Magney Forest is the largest standing nature preserve in Growto besides the Safari Zone. Its wildly varying biology in plant life makes this an almost magical place. While most trainers stick to the path that winds through from one end to the other, those that seek to explore will discover marshlands, a bamboo forest, and even a tropical forests all within the same general area.
It's said in legend that the forest was created by a legendary Pokémon in order to provide shelter and comfort to the grass type Pokémon who had been so badly impacted by the civil war between West and East Growto in ancient times, but a name has never been given to this legendary Pokémon.
