The facility loomed all around her, silent and empty. Hemera could hear nothing besides her panting breaths and her boots hit the flooring beneath her. Odd, since only seconds before she had heard a cluster of sounds. Not a one-off item falling or the like. Not unless an idiot drone stacked items up ridiculously so then once one thing tilted, everything went down.
But they couldn't be that incompetent.
She skidded to a halt as she entered the block. She caught sight of another troll, plain as night, sitting idly by another raiding mess. Such demeanor made Mera do a double-take. This troll was aware of the mess all around, right?
Assessment: a highblood, odd to see here. The only blueblood she had seen was Leeroi. Any others would have immediately stuck in her thinkpan. On top of that, the troll was not wearing a standard-issue Chittentown uniform. Putting two and two together, she frowned at the intruder.
"I don't know what you think you're doing, but you better leave the premises before I call security."

There it was. Someone was running right over. Eostre was eager to get a chance to really fight with someone. There weren't always great places where she could get a brawl without picking fights with random strangers on the streets (although, that was sort of what she was doing here, wasn't it?). She looked down and saw her new opponent. A tealblood, kind of... dorky looking. She didn't know too many kids with glasses. Actually, wasn't she one of the kids who were at the royalist ball? She seemed familiar in that way, like someone she saw a while ago. "No need to do that," Eostre said, hopping down from the boxes, and smoothing out the front of her jumpsuit casually. "We can settle this ourselves. Has security ever been effective anyway?" She rolled her eyes. She would be able to walk all the way back to Civisect's facilities before security even came. "It'll be more fun if we fought. This is a raid, not pansy wriggler vandalism time,"she said, stepping closer to the tealblood. She lifted her fists lightly. "Don't you want to get your pumpbiscuit thumping? Don't you want to defend yourself?"She swung out her fist against the other girl, wanting to kickstart the battle. HP: 20/20 Damage: 0 Gl!tch~ are you going to stand there and take it, hemera (hopefully this is good enough lmao i kno its a lil lame)

HP: 20/20 DMG: 2 The other troll, mysterious yet familiar-ish as they were, had a point about security, unfortunately. The blueblood had an inkling of how it worked, or else was a great at bluffing.
"Fun," Hemera echoed with a frown. "What you call 'fun' is damages upon damages! We just fixed up the facilities from the last time we were raided. I'm not going to combat someone from the opposite team just because they want to." Higher blood or not. Mera held onto some amount of dignity, despite performing a raid herself.
That, however, was purely business.
"I'll defend myself, but I refuse to engage otherwise." Hemera said. Her response to Eostre's little punch was to push her back. Mera then grabbed her walkie talkie and tried to find a useful channel; it was usually tuned to the one shared with her Civisect team mates.

HP: 18/20 Damage: 1 Eostre felt a bit deflated by the rebuff, but her expression wouldn't betray the thought. What kind of troll doesn't want to do anything, and after she'd gone through the trouble of stirring up attention to get someone she could fight. She restrained from rolling her eyes again. The raid, while entertaining itself, wasn't the fun she was referring to. She was talking about the thrill of a fight! Wasn't it obvious? Still... the time it would take security to come... She could get in a quick fight, even if this girl wouldn't really fight beside to defend herself. Lame. You take what you can get in life, or you miss out, though. Isn't that just the way? "Well then, I suppose you better call security, and defend yourself in the mean time," she said simply, almost shrugging, and punched the tealblood in the face. Maybe she'd knock some sense into her. HP: 19/20 DMG: 5 Power: 1/1 There wasn't any time to react to Eostre's comments. The blueblood's fist slammed into Mera's cheek. Fortunately, her glasses were left untouched. Without even thinking, Hemera's first response was to shove Eostre away from her. It was a hard one, and after Mera had to take a moment to reel back. Her fingers went to the wound. Likely wouldn't leave a bruise, but perhaps she was in shock at how quickly this turned violent.
In her other hand, she prepared her radio. Hopefully one of the few others on her team had one, and on, to respond accordingly. "We've had a breach in the processing facilities. Back up requested."

