Painted Moose pick a town any town! Ray took his daughter out with him shopping in any town Riona was sitting huffily off to the side of the marketplace miffed at her plans being thwarted. She had finally saved up enough money from her chores and being good to buy her own tools! Except no one would sell them to her! And she knew for a fact daddy wouldn't buy them for her. He thought she was too little for them! Which she was, but RIona wanted her wood carving tools so she could carve what ever she wanted without having daddy hovering worriedly over her shoulders. It's not like I've hurt myself too badly yet! She thought with a pout as she waited for her father to finish his purchases. She'd hoped here in a town other than her home she'd be able to convince the merchants to let her buy them; but noooo they were just like all adults! Saying she was too little when she had the money to buy it! Why wont they let greed get int he way and just let me buy them? The mostly shifter hybrid girl sighed and looked at her small purse shaped like a fat spitrog. It was full to the brim and she couldn't spend any of it! Unless she wanted toys or candy which she didn't! I bet if I wasn't so short I'd be able to buy them....

From the perch of a crooked finger, Ujana's coin purse swung around and round. It cut through the air like a rotating saw blade, forming a blur of red and golden silk at her side. Every so often the moments would come to a slow, easy halt, but with one mighty flick of her wrist the pouch would rotate once more.
Ujana was here for a purpose, and the weight of her coin purse affirmed it. While she planned on building an establishment in Tale, everyone with half a brain knew the best lumber came from Jauhar. She would need to make her connections early, place a few orders here and there, just to have everything ready once she needed it. At the moment Ujana carried the entirety of her savings; years of working in Medina's coupled with prize earnings had carried her this far. Hopefully, it would get her far enough before she needed to see out investors.
Her crystalline gaze caught sight of a little shifter kid, no doubt out shopping as well. She was cute enough, but there was something off about her..."Hey kid, cute purse."

Painted Moose small tag is small sorry ^^; trying to stop lazying around and actually tag things but the muses are so freaking quiet. Riona jumped slightly at the voice. She hadn't noticed anyone approaching as she mused what to do. Her eyes zipped up to look at the much taller female; "Green!" She chirped in surprise. She hadn't seen anyone with green hair before.. "Oh! Whoops." She giggled. "Sorry; that was rude wasn't it?" She wrinkled her nose and waved her ful purse. "Thanks; daddy got it for me! I like spitrogs, their funny."

Jumpy little thing. Was it just a shifter thing or was she normally that skiddish? Ujana wasn't so sure. She'd been raised around too many races to pinpoint anything as a 'trait' so she just assumed it was unique to this little one.
"Green?" For a moment she didn't catch on, but when she followed the girls gaze, Ujana reached a hand up to touch her hair and laughed. "Good eye. It's hair dye; I bet you'd look pretty cute with some of your own." After all, she and her sister couldn't be the only ones dying their hair. Why couldn't the little one give it a shot as well? Maybe when she was a little older, though; getting hair that dark to be a brighter color would take some time.
And that's what it was! The hair! The hair was what had been off about her the entire time. Alkidike. Not that it mattered to her; heck, half of her family were alkidike mixes. "They are funny. When I was a kid I would use them to scare the sisters. Alkidike sisters, mind you. You've never seen anything until you've seen one of them jump up because she found a spitorog in her bag!" Ujana grinned. "Do you have one as a pet, or are you just a fan? Also, maybe don't wave your bag in front of strangers; I'm not gonna do it, but someone a lot meaner than me would have taken it and ran by now."

Painted Moose I am so sorry for the wait! Her eyes lit up; "You can make your hair other colors! And it stays?" Dad would be sooooo mad... worth it though! But what color... her mind explored some possibilities before she pulled it back to pay attention to the tall earthling in front of her. "Ehehe! I bet they did jump! I love spitrogs! They're cute and funny and awesomely colored. " She hid her bag with an eep. That was a good idea; best not to lose her money before she spent it. "I don't have any 'rogs... we got lotsa big critters at home though! Mom's a trainer. I want a small critter... Dad's roati is about as small as they get... my parents like big beasties...." She pouted slightly before smiling and offering her hand to the stranger; "I'm Riona!

Ujana laughed, "Well yeah, if you have enough dye." To her it was something akin to a labor of love. To keep her hair that shade of green she had to constantly maintain it, which was sometimes very annoying but Ujana had become used to it by now. It kept her closer to her sister, which was more important than any minor inconvenience.
"Big beasties, huh? Have you ever seen a Quhar? They're the biggest I've seen, but I haven't been far." Having that many creatures at home would be interesting, especially if her mother was a trainer. Ujana herself didn't have the patience for creatures; something she picked up from her father.
"It's nice meeting you, Riona. My name's Ujana." He reached down to take the little girls hand, but instead of shaking it and letting go she held it in a loose grip. "Are you lost?"
