Sarah Bellamy Ever so happy and humming as she walked the castle, young headmaid Sarah is practically skipping through the stone halls as she makes to the king's bedroom. With how busy King Arthur been running the kingdom the king has been up quite early and usually to the point he beats the rising of the sun; And the head maid herself. Because of this Sarah unconsciously enter her king's room and with her soft maid humming she'd begin with watering the flowers within Arthur's chambers as the young lady had her mind in the clouds.

The Queen, like her children, was heart broken from her husband's passing away. He was her better half after all, she vowed to spend her life with him and now he was gone, the man she loved with all her heart gone for ever. She didn't even get to give him a proper farewell, for the few times that they spoke about dying - they mentioned it would be in their old age, when they both had wrinkles and weak bones, holding hands even in their grave..but he left without her. If she didn't have her children to look after, she wouldn't hesitate and go after him, slitting her throat or her wrist to die a painful yet peaceful death to be reunited with her beloved, but she didn't want to leave their kin alone. Specially with Aldon's new responsibilities. The queen lay on her King's sheets, holding onto one of his robes, the ones she liked the best on him and buried her face into his lingering scent while she cried herself to sleep. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Once she arrived at the door, she stopped placing a hand gently on it's handle before finally opening the door to see her mother laying on the bed clutching one of fathers robes. "M-mother? M-may I join you?" She asked in a soft saddened coo, not wanting to disturb her mother if she wanted solitude.

Her blue eyes shot open when she heard Athena, flinching almost like she didn't expect to be disturbed. She did state to all her servants that she didn't wish to be bothered or even spoke of about anything that needed to be done, yet it was her daughter that came to her, even with her state she was in, she didn't want to refuse her. After all, the King was her father too. Sitting up as she wiped her tears, trying to find her smile as she smoothened her black dress while still clenchingon the dress. "Of course love, you don't have to ask me." her voice cracked from the long hours of sobbing, shifting a little so she gave her enough space to sit by her. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

"You needn't put on airs for us mother, we know you're hurting as we are." She murmured softly before resting her head on her mothers shoulder, letting the tears silently fall as they wished. "I miss him so much it hurts.... why does it have to hurt?" She whispered, feeling so very sad and weak in the situation. Almost as if she were nothing more than a small child helpless to do anything for those around her.

The queen hesitantly and slowly moved her arm around her, stroking her shoulder gently to calm her down a little but her own eyes betrayed her, letting tears flow freely. "I should at least be strong for you all, I can't just bawl and sob while my children need me.." she sniffed, turning over slightly to kiss her forehead. Pursing her lips lightly, she couldn't answer her right away, she didn't know what to say, not because she didn't have an answer, but mostly since she couldn't get herself to speak through this sadness clouding her. "B-Because... He was a part of of all of us.. When a part of you is forcefully taken away from you, it hurts.." she managed to mumble softly. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

"Your children think the same way mother. So perhaps we should all be each others strength and as a family work through the loss we've shared." She murmured before feeling her dear mother shift and kiss her forehead, causing her to sniffle a little in a hope of gathering a little more strength for her mothers sake. "Father was very much part of us true...We most like won't stop missing him, but the hurt will stop, won't it?" She asked in a soft coo before kissing her mother on the cheek. Of course Snowy could feel the sadness between them and finally moved to sit on the queens lap in a hope of comforting her a little.

The woman would look down at her daughter, smiling back lightly as she brushed her hair gently.When did her little darling grow up so much, that she was helping her cope with their loss? "You're right..but I should still be strong to set an example for you all.." she said to her, brushing her hair still, smiling as she looked down at her. She nodded to her next question, eventually it would stop hurting as much, but it would still linger, probably..right? "When did my Athena grow up so much?" she asked her softly, smiling down at her and letting her kiss her cheek. "You already have mother, that's why we're as strong as we are. Between what you and father taught us, we're able to keep afloat in times of trouble. The people know of our loss and feel it as well, so shouldn't we be strong as a family for their sake?" She asked in a gentle tone before shyly looking aside. "Perhaps when she fell in love or when she heard the news. It's hard to know which." She murmured, smiling a little at her darling dog who was enjoying every brush to his fur the queen gave him. Though he made sure to press into her a bit as if trying to hug her.

The woman would pass a slight smile, she was right, the royal couple had given their children enough discipline and teachings to keep them grounded. Besides, she was right that they had to remain strong as a family too. She nodded to her and kissed her head as she rubbed her shoulder again gently. "You're right honey, I'm worried for your brothers aswell though. I hope they don't take the loss too badly." she said softly. The response the young one gave made her chuckle a little, brushing the little pup's fur a little more as she looked back at her daughter. "I'm worried about them too mother. Aldon I think has more than just father's passing on his mind though, but as always will keep it close to his chest unless cornered. Kaiden however has taken the loss quite hard I think, but I've not seen either of them to know for certain." She replied softly before giggling lightly and nodding. "She will still be around mother, just a little buried for the time being." She murmured while gently patting Snowy on the head. The sweet white little ball of fur still cuddling as close as possible to the queen, feeling as if his efforts were working as the sadness between them seemed to lessen a little.

Valeska sighed lightly, nodding to her. She too was worried about them both, but her own sorrow made her oblivious to their pain. Thank the gods for Athena, or she might have spent weeks and months this way. She had to be there to comfort her dear elder son, poor boy had so much pressure on his shoulders, not to mention Kaiden, he was a little sensitive in this matter after all. "Don't worry, we shall go meet them and check on them together, a family should stick together after all." she said softly. The queen pat her head and even the little fluff ball like a thank you for his efforts. "I don't think it's possible for your hair to get any whiter mother, already white enough. The worry may cause wrinkles though, and those would be noticeable to any who dared get point them out." She replied softly, trying to gently tease her mother despite the sadness she still felt. Of course Snowy gave a little bark at being patted before suddenly moving to lick the queens face happily. It was very clear that he was thanking her for the attention.
