"Gomie City"
Connecting Land Routes:
► Fugue Town
◄ Dronia City
Gomie City sits at the far southern edge of Magney Forest, along its marshy expanse. Founded by a coalition of both the native and foreign peoples who sought to avoid the civil war, this City was just lucky enough to be one of the very few to escape the blood shed. It held no tactical or resource value, but near the end was used as an example by which both sides should live by. People whose families had fought one another lived in harmony with one another and the native Pokémon. Without the city, it's said the war may very well have ended very differently.
The gym leader, Mary, is a native of the Kalos Region, but moved to the Growto Region with her husband Yoonty. Both were offered gym leader positions and were lucky enough to be placed in the neighboring towns of Honeygust Town and Gomie City. Yoonty became the Gym Leader of Honeygust Town and specialized in Bug type Pokémon, and his wife chose to specialize in Grass types. Mary can be a stern women sometimes, but always has the best of intentions at heart.
