Reinerite had started taking a small satchel-style bag whilst out on her quota gathering runs.
It allowed for a place to temporarily stow energy orbs as her uniform had nothing in the way of pockets as well as take a bottle of water along with her - something that had been flat out essential during the warm late August weather.
It had been late afternoon when she first stepped out, looking for her preferred target of drunks, although the park had been quiet, prompting her to lean against an empty picnic table as she debated whether it would be too early to try heading out towards the bars..
Because whilst Reinerite didn't plan to actually step foot inside, the bars generally yielded a good amount of drunks...
And then she paused as she picked up on the aura, grey eyes shifting to scan around her surroundings sharply although the aura lacked the sickly-sweetness of the few run ins that she had had on previous quota runs.Unoderi Hope this works as a start Uno but lmk if I need to tweak anything. Also apologies for the title - titles aren't my strong point :3

Sarabauite was hungry, tired, emotionally drained... In other words, all manner of icky feelings. While her main prerogative always was to fill her energy quota, it was now at odds with the fact she had rent to pay, and the young adult was trying to juggle both at once and pulling double time on her nights out. In one pocket, she kept the energy orbs she drained from anyone she managed to catch traipsing about at night. In the other, there were the bills she filched from expensive-looking men she dearly hoped were just human and not members of Order.
In the end of that night, her hard work amounted to nothing. The energy wasn't enough to meet her quota and the stolen money could probably pay the rent if she survived on a loaf of bread the rest of the month. Sighing, she stopped to take a rest on the roof of a building before heading home. Just as she was about to plop down and sprawl herself out, Sarabauite righted herself at the sensing of another energy signature.
Brown eyes glanced down to the park below as she shifted her glasses up. Yeesh, should I flee? I don't have the energy for this, the lieutenant thought. But it seems... familiar? A Chaos signature?
Relying on this train of thought, Sarabauite swallowed and dropped down from the rooftop and into the thicket of trees below. From there, she crept carefully to the source of the signature, and sighed inwardly when, indeed, it was a Chaos signature.
To the figure leaning against the picnic table, she said, "H-hello... I'm, um, not interrupting you, am I?"

Reinerite had been glancing over at the trees that lay just beyond the last of the picnic tables, but her head shifted almost automatically at the sound of the voice, shifting over and to the right where it sounded like it had come from.
And whilst she didn't move from her position by the table, her grey eyes noted that there were more trees that way.
"No you're not interrupting" she called back, taking a chance that the voice was connected to the aura she was picking up on...
An aura that the comforting feel of chaos to it, as opposed to the overly sickly-sweetness of the auras that she had come to associate with Order.Unoderi Apologies for the delay and I'll get our other rp tagged soon

The only discernible aspect of the lieutenant beneath the shade of the tree was the glint of her red frames. Slowly, next came the top of her white head, and then her flower pin, before her whole body crept into view. Sarabauite took a hesitant step forward, and then another, before grounding herself to that medium distance from the park bench for fear of threading any closer. While the other was an ally on the Negaverse front, she wasn't sure if she should give Reinerite space or not.
"A-ah, good, good," she said, dipping her head twice. "I-I, um, I just happened on a signature and followed it... And I—" Sarabauite paused for a second as her synapses fired away upon looking on the familiar face and blue hair. She didn't know the other personally, but she had a rather good memory for features, and could connect dots in a snap. "...I think I know you... I-I mean, from somewhere! You were... You were at the meeting, right? For, um, the Information branch? I think I remember... seeing you... there. I'm Sarabauite, n-nice to meet you, um...?"

As the other agent stepped out from under the cover of the trees, Reinerite realised that she recognised this particular Lieutenant.
She had been at the Information branch meeting and Reinerite also remembered seeing her in passing during the Negaverse tournament, in part because she had remembered the other mentioning at the Information meeting that Aurostibite had been the one to bring her into the Negaverse as well.
"I was" she said smiling as she nodded at the other Lieutenant's question about the Information meeting. "I remember you mentioning there that General Aurostibite was the one who brought you into the Negaverse."
She continued "He did the same with me."
Another smile as she added "And it's nice to meet you Sarabauite, I'm Reinerite."

The mentioning of the general's name certainly piqued the lieutenant's interest. She crept a few steps closer, her brows drawn up in curiosity.
"He... the same with you? R-recruited? Oh, that's—!" Taking a breath before she let her excitement get the better of her, Sarabauite said, "I mean, i-it's nice to meet you, Reinerite."
She dipped her head at the other and pushed her frames higher up on the bridge of her nose.
"Did he approach you, too? I-I mean, like, in the park. He came to me when I was taking a walk. How about you?"

