Blaze sat just inside the door of his tent, finishing his lunch. It wasn't often that the alpha got a moment to himself, with overseeing the training for the pups who had come of age to join the hunters if the wanted to, as well as listening to his mother, Sara, teaching them to read and write. He liked to listen to his mother telling the pups stories about their ancestors, and how they fought to keep their freedoms, rather than letting themselves be enslaved by humans. Jasper, his beta and best friend, made sure the camp was well guarded at night, and organized the hunting parties each day. Blaze and Jasper had known each other for the last 150 years, since Blaze had left the pack to find followers to help him defeat his father, Ironfist. After the battle, Blaze had taken over as alpha, and the pack was flourishing under his leadership. The only thing that remained was to find a suitable alpha female, one that was neither too aggressive nor too docile.

May was not fond of any attention from the other wolves in the pack. While most of it was due to her strange white fur and red eyes, the fact that she spent most of her time avoiding any type of conversation added to their suspicions. The Pack healer was her adoptive mother, and the only woman who she conversed with. Ana found her wondering deep in the forest one day while gathering herbs and flowers for her remedies. May was badly hurt and lost, too weak to fight Ana's loving embrace, May let this woman care for her. It took many years to May to trust her and even longer for her to speak to her. After a time May grew to rely on her, finding comfort in Ana's presence. She was May's protection, her comfort in this world and mentor. She had been with this pack only 5 years, and while young her eyes spoke of many things seen that should not have been seen. It was uncommon to find an Albino wolf and in most cases they were cast out. Many even saw her pale skin and lack of color an omen to the pack, eluding to bad times and devastating loss. So, when the hushed sounds of unkind words drifted into May's ears she pushed them off. She was not willing to spoil her good mood by superstitious words from people who did not understand. She slowed her walk as she passed the Alpha's Tent catching a glimpse of Blaze inside. She didnt know how Ana was able to get the alpha to let her stay, but she kept her head low and didn't wish to push her luck. She gripped the strap of the bag over her shoulder slightly and adjusted it on her shoulder as she attempted to refocus her mind on getting the herbs to Ana. As she took a step forward to continue on her way, she accidentally bumped into another pack member. "Oh my goodness." She said dropping her bag to the ground with the impact. "I-I'm sorry." She stuttered before quickly biting her lip. The man looked down at her with a heavy frown, instantly she lowered her head in submission. He didn't need to say anything for her respond in such a way. While being under the care of the pack healer, she didn't exactly hold a high rank. But there was a look in his eyes that she had seen many times before, fear mixed with hate. She took a step back and gathered her bag as he walked away from her with a huff. May let out a sigh and straightened herself, relieved it was not like her last encounter. She sighed again before Looking toward the Alpha's tent again just for a moment before turning back toward the healers tent. ((I'm making slight changes to her bio so that it fits with this world you created. ^u^ things will flow better that way haha Also new drawing of may's wolf form coming. wink ))

Blaze finished his lunch and left his tent, going to find his mother and see how the pups were coming along with their training. He could smell that May had returned, and he could smell the herbs she carried with her. He found his mother in her tent, surrounded by pups, and he smiled as he stood in the doorway of the tent, listening to Sara speak. He knew May was an albino, and that many of the pack feared or hated her because of this. To many of the pack, an albino wolf was a bad omen, a sign that calamity would befall the pack. Personally, Blaze had never held with such superstitions. He remembered that Ana, the pack healer, had found May hurt and lost while gathering herbs one day, and Blaze had been intrigued by the young she-wolf from the start. He knew that with the exception of Ana, May was afraid of the rest of the pack, himself included. He hadn't done much do draw May's attention to himself, and vice versa. He had just left his mother's tent and gone to find Jasper to see how the hunts were going when he heard May's voice, along with what sounded like her bag of herbs hitting the ground. Apparently, she'd bumped into another pack member, and he could smell her fear. He was about to intervene when he heard the male huff and start walking away, followed by May's sigh. He didn't know if she could see him from where he stood, but he decided not to bother her, instead letting her walk to Ana's tent.

The smell of tea filled May's nose as she entered Ana's tent, and a smile washed away any woes or fears she had. "Ana" she said calling to the woman sitting by the kettle. "I found the herbs you wanted, they were hard to find but I finally found them." She quickly hung up her bag and pulled the strange flowers from her bag. "There was a bear guarding the stash of Lavender, It took some convincing but I finally got it to let me by." She chuckled lightly. It was soft like the sound of wind through a willow. It was a side to her that she didnt share with anyone but Ana. "Did you convince him or trade for some of those Blueberries I sent you with." Ana's voice came with a smile that was not visible to May. May's shoulders lifted slightly as if she got caught. She quickly brought the herbs to Ana. Suddenly stopping. "Oh no." She gently covered her face. "The Peppermint is missing, I must have dropped it outside when I bumped into-" May sighed and looked back toward the opening to their tent. "I-I'll be right back, I have to go get it from the grass where I dropped it." She stood moved back outside. She squinted as the light hit her eyes and waited a second for her eyes to refocus. She immediately went to looking on the ground for the peppermint she dropped.

