I've gotten less into collecting items as I've had an interest in minimalism lately. I tend to move around a lot/ have inconsistent housing, so having a lot of stuff is less and less appealing. But for some things, it's more important to me to have smaller collections with items I absolutely love. For those collections:
- Vinyl. I have a little cache of records, mostly metal and particularly black metal.
- Cabinet Curiosities like the OP: skulls, bones, antlers, crystals, feathers, etc. all nicely arranged in a shadow box.
- Metal lanterns with candles. I dream to someday fill my hole house with them! Sadly have had to cut back on these a lot...
- Probably the weirdest, is blue and black oranda goldfish. They're somewhat of a rarity so when I come across them, I take them home.
