink.
Watching a lowblood trip was funny on its own, but the entertainment turned into confused fascination. The redbloog seemed to be smearing snow on her face, after first burying into it. Then she had to sing. Very bold, for a lowblood, and clearly she didn't care.
Guouli did glean from the ASSJACKED booth that this troll was blind, but apparently she wanted to advertise it to every single person on the boardwalk.
The blueblood wandered on over to Akkira. "Hey, hey red eyes! People are starin' at you. That's when trolls use their eyes to watch you be a total weirdo." He bent down and started gathering snow. "They're probably thinking, what's up with that lowblood? Oh man, she's blind and doesn't know what she's doing, how embarrassing." He plopped his handfuls of snow in her hair, just to see if she'd react to the sensation.
"So I'm thinkin', you should make 'em know you're not just being an idiot."saihen I needed a warm-up before fills today so :U

Akkira had been humming for several minutes by the time Guouli had made the choice to come and harass the little redblood. Red eyes? Did that mean her? She really had no idea what that even really meant. She knew that 'red' was usually really warm to the touch and often had a distinct smell but other than that she really wasn't sure who he meant by red eyes, or if that was just some sort of slang she'd never heard before. She opened her mouth to respond to the troll, when a mound of cold snow was plopped on her head and she let out a surprised squeak instead. She could feel some of the snow fall into her Kimono and she wiggled a bit. " EHK, OH THAT'S COLD," Akkira giggled as she felt the weird sensation for snow falling through her clothes. In retaliation she reached up, grabbed one of Guo's hands and leaned her headback so that more snow fell. Oh, she recognized this, wasn't this the troll from ASSJACKED? " Well, hey partner!" a smile spread on the lowblood's face. " Hmmm.... So, they think I'm just being an idiot, huh?" She let go of his hand and let hers drop to her side, her face quickly changing from a smile to something like contemplation. " Well, if they aren't troll enough to say that to my face then they aren't troll enough to be worth my attention," she rolled her head forward and put her hands in the snow so she could push herself up to her feet. " But since you said something, I guess I should do something about that," Now how could she pull that off and was this coldbodied troll going to take part, it was his idea. " But, maybe I just like doing stupid things. Who knows. " " Uhg, I don't like the look of this troll, he just screams trouble." the ghost grumbled at Akkira.

"Partner, huh? Funny." A very cute little lowblooded way of....seeing...things, heh. Guo was pretty sure the moment was more of an unexpected burden than a friendly little partnership. But maybe the little weirdo couldn't get that.
He had to admit it was fun, in a way, watching her spunk. She wasn't stupid enough to give him s**t, a good start. "I like your attitude, kid. But, y'know, you're a redblood, so you gotta be smart about how people see ya. Some of those purplebloods, y'know, they'll get you culled without saying a single thing to ya beforehand."
Or, at least, he wished he'd see them doing that more often. It would make boring city adventures hysterical. "If you wanna be stupid, you gotta do it the right way. I mean, if you don't wanna be humiliated n' culled in stuff. Like this. Hold still."
He started piling snow around her, effectively starting to bury her in the snow while in the position she was in.

Okay, so partner might be a bit of a stretch that had to put up with her blindness for the time being. DETAILS, who needed them, really? But, still forced burdain or not, partner was someone you worked with or something, right? That was actually some pretty new information for her. She'd been called redblood and lowblood before, but having no idea what that meant she more or less ignored it. So this revelation was startling to know. Purple, what did that feel like? Had she ever met a purpleblood before? She really needed to prepare for the time she might have to fight one of these purplebloods. " Oh, well, I guess getting culled wouldn't be a heck of a lot of fun," she said in a bit of a joking manner, as she felt the snow slowly being piled around her. With a big grin she whispered, " but it would make me... SNOW MORE!," If the other troll didn't paff her with snow to the face she would be surprised, that was probably one of the worst jokes ever. She could hear a very soft, ' oh my gly'b no......' from her earlier companion.

He paused in the middle of his work. His hands remained in the snow, starting to feel the numbing cold. Guouli had to process what he had just heard.
Then, Guo, despite himself, let out a cackle. Primarily in disbelief. Lowbloods were supposed to cower at the idea of being killed, and this one was making bad jokes? He couldn't tell if she was insolent, not getting it, or coping. "Ohhhh that was- that was so bad! I gotta check the Cullable Offense Manual and see if that joke's in there. You better be snowflake while I do that."
With that, he went back to packing snow, whistling as if he hadn't made his own awful joke.

Well at least Captain snow plough seemed to be having a good time. The cackle was evidence enough that she was probably doing something right, though she was trying to keep in mind that at any moment this troll MIGHT get aggressive, that's what trolls did right? Okay, she had to admit that she liked this troll and hoped that things didn't go south. " Well, maybe not that joke, but you might find my name there, Akkira Kagome the witty wonder of the west, offense: I'm snow punny. Practically a criminal already!" If that wasn't the truth though, but, who could honestly tell with this joking atmosphere. Hoooopefully nobody took her seriously. Akkira listened closely to any change in pace or oncoming footprints that might indicate she took her joke too far and began shoveling snow towards her to help with the mound a bit, though not too much since it would probably disturb Guo's work and cause the snow to crumble. . " Soooooo, chill 'n' clever, what's your name? OOooorrrr, should I just keep making up names until I find one that suits you?" The real question at this point was whether or not she could actually make an ally out of this troll or not, at the very least a fun night was fine by her.