Blaze waited until he heard May moving away, then moved toward the edge of the camp, intending to sit down just outside the camp, as he often did. As he made his way toward the edge of the camp, he smelled peppermint, and he paused, then bent down and picked up a few peppermint plants from the grass where he assumed May had dropped her bag of herbs. He figured the she-wolf would come looking for it, and he decided to wait for her. It didn't take long for him to smell her coming, and he kept silent, waiting for her to approach so that he could give her the peppermint.

May retraced her steps and moved quietly keeping her eyes on the ground to try and spot the small leaves. She came to a halt just steps away from The alpha, and from what she could see he was holding her peppermint leaves. She hesitated, not feeling it was her place to approach the alpha. She looked from his face to the leaves in his hands. With a gentle breath, she prayed for courage as she lifted her voice from the depths of her chest. "Good afternoon," She said lifting herself slightly. She looked at him, for the first time she saw something other than a glimpse and she shifted slightly uneasy suddenly. Her voice stopped in her throat, seeing the stares from eyes just yards away. She had never approached the alpha before, she couldn't imagine what thoughts were running through everyones minds. She lifted her head deciding to ask for her the peppermint after much hesitation. "I" she started, "I must have dropped that earlier." She said smiling slightly, hiding her fear. "I tend to do that."

Blaze smiled slightly when May got closer, and he could tell that she was nervous about him standing there. "Good afternoon to you, as well, May," he said, offering her a friendly smile. He could smell the she-wolf's fear. "There's no need to be afraid, May," he said, his voice gentle. "I won't hurt you. But I do believe these are yours." He held the peppermint leaves out to her, waiting to see how she would react.

May watched him for a moment before gently taking the peppermint leaves. She didnt know what she expected but she could feel her uneasiness slowly vanish. There was something very welcoming in his voice that encouraged her to linger. "Thank you, Ana, Likes to use them in her tea." She shifted slightly on her feet. "You have done me a great service, I probably would be looking for an hour before I could find them." She held them gently in her hands, it was also her favorite herb one among many.

Blaze waited until May had taken the peppermint leaves before letting his hands drop to his sides, and he nodded when she thanked him. "You're welcome," he said. "I was able to smell the leaves, and I picked them up before anyone stepped on them."

May smiled "Then my gratitude is multiplied." She hesitated a moment. "What can I do to repay your kindness." She said suddenly feeling foolish for asking a question of the sort, They were just silly leaves. She found herself fidgeting slightly, the hairs on the back of her head raising as she realized she was being watched carefully. She took a step back to be sure to keep her distance. She was not a danger to him, but others thought she did.

Blaze smiled when May spoke. "Just keep taking care of our healer," he said. He could feel the eyes of some of the pack watching the two of them, and he resolved to put their fears to rest, and soon. He didn't like it that most of the pack, with the exception of himself, Ana, Sara, and some of the elders, were so superstitious.

May nodded lightly and took another step back. "I suppose I should get going, Ana will probably want her peppermint." She glanced away and dipped her head again. "Thank you again for your kindness." She scurried away quickly and ducked into healers tent. She quickly handed off the peppermint to Ana. "May, my moon beam, What has you so frazzled." The black haired woman said. "I havent seen you like this in a while." She smiled as she poured the tea from the kettle. May began to mess with her silver hair, "The Alpha had the Peppermint, I wasnt prepared to talk to him."Ana handed her the tea and smirked, "It was bound to happen eventually."She sat down gently and tapped the pillow next to her. May sat down. "Alpha Blaze is a good alpha He is one of the reasons you are able to stay here." Ana smiled and handed her a book on healing spells. "When you are Pack Healer you will have to regularly converse with the Alpha and other elders." May sipped her tea and thumbed though the book, She wasnt sure how she felt about that but she kept her opinions to herself.

Blaze nodded when May said that she should probably get going, and that Ana would want her peppermint. "You're welcome, May," he said. As she walked away, he sensed that she hadn't been prepared for their meeting, and he didn't blame her for reacting the way she had. If he had been in her position, he was sure he would have reacted the same way. He smiled to himself, then resumed his walk toward the edge of the camp, sitting down just outside the border of the group of tents.

It wasn't long before the sun lowered and the evening meals came May lingered by their tent opening, she watched as Ana joined the others for the evening meal. May liked to stay away finding peace just watching the pack converse. She watched as Ana wonder throughout the pack, and chose that moment to slip out of the tent and into the forest. While she was not the best at hiding, with her pale skin, this was the one time she could see the clearest. May would sneak out from time to time despite Ana's protest, finding peace in her solitude. She pulled a hood over her silver hair to keep from being seen too well in the dark.

Blaze sat outside the camp for an hour or two before he smelled the evening meal being served, and he rose and joined the rest of the pack to eat. He noticed that May had disappeared, and he figured she'd probably gone into the forest, like she often did of an evening. He ate his meal in silence, then resumed his place on the outside of the camp. He could often be found here at any time of the day or night, meditating.
