Fourth of July was over and he was healed up from the events that had taken place at the end of June, he still hadn’t told Terry about it, now it was time to go to Korea! He’d told Terry what to bring, as far as clothing went. He knew what the weather would be like, unlike his poor boyfriend. Seung had even gone over to Terry’s to help him pack, and assure the others mother that he’d take care of her son. As for himself he’d packed clothing, facial products, makeup, sun block, and gifts for the family that were more common and cheaper here. Seung had packed all the things he would need while back home, and then some.
Seung had explained to his parents that Terry was a friend, the one he spent a lot of time with, and they had been helping him adjust to living in America and that they wanted to see where he came from. It wasn’t a flat out lie, Terry did want to see Korea and Terry had been helping him, he just wasn’t going to tell his parents the true nature of their relationship - they did not need to know that. They had accepted it, understanding how a helpful and caring friend would want to understand and see where a friend had come from. They understood being curious and how a person could learn from it. So they had no issue with it, they had even welcomed Terry when he’d brought the other to his apartment so they could head to the airport all together.
Two cabs were needed, due to people and luggage, which meant his parents were in the front car while himself, Terry and Eunkyung were in the second cab along with Yeong who was to first be dropped off with Terry’s parents.
In the cab he’d explained that they would be in Seoul for most of the time, since it’s where his father's parents lived. His mother's parents lived in Busan which was a fair distance away from Seoul, but was still a big city. He thought, since they’d be arriving towards early evening, that dinner out and then a city bus tour would be nice - let Terry see Seoul that way before actually hitting the streets and getting closer to experiencing Seoul. He’d thought about it, about what Terry might like and what to show him, and the idea of a tour bus had hit him rather suddenly and the idea had stuck. He’d done his research and figured it would be a good idea.
The conversation for most of the cab ride to the airport had been easy going, talking about food, places, and things to see and do. Dinner for the night, the first night, he’d leave up to Terry as he didn’t want to bring him somewhere that he wouldn’t like. They’d talk food once they arrived, then they could settle on a sort of food and find a place, it wouldn’t be hard as there were food places all over Seoul. Seung was also hoping to get some time out with his friends, he would bring Terry along as well, he just worried about the drinking he knew would go on and Terry being there for it. He knew the other had worried once, knew he would again, and he didn’t want to bring him into a situation where drinks were going to flow - as he knew they would.
Pushing that to the back of his mind, for now, he stepped out of the cab as it reached the airport and stopped at the curb. Holding a hand out for is cousin and Terry. “Eunkyung, open trunk of car.” He asked, watching her go around back to do that. Looking at Terry, smiling as he held his hand just a moment longer than friends should.
“We will be sharing a room when we arrive at grandparents. Not enough bedrooms for separate.” He explained, hoping the other would be ok with that, he didn’t think to mention that they were traditional beds...not like western beds.

Terry had been rather grateful that Seung had helped him pack what kinds of clothes he would be needing. He had never been out of the country before and if he had been he knew that climates could and would be different in different places. He had of course packed his laptop and two handheld gaming systems along with games for each so he would have something to do on the plane when he wasn’t sleeping, talking, or possibly watching the inflight movie. When he had met up with the rest of Seung’s family he had been glad for the welcome, even if he knew that his boyfriend had understandably not shared the entire truth about their relationship, and had thanked them for allowing him to come with them.
Once they were in the cabs however he listened to Seung as he gave the explanation on the area’s they would be staying in and only interrupted to asked a few questions such as how long his family had lived in the area’s and other questions along that line. Of course he took an active part in the conversation when it turned to food and more but was glad when they arrived at the airport to get the next part of their journey underway. Terry took Seung’s hand with a small smile when getting out of the car and gave it a small squeeze when the other lingered. “Sounds fine to me.” He said with a nod then moved to help grab the luggage from the trunk.

