"I'd love if you joined me Azure and Nashira! The more the merrier!" There was someone else Patches wanted to make sure she was searching with though. She looked through the crowd, now in search of her Nixie friend and when she did spot her she waved her on over. "Let's look together Mahuyah!" And with that she set off into the darkness with her flashlight in hand. She took a quick sniff at the trinket Tomoe had offered to help them search for one of the kids. It was too bad he didn't have anything that belonged to the other one.
She wasn't quite sure where to start, so she just started wandering ay the first direction she could think, an area where she didn't see too many others looking to begin with. This had turned out sort of exciting, but she was worried about what this new...race of individuals would think of their appearance in their forest. She was really hoping the kids would be the only thing they'd find in the forest.

It seemed the direction she was heading in wasn't exactly the right one. She wasn't catching any of Naoki's scent at this point, of course that didn't mean the other little one wasn't out here somewhere. She continued on for some time, flashing her light inside of the trees and low on the ground. Could they climb well? There wasn't really anything that she knew about this race so for all they knew they were great at climbing or getting into tight spaces. It seemed like Tomoe often had his hand full with them...Poor guy. Well, hopefully they'd turn up soon. Maybe the other groups were having more luck? Should she be calling out for them? She had a feeling that if they were tricksters they would just run away at the sound of someone calling their name...

Just how good were this kids at hiding? Weren't they afraid of the dark? At this point she was a little concerned that she might have over looked them as she wandered around. It didn't feel like they were really getting anywhere with the search. At some point she had even started to look in the bushes. Could they be hiding inside of one of the bigger ones? Kids tended to have very little fear when it came to bugs at the sorts, so who knew what they could have gotten into to find a good hiding spot.

Patches was about ready to give up, she glanced back towards the green light that signaled where Claire and Tomoe were waiting for everyone to return. Maybe the kids had been found already by the other groups? They should have decided on some sort of signal for that. Alas, she continued to wandering around peeking behind trees and bushes. She scared off the occasional critter, but after having her scare earlier she was a little more harded toward sudden movements.

Patches was seriously considering giving up at this point. Just how big of a forest was this anyway? She was starting to get worried that the kids had wandered outside of the area that was usually contained by the barrier. If they were kept inside their whole lives, than what did they know about the outside world? She was concerned that they would get into something that they both would regret given time. She tried calling out, despite originally thinking it was a bad idea. "Naoki? Meimu? We're worried for you. please come out?" She tried sniffing the air, trying to catch any scent that smelled similar to the one from the trinket earlier. This way? She wandered off in a new direction then.

At this point Patches was wondering if she needed to be climbing trees herself to find these children. It was just so very dark outside that she wasn't sure flashing her lights into the trees was enough to spot them if they were up there. Hadn't Tomoe said one of the children was more of a gray color? Meimu she believed as the name of that one and they could easily be hiding out in this darkness somewhere. If she were a kid, where could she hide from her parents? There had been a forest around where she'd spent some of her younger years as well. She had love to find holes in logs and tree to hide in when she was small enough. She started crouching down than to check in the turned over logs for anything hiding inside, she as praying not to wake up some nasty critter.

As Patches was starting to rustle through a bush she heard a sounds not too far off. She was fairly certain it wasn't made by one of her fellow search party members. It had sounded like something running off because she had revealed herself. "If that's you Naoki or Meimu please come back! I'm not trying to hurt you. Promise!" Here she was, some strange Nightmare they'd never met before, why should they trust her? Maybe she needed to be a little more sneaky with her searches. If she tried really hard to be quiet enough maybe she could sneak up on one, and hope she didn't scare the poor thing to death....

Patches was trying her best to remain as quiet as possible now, occasionally sniffing the air for any scent that she could find that smelled different from what she was used to. She figured these kids likely played in this forest often, or at leats must have been around recently. She kept catching wiffs of Naoki's scent in the air when a breeze would drift on lazily by. If only she could really pinpoint where the little...Daydream was. They were Daydreams right? Since they were in Above they had to be Daydreams. But Tomoe's tails had been so pretty and those big ears...! She had so many questions for him, but first they had to find the kids!

