Turnip needed something to do, people to hang out with, he hadn't heard some his sisters in months and perhaps he never would. Aloe had tried to make them a family, but maybe the scars from them being left by their real parents had hurt their family more than either Turnip or Aloe had realized. So now it was time for Turnip to move on with his life, Turnip had started seeing ghosts not long ago, he wasn't sure what caused it, maybe it was letting go of some dreams he had or maybe it was just the right time for him to see what was there. Either way, he had decided to make flyers and start a ghost hunting group, not to hurt any of the ghosts, but to look for ghosts make contact, talk stuff like that. Which he mentioned in his flyer, maybe he would start a club if he got enough people interested in his idea.

Howl stood, staring at the flyer that had been put up on the notice board. She frowned some as she read it. Ghosts huh? She couldn't remember ever having an experience with a ghost before, but she did enjoy the stories, and hey who did love a spook. She reached up and looked for where the meeting would take place and when. It was a little later this afternoon it seemed. She titled her head some and pondered if she wanted to go... She needed to give Citali some space. The goblin had been helping her study and that had taken a fair amount of time. She pondered over the invites her teammates had offered her and she sighed. Parties really weren't her thing. Alright, Ghosts it would be! She added the meeting to her schedule and headed in the direction that it would be taking place. She wondered who else would be there.

Turnip sighed. no one had shown up, so he started to gather his things to head back home. He was at the door ready to leave pulling down the signs. Turnip considered going to check out an old haunted house by himself since he hadn't had any luck finding anyone to join his club. Perhaps the rest of the school just wasn't ready for a ghost hunting club. Turnip flittered his wings, or maybe ghost hunting wouldn't be his thing. Turnip was still trying to find himself and figure out who he was as a person, and at this point he just didn't know. He sighed again a little depressed.

As Howl approached the room that the meeting was being held in, her slipped one of her hands into her pocket and she let her eyes take in who was there. She didn't know the other was, though she was certain she had seen him around on the grounds. "Oh, has the meeting been cancelled?" She asked in a rather mono toned relaxed voice. Her eyes lingered on him in a half lidded state. That was a bummer, maybe there wasn't enough interest in the group so it was being cancelled. Howl's ear gave a small twitch as it swiveled to follow a sound coming from farther down the hall. She actually managed to get herself interested in this on her way here. "Or maybe.... I just have the wrong room..." She pulled out her phone and looked at the information she had added and glanced at the room again. "Is this where the ghost hunters group meeting is suppose to be?"

Turnip nodded and frowned "Yea I was going to cancel since no one else showed up, maybe I'll just see if someone would go with me to help with the tech stuff. Like cameras and science measurements." Turnip said thinking about where he could go to ask for that kind of help. "I wish others had shown up so I could make this into a real club, but it doesn't look like I'm going to have that kind of luck." Turnip said with another sigh. "I'm Turnip if you care." He said grabbing his flyer, and getting ready to leave.

Howl watched Turnip. She let her eyes glance down to his overalls and couldn't help but give a small Smirk. Turnip. "Well maybe after we start sharing stories or something... You know, getting the words out others will want to join?" She tilted her head, both hands going into her pockets. Maybe she was suppose to ask to join but that thought never crossed her mind. She was interested in this so she was now apart of it. Least that's how it was in her head. Her voice still remained in that relaxed no big deal tone. "I can help with the equipment a bit, but I'm not all that good with it. But I can learn basics." She just kept staring at him, she wasn't trying to be unnerving or annoying. She just tended to not beat around the bush. "When do we get started?"

Turnip blinked he hadn't expected the older person to be willing to help him, he figured they would laugh at his silly attempt to get a club going and leave. Instead, they offered to help him and gave him. Turnip didn't really think about this person just pretty much acting like they were the first two members. It worked for him in the tangle of thoughts in his head. Turnip smiled "I didn't catch your name.. what is it he asked??" Then he thought of other plans. "How about I find someone else to hire to run some of the equipment and then we can go to a haunted house and do a run of this??" (I figure maybe we can open a prp after this if you want and I'll use Gwen as our science geek xd )

Midnightglow18 Sounds good to me XD Howl wouldn't be to useful in that area haha Once Turnip realized that Howl wanted to join, in her not so subtle way, the grimm was nodded along with his plan. "Sounds like a plan to me. I can't wait to get into one of those houses." She let her ear give a flick as it turned back Turnip. He was clearly a little younger then her. He was probably a junior? But it sounded like he had a plan, which was more then what she offered to the group. "Names Howl. It's nice to meet you." She watched him. She hoped that they could have a lot of fun together with this. "I'll bring some snacks next time?" She questioned.

Turnip sat down and wrote down his number and a few houses that were abandoned and supposed to be haunted. He wasn't ready to tell Howl he could see ghosts, he figured he would tell her later. Turnip smiled and handed Howl his phone number, so they could stay in contact. "I'll find a tech for us and bring some snacks too." This was exciting they would be able to plan their ghost hunt. "So which house do you think we should check out first??" Turnip asked showing Howl the list of houses he had found. He wondered what she would think of his list or if she had any other suggestions.

Howl stared down at the number Turnip handed her and she pulled out her phone to enter the number, listening his scribbling. She then sent the other a text so he would have her number. "I just sent you a text." She stated tucking her back into her back pocket and then leaned forward to look at the list. She moved her hands to her hips as she looked over the addresses. "Well we could just start with the first and work our way down the list?" She asked, tilted head to the side and leaning to look at him. "Unless there is one you really want to go to first?" She was happen that Turnip was so fired up about this, that helped keep her interest in it too. Howl never thought about seeing ghosts or communicating with those that have crossed before. "Hey Turnip... I have to ask actually." She stood upright. "Well I can't say that I've ever seen a ghost before but what if I can't seen them? I mean would that mean I would have to leave the group?"

Turnip smiled looking at his phone making his first connection with another person interested in ghosts was amazing. Turnip nodded "That sounds like a good plan." Turnip shook his head "Of course I don't expect everyone to be able to see and hear ghosts." He said casually since seeing and hearing ghosts was normal for him. "Maybe someday you can train to learn to communicate with ghosts." He said in a friendly positive tone. Turnip would never kick someone out of his group for not being able to see ghosts that wouldn't be fair, just because Turnip's abilities came to him easily, didn't mean someone else couldn't learn. Besides others could be helpful in other ways, planning, looking out for the group. Setting up equipment, who knew what else when they really got this rolling. Fade to black..