During the trip, via cab, to the airport he’d explained that his father's parents hadnot always lived in Seoul. Rather both had been born in the countryside and had started their lives in smaller villages. It was after the war which splint the country up that things had changed. When big businesses started to turn up in the big cities his grandparents had moved to Seoul. His mother's parents however had always lived in Busan.
Terry was, unsurprisingly, joining in on the conversation and asking things and adding to it - he was glad for the enthusiasm. Ideas on what to do were numerous, as there was a lot to do and see, but he had a few places in mind that he would make sure occurred.
When they arrived at the airport he got out and went to help his cousin with the luggage, his hand giving one final squeeze to Terry’s before he went to help. He was planning to sleep for most of the flight, as it would be a long one, but for now he was comfortable walking into the airport and setting about checking in and hanging over luggage and going through the metal detectors and letting his carry on be checked. It was all things he’d done before and nothing new for him.
The wait for boarding was short, thankfully, and with his own seat being in the middle seat of the middle isle Seung was ok with tilting his seat back and digging about his carry on bag for the u shaped head and neck pillow he had, putting that to use right away, as he dug out a face mask so he could avoid any unpleasant smells or spread of germs - never know who is or isn’t sick. His carry on settled finally, after being closed, at his feet which rested on top of it.

Once they were finally on the plane and settled into their seats, Terry dug out a book to read for a bit. He wasn’t tired just yet and rather than bring up any electronics it was probably safer to stick to the book for a bit, at least until they were in the air safely. That did however remind him to turn his cell phone off after sending a quick text to his Mom to tell her they were on the plane now and that he would let her know when they arrived safely to South Korea. He looked over to see Seung getting ready to sleep and gave a small smile before looking back to his book.

Watching Terry take out a book, and turn off his phone, Seung went to turn off his own phone for now. He would likely turn it back on later, so he could take selcas, he was going to sleep as long as he could though. One last thing came out of his bag, something he remember at the last minute. A blanket, something that was folded up tightly was pulle dout and unfolded. Nice and fluffy he spread it over himself and Terry. “Cold on flight.” He said, explaining why he was using it for them both.
Shifting so he was pressed against his arm rest, so he was as close to Terry as possible, he snuggled into his little pillow and yawning he let his eyes drop to half mast. Using the blanket as a nice cover, till Terry moved it about himself so he could read and the blanket didn’t cover his book, he reached for a hand to give it a squeeze.
“Flight is long…”

Terry gave the other a smile in thanks for the blanket, though he figured the reason was only half in temperature when he felt the other man take his hand.. “I don’t doubt it.” He said as he moved so he could hold the book with one hand and hold Seung’s hand under the blanket with the other. “Planning on sleeping most of it?” He asked out of curiosity. He would sleep at some point, just not now since he wasn’t tired and there would be no way he would be able to sleep the entire flight.

“As much as possible...boring flight. Movies...tooo...friendly to all. Food is good though.” Or it was, he didn’t know what they’d have on this flight. He did however know that once they got to the airport he’d be finding food, a bathroom, and wandering around perhaps before they would leave for his grandparents home in Seoul.
Stretching once he tilted his head into the side of the pillow so he was as close to Terry as he could be. “Tell me about book later?”

“Understandable then.” Terry said with a nod and a smile. Sometimes movies that were friendly for all were good, other times they practically insult everyone's intelligence with how dumbed down they were. “Want me to wake you up for food if you aren’t already awake?” When Seung asked for him to tell the other about his book later he gave a nod, not having any problem with that.
Quote:
“Yes, would be good. Long flight, don’t want to miss food.” That would not be a good idea, not with how long the flight would be. “ Looking to Terry’s other side, where his cousin sat preparing to also sleep, he informed her rather quickly that he would wake her for food. As his cousin nodded Seung was comfortable enough to snuggle up, let his eyes drift closed, and with his hand holding Terry’s he let himself drift to sleep as announcements continued and the plane got ready to take off. Seung was good at going to sleep when he wanted to, with a fair amount of ease - like now.

Terry gave Seung a smile and a nod then watched as he quickly addressed his cousin. When the other man settled down ready to fall asleep, he stroked the hand with his thumb and listened to the other passengers around them for a few minutes. It wouldn’t be long for them to be up in the air and thankfully it didn’t seem like there were any possible problem people nearby them so he turned his attention to his book, holding it with one hand so he can keep holding Seung’s hand with his other.