"Sort of" Reinerite admitted as she thought back to the night when she had first encountered Aurostibite. "I was out late working on something for one of my classes and I encountered him on the way back to dorms."
She had thought his outfit was on the unusual side and had been curious about his medals.
"We ended talking about terrorists" although she hadn't really known much outside of what was covered in Tag Swagger's show and whilst that meant that she wasn't completely unaware, she certainly hadn't known that the 'terrorists' was what the media appeared to have dubbed the whole powered thing.
"And he offered me strength" and whilst she hadn't been a Lieutenant for that long it was an offer that she had never regretted taking.Unoderi no need to apologise - I should be apologising myself for taking so long to tag back. I'll try and tag our other open rp soon too

Sarabauite's interest was suddenly piqued. "Ah, h-he... He did the same to me," she cried. "We, um, didn't talk much about terrorists. I mean, I do think they're a problem, but like there was more to our meeting. I feel like that power, Chaos, like... It's given me strength to face my problems." She chuckled awkwardly. "It's, um, kinda hard to put into words."
The lieutenant touched a hand to her bosom. "But it's something I never regretted. Ever. I'm glad... I chose this." Sarabauite sighed. "B-but I'm still kinda ambivalent... Since I am getting used to everything and there's not much people I know. Everything's so... different. B-but a good different. If that, um, makes any sense."

"It does make sense" Reinerite said with a slight nod because the Negaverse was difference.
And whilst it wasn't something that she would admit to out loud it had been a steep learning curve - particularly as her first mission had come in not long after her recruitment by Aurostibite.
"I don't regret my choice either" she said, because being Reinerite was giving her the chance to be so much more than just Ashley.
"And you know me too" Reinerite's lips quirked up in a slightly teasing smile "At least enough to know my name and that we share a General in common - although you can have my out of uniform name too if you want?"
And whilst she made it a question, Reinerite was being serious - because she didn't know many people from the Negaverse either.

Sarabauite's lips opened and closed twice at the prospect. Here was an offer she never expected from the other. Was such trust warranted? Aurostibite had told her to keep her civilian and powered life as two separate entities, but the benefits here seemed to outweigh the risks.
"A-are you sure?" Sarabauite said tentatively. "I don't mind if you want to, and doing the same, but you don't think... It'd compromise anything? They seemed to encourage us not to share who we are... I-I mean, as people, regular people. It'd be nice, though... To know someone beyond this, though."

Reinerite nodded "Yes I'm sure" she said because she wouldn't have offered if she didn't mean it.
And whilst Sarabauite did have a point about the need to be cautious Reinerite wasn't picking up on any other auras - or perhaps it was more accurate to say that she wasn't picking up on any new auras.
"I'm not sensing any auras" she said at last, adding "Well I'm sensing yours but I'm not picking up on anything else."Unoderi apologies once again for the delay

Sarabauite was still reluctant to reveal herself, but she relinquished such feelings with a wistful sigh. She'd honestly get no where in life if she kept pushing away such opportunities.
"I-if that's the case, I don't mind. I wouldn't want either of us getting into trouble, so..."
Pressing a hand to her chest, the Chaos energy that had infused her with strength receded and the only person that remained was plain ole Jinxi Carmen. There was always a moment of regret the captain would feel when she unhenshined; like her civilian form just couldn't compare to herself as Sarabauite.
"I'm Jinxi, Jinxi Carmen," she said, smiling. "And you are...?"

Reinerite let the chaos infused energy powering her fade away in turn, revealing a young woman garbed in a black summer dress and simple black bow choker.
A pair of green wedge heels provided a splash of colour as did the jingle of silver bracelets as she offered out her hand.
"It's nice to meet you Jinxi. I'm Ashley when I'm like this" she said with an answering smile "Ashley Williams."

There was suddenly a surge of excitement with Jinxi, and her hands latched onto Ashley's almost quicker than the eye could see. She shook the offered appendage with surprising vigor, but after catching herself, released Ashley's hand and flushed in embarrassment.
"Oh! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that—! I'm just... excited... is all! There something, um, I guess, nice? Yes, nice in knowing someone else as a civilian."
She felt the need to break the mold, but all thoughts in the back of her mind was telling her she was pushing her limits. She just met this person, would it be all right to inquire of more details? Jinxi sighed internally, skimming the surface should be fine.
"S-so, um, I'm guessing you probably do other things besides being a Negaverse agent, right?" she asked. "I have, like, hobbies and stuff, but I don't, well, most of my time is spent collecting energy, aha."

Ashley wasn't expecting the handshake to be so.. So vigorous, but Jinxi seem to catch herself after a few moments.
"It's okay" she said "It is nice." Because whilst she knew people as Ashley and others as Reinerite, there were few people who knew her as both.
Very few - as in under single hand count few.
"And yes. I'm studying at Sovereign Heights and when I'm not studying I like to run and check out dessert shops - although not simultaneously."