"Ugh, I'm calling the drones." Guo's face quirked into a lasting smile. The red-eyed 'wonder' wouldn't see it though. The blueblood was unsure if that was for the better or not. Was...? He allowed to enjoy the company of a lowblood? He wasn't used to that. Not, like, actually getting a nice vibe. Fun? Was it fun? Like, she wasn't annoyingly fake so far like Psykgi seemed to be. But bolder than that kid from the arcade.
He'd just have to see.
"That'd be fun, actually. Especially since I know your name now. Unless you're one of those smartass lowbloods who like to lie to highbloods. Not really my problem either way, though."
Akkira was turning out to be a pretty decent snowtroll, by Guo's account. "We need buttons, Li'l Miss Red." He pondered. "Oh! Sea shells. Have you checked those out? The beach n' stuff? I dunno what all your lusus lets you do since you could just like. Wander off into the ocean n' not realize what the heck you're doing."

A gasp of mock horror, " OH NO what am i going to do now, I'm trapped in snow and you're going to get the drones? What's a girl like me to do?" OF course she couldn't see his smile, but the energy of the joke was enough for her to keep going with it. Right? " Pbbbbbbbbttttt," Akkira let the noise be as wet as possible with little bits of spit going everywhere. She sure was one classy troll, wasn't she? Such grace! " I can't even tell a highblood from a lowblood, so knowing who to lie to would be like-- uhhhh," she paused to think for a moment. She was definitely starting to feel that snow now. " Oh! hey, sir, madam or whatever the cluck you are, I'm going to start telling you some hoofbeast excriment, what color, by chance, is your blood? I'm blind you see--" She felt so clever with that sight joke, so very clever. Also, cold, she was starting to feel VERY cold. " Hey! I can hear the ocean and the color of the ocean! Kind of..." Her echo-location still needed work, but she could hear the water well enough to at least know where it is. " Despite what it looks like I can hear colors and shapes pretty well," she couldn't help but feel proud of this fact. " AAAnyway, Tekemom doesn't like me going towards moving water unless it's bath time, something about drowning, but if that's such a worry, why not teach me how to---" she paused and screwed up her face, she didn't know the word she was looking for. " Swim?" came an impatient voice to her spongeclots. Akkira looked like she was concentrating hard on something. " Swim, is that it?" she turned her head slightly away from guo to try and hear her other companion better as they explained swimming further. " Yes, swimming, to swim, being able to move through water without drowning with just your body," The young redblood nodded as best she could. " Ohhhh, okay, cool." " Yeah, if it's such a problem I should definitely learn to swim, then I won't drown as easily," Oh, wait what was Guo actually talking about? seashells? She hadn't had the chance to actually go to the beach and check them out. She wondered what those would feel like. " Never been to the beach actually. At least I don't think so, I mean hey I might have walked onto it and didn't know it because, you know," She fluttered her eyelashes at him and giggled. " What are seashells?"

"I guess you're just gonna have to go to the pun-pun pits, wiggler," he responded with a mock sigh. "What a sad, short, life."
After a while, though, it was pretty tempting to shove snow in her mouth as she went on and on, just to see her reaction. Mouthy, mouthy lowblood. "You can hear colors? But not blood colors?" Sounded dumb. Guo felt the smallest ounce of something, realizing she really had a disadvantage with the hemospectrum. Like, she could be kinda screwed without her lusus.
For instance, if he was in a bad mood he wouldn't care if someone was blind. He'd kick their a** anyway. And it probably wouldn't be just him, either, to take advantage of such easy sport.
Pitiful, really. This girl was gonna get destroyed before long. Utterly wasted. Guo himself had already stated this stuff out loud, but now he was kind of forced to think about it.
The blueblood blinked at the blind girl. Mind back on track, he noted how expressive she was despite being unable to see. "Oh. They're... Okay, I'm gonna go get some. Don't move, or I'll really bury ya!"
With an excuse in his lap, Guouli fled from the scene. His boots hit the sand, cold wind in his face, and he listened to it woosh by. The little blueblood approached the tide. He leaned down and pulled his hands out of his gloves. Letting his fingers sink in the frigid water, he splashed his face. Cold, cold, very cold. But better. Refreshingly numbed, he started picking shells out of the wet sand around his feet.
His return was quiet, except for the snow crackling under his boots. Otherwise, Guouli didn't announce his arrival until he was pretty close to where he had left Akkira. A few shells clinked around in his arms.
"Seashells," he greeted, "are things on the beach. You could trip over 'em while you're down there. They're like rocks, but cooler. I dunno if they're as strong though." He put one, then another, on the snow covering the front of Akkira's body.
The rest fell to the ground in a heap in front of him, sans one he had in his hand still. He put that one in Akkira's hair.
After a hot second, claws and legs popped out of the spiral shell. A little hermit crab, soon scuttling about in confusion.
"And some of them are hives," Guo added with another grin.