HP: 13/20 Damage: 3 Eostre grinned, finally getting a response from the tealblood. She was already on the radio, before she could stop her. But there was enough time to get some more fight out of this troll before they would arrive. Besides, she could call back up of her own. "That's better! Let's see how far we can get before your security arrives, why don't we?" Eostre tilted her head, her tone sweet as though she asked Hemera to dance, rather than tried to instigate a fight. Without much more hesitation, she attacked again, aiming for the tealblood's torso. Fight back, or get beaten! Gl!tch~ this is what she was hopin for!! hey what up heres a tag

HP: 17/20 Defense power: 1/1 Socked in the stomach. "Oof!" Mera reeled back. She'd get beaten to a pulp at this rate. Had to keep her distance...
The tealblood had caught herself on some broken machinery. Well, it was already ruined. With that in mind, she pulled one down between them, without so much as the intent for Eostre to be caught under it as it was to put a barrier between Eos's fist and Mera's general person.

HP: 11/20 Damage: 2 She had to take a step back to try and avoid the machinery, frowning when she realized what the tealblood was doing. Eostre stamped a foot, agitated. "You can't just avoid me the whole time," she hissed. She clambered around the machinery between them, getting back to Hemera as soon as she could. "I won't stop until you fight back," she said, narrowing her eyes. She reached for Hemera and hooked her fist at the girl. Gl!tch~ instigate fights, get a** kicked

HP: 15/20 Defense power: 1/1 She took a few steps back, but the fists kept coming her way. Mera had to protect herself. She pulled out her boomerang-pick and held it out in a way that would protect her arm and point outward, perhaps giving Eostre a second thought about swinging at her.
"Picking fights when there's work to be done. I respectfully question your priorities."

HP: 8/20 Damage: 4 "My priorities are none of your business, I would say," Eostre said, hesitating to hit Hemera again while she had a weapon out. Waiting to see if she'd use it. When it didn't seem like she'd get her to fight that way, Eostre decided to change tactics. She slammed against the tealblood with her full weight, to pin her by the shoulders with her arms. She'd have to give her no choice. "I question what kind of troll you are that you won't defend yourself."Gl!tch~ eostre, sis, don't play me like this, let this girl use her cool powers also hope this is cooool, eostre tries to corner hemera to.... make her feel like punching her back? eos why are you like this

HP: 11/20 DMG: 3 Defense power: 1/1 Mera grunted in shocked pain as she was pinned down. Her ice hadn't gone up fast enough to shield her. Unfortunate. This blueblood was certainly eager for a fight. But why? "What kind of troll I am is none of your business."
She lashed out with her boomerang, sharp end out, to at least try to get Eos off of her.

HP: 5/20 Damage: 0 Eostre smiled as her own words were used against her. So she was like that, huh? As the weapon was brandished, she hesitated just too long and the bladed end brushed against her skin. She could fight, if she just tried, so why wouldn't she? If she could just find a way to provoke her... The blueblood let go. "So is that it then, you absolutely refuse to fight me? A shame." Her voice was harsh, and she turned away from the tealblood. With a quick arc of her arm, she lunged back toward her as if to hit her across the face. If nothing else, Eostre could try one last time to get her to attack. Surely something, some need to defend herself against an opponent, to stop her, to get her away... Gl!tch~ you tried eostre... probs gonna lose this fite tho TWENTY YEARS LATER HEY

HP: 11/20 Mera loosened her stance the tiniest bit before Eos went at her again. She should have known. Well, she guessed that maybe this would happen, but- her guard did come down enough. She let out a surprised sound despite herself, and her boomerang went back up, lashing out fast and hard out of pure reflex. Hemera didn't like to fight, but she would never let her person be directly threatened. If nothing else, her body certainly wouldn't.
Not until moments after did she realize what she did. Conned into it, out of a pure desire to survive. Highbloods...always got what they wanted, didn't they?

HP: 0/20 The blade slashed her much harder than before, leaving a welling cut on her arm. It worked, she got the tealblood to fight her. Blue soaked into the fabric of her uniform, and Eostre put her other hand on it idly, pressing down over it.. Maybe it worked a little too well, as her arm ached and pulsed with pain. She'd tried so hard to even get this attack, all her adrenaline had faded. And the alarm still sounded, the distant sounds of security closing in. Not that she'd really get in any trouble, once she flashed her credentials. But still. She was aiming to not leave a mark, any noticeable, traceable evidence she was the sort to do this. And besides, if getting anything out of this tealblood was this much effort, she didn't want to bother any longer. The fun had been sapped out of this encounter. She stepped away from the other girl, smiling pleasantly. "Great work, you got me pretty good there," Eostre said, winking at her. "It was good to meet you. Hope we meet again in a bit more... favorable circumstances, next time, hm?"Gl!tch~ and we're all good! unless you want hemera to respond once more
