Anything different, really. Well, no, not anything - nothing like scandalous or whatever, but something that would be talked about. Something to break the routine. Something that would be noticeable, in some way that her day to day life just wasn't.

The stranger on her doorstep, offering her an envelope, was therefore met with... well, maybe not open arms, but at least not outright hostility. Plenty of suspicion, but no screaming. The concealing clothes and simple, cryptic offer - "For you," he had simply stated, proffering the envelope - didn't lend her any confidence, but it definitely did pique her curiosity. Any questions she asked (what's in the envelope, who sent it, are you with some kind of local delivery service or something or wait is this some kind of advertising campaign?) were met with stony silence. Even the outstretched hand with the envelope didn't move. Actually, did any of him move? She didn't think so. That was pretty seriously creepy.

After only a moment's pause, she decided that the fastest way to get him out of her way, and hopefully out of her life, would be to simply accept his delivery. She reached out to take the envelope, and

She didn't blink. She didn't look away. She didn't black out or anything, at least she didn't think so. But the guy was gone. He didn't walk past her, he was just... gone. She stood there slack-jawed for a minute, wondering if she'd just had a flipping stroke or a hallucination or something, but. The envelope. She brought it closer to her, held it with both hands on the sides of it. The envelope was real, so the guy had to have been there, right? But he couldn't have been if he just... disappeared like that. People don't just vanish into thin air. That's not a thing that people do.

With a groaning sigh, Bri opened the front door. This wasn't the kind of different she'd been hoping for.