Akkira bit her lip when Guo left. She couldn't help but feel the faintest tinges of worry in her pumpbuscuit. If what she was told was true, then not only was she playing a risky game here, but she didn't really have her lusus to back her up if the game went south. She wiggled just a bit in discomfort but tried not to break the pile and then just let her head sort if fall forward. Guo didn't seem like a bad person to her, maybe someone she has to be careful of for now but non threatening for the moment. Actually, he had to be one of the most fun people she'd ever met, hands down. But, she was still gambling here that he wouldn't be offended by her jokes or report her for literally anything he found wrong. " Be strong.... be strong...." she whispered to herself trying to knock away her worries. Everything would be fine, hell she might even make her first friend from the outside! There was nothing to worry about! Right? her head shot up when she heard the faint sound of crunching snow closing in towards her. The footsteps were light enough not to be a teen or adult but she couldn't yet assume it was the troll from earlier. Then he started talking and it was as though tension released from her body in one big wave. Now she was just cold from the snow. She listened to him talk about the shells and they actually piqued her interest. THey might make good craft material... maybe something for the charms her lusus had been teaching her to make. " Yeah? Well maybe we could --AAAHAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Akkira let out the loudest scream as she felt the p***k of the hermit crabs legs on her head. She shook vigorously until her arms were free enough to smack at the thing in her hair. the hermit crab went flying and when it was gone she grabbed onto her horns, panting... and then a breathy laugh left her, followed by a burst of louder laughter. " Aww, man you got me! I didn't even see that coming. I won't say the best but it got me, smooth move slick..." she continued to laugh then frowned. " .... you know that snow drift was weak, the walls should be thicker next time so I can't break out...."

Oh, how Akkira reacted. Guo wasn't sure how she'd be. Maybe she'd be cool. Maybe she'd laugh. Who knew! But he wanted to see. Wigging out, though? Priceless. So she did have cracks in that delusional armor of hers. Excellent.
He held his gut, laughing so hard he nearly fell to his knees. "Of course you didn't see that coming. You're blind!" Guouli cackled. "Jeez!" He rolled his eyes. "Don't even tell me how to make snowtrolls, Little Miss Weirdo. If I didn't want you out, you wouldn't get out. I know what I'm doing." He stated with a superior sneer.
"Anyway, since you ruined my handiwork, do you wanna check out these shells? Some of them are smooth, some are rigid... You can feel the crab, too, if you stop being a wuss for a minute." He offered his hand for her to know where he was, and then if she was receptive, he'd start letting her hold them. He could do that much for her after Akkira had been such a hilarious spectacle.

She scoffed, though it was all in good humor. She figured he'd point out she was blind that's why she said it. " What, just because I'm blind I can't tell someone is pulling a prank on me?" though she did figure he might make the walls of the snowtroll more thick, honestly she had expected this entire encounter to go south so long ago it was amazing to her that she got away with just a scuttling whatever on her head. So she remained silent about the snow troll from there. Akkira wanted to throw snow at him, she was frustrated with him but at the same time it was actually really fun. " It's not called being a wuss, it's called survival instinct. My lusus says if I can't defend myself in any situation then there isn't any point to living and I should just lay down and die." She said as though this was absolutely the most normal thing a lusus would say. She took Guo's hand. It was a lot colder than she thought it would be, Akkira wondered how much of that was because of the weather and how much was because of his higherblood status. She allowed him to guide her to the shells but after that screaming, her lusus would be around soon and would be pissed that she was just loitering around " I can't stay much longer though, my lusus is probably going to come back soon..." She wouldn't mention that she didn't like her associating with other trolls at all." I wanna hold the crab before I have to go."

"That's kinda intense, bro. I think your lusus made you kinda paranoid." It was still funny, all things considered. "Survival instinct when something is hurting you, not when you're just surprised. But I guess it's kinda all the same when you can't see." He said this not even mean-spirited, just fact of the matter.
She touched him, establishing distance and where he was. Good start. But they seemed to be out of time. Which was actually...disappointing? "Aww, lame. Oh well, you're probably not that hard to track down. I'll bury you some other time, I guess. Okay, I'm gonna let go so I can pick it up. Stay still."
He did just that, then leaned down to pick up the poor, discombubulated thing. "I dunno if you felt it in your hair, but this guy's tiny. Too small to be a lusus. But they live in shells cuz if they didn't, you could step on 'em like a bug. So it's, like, armor, I guess. Anyway." He held it up to her, then guided her hand to the shell. "They're weird little guys. But they have pincers, which are hardcore. Now that's a survival instinct thing! Here, let me take care of it so ya don't get pinched."
And with that, he moved his free hand away from Akkira's, and to the claws. With the broad side, he let both of the crab's pincers bite into the meat of his hand.