Patches was basically crawling around on all fours trying to find these kids at this point. Just how small were they anyway? Did they have any sort of shape shifting powers the way grown Grimm did? Of course as kids they probably couldn't control it, but we were talking about a newly discovered race here. She was wondering if they'd continue to stay hidden now that the barrier had allowed people into their home. Would they try to convince everyone to keep what they had seen a secret? Would everyone on the tour keep their word? There was no way these people would probably trust them with something like this...oh what a mess....She hoped Tomoe wouldn't get into too much trouble.

Patches was about to climb a tree to see if she could get any sightings that way, but than it could be pretty hard to climb in the dark. Just as she reached up to grab a hold of one of the branches above her there was some rustling and she heard a hoot and then the sound of the animal flying away. Well there went her stealth mode. She also felt bad fore disrupting the animals attempt at just chilling in it's tree. Oops. Well, if a child had been close by they had probably scurried off by now. She had a pretty good feeling she wasn't going to be the one bringing a kid back with her to the lantern.

Azure Came out of the darkness pulling thorns off his sweater shirt when he noticed that he heard a famillure voice, He had gotten lost in the bustle of everyone running off to find the kids and ended up joining another group, but in the mist of encountering one of the children he had gotten lost and tricked, because the child had used magic to summon thorns in his path witch he had flown in to not expecting it. His wings were covered in thorns but he was unhurt. he called out as he broke threw the darkness seeing patches " hey! sorry it seems like we got separated. " went to join another group when i got separated from you, did you see Meimu. he ran this way when i fallowed him" he asked as he pulled off more thorny vines.Leopleuradon (I finished the rpof the one i joined last night so now i can pop in here >w<)

Patches froze when she heard the sound of someone approaching her. She crouched down low just in case it was one of the kids, ready to scoop them up if they happened to cross her path. As it just so happened it was Azure who popped out of the darkness and into her path. She was a little disappointed it wasn't one of the kids, but another person helping them to look around wouldn't be such a bad thing at all!
"They might have run by, it's so dark and there are all sorts of critters running around..." She sighed, it was probably just her luck that one of them would run right by her and she wouldn't notice them at all. What a hassle this was turning in to....

"Danm I guess if we stick around this area we might see them again" he said as he proceeded to help patches look, but first he flew up in to the air like he did before as he shined the light down on the ground like a spot light while h began to search for the children once more. " Don't worry I'm sure they will pop up if all else fails we can put out snacks right? " he said wondering if that would work. while flying aroud the areas staying with in view of patches while he helped her look

"Right, hopefully they are around here somewhere!" Patches nodded and watched as Azure flew into the sky to look from above. Ooo, that was very helpful! She hadn't thought about doing something like that, but then again she didn't have the wings to do it either. The snack idea was a good one though and she juuuust so happened to have some yummy gummy treats (and others...) in her bag. She rummaged around in it and pulled them out.
"I have some gummy bears! You must be hungry by now. It's way past dinner time." Well, she hoped it was past dinner time for them. Tomoe said they had been missing for a long time by now. Surely their tummies were starting to rumble at this point.

 Wondering through the forest by yourself was probably a bad idea. Callixtus sighed softly to himself. Everyone had taken off in various directions before he had much time to react. When he had said that he thought it was a good idea to break up and search, he didn't mean that he had wanted to be left behind! He grumbled as he lifted his lamp, looking in bushes and trees as he walked through the dark foliage. He still ached from his bee stings and it felt like the pain killer she had taken earlier were wearing off. This trip was probably a bad idea to begin with. He sighed again. Luckily, he heard a few sounds ahead of him they didn't sound like children but joining up with a group was probably a good thing. He smiled as he approached them, recognizing some of them from the "power squad". "Hey. Mind if I join you?"
