-----┋♠♠Persona___ ♠

Personality -- ●○● Xia is innocent, curious, saintly, extremely timid and clumsy. She is so clumsy that her fellow priestesses were always wary to be around her. Xia, despite her many faults, was severely devoted, not only to her deity, but to all around her. Xia could be counted on for almost anything, and her had a voice that was uplifting and soothing. Only after falling for her solar deity (Helios, who visited her a night in her dreams), did Xia become fierce and defensive towards others.

Biography -- ●○● Xia's parentage is currently unknown as shortly after she was born she was found on the steps of the Temple of the Sun God (for Apollo) with golden skin. She was named after the holy woman, Xenia, who had come from a different land. Xenia stated that "Xia" meant 'glow of the sun' in her native tongue, but pronounced it in the language of Xia's people, meaning 'welcoming.' Raising her along with all the other orphans, Xenia had a special place in her heart for Xia, foreseeing the child to have a great "gift." When Xia was 10, her "sight," the great "gift" her master had foreseen, began to take root. Lycus, the ruler of Xia's small city, saw the potential in the girl and sought to force his desires onto her, however, Xia remained under Xenia's fierce protection. When Xia was 14, Xenia tragically passed and Lycus reached his claws to steal her; while she would continue to work in the temple, she was constantly summoned to Lycus' grand home. Around this time, Xia began praying fiercely to Apollo, but it was not he who heard her call: it was Helios, the god that drove the sun around the world. Helios began meeting with Xia in her visions and dreams until the pair fell for each other. By the time Xia was 16, she was madly in love with the god, but her devotion did not please Lycus, and when he forbade her to stay at the temple, and tried to move her to him home. Darkness fell upon the world as Helios stepped from his duty to meet Lycus and Xia in human flesh. Killing the king, Helios stole Xia from her homeland, and without the young priestess to watch over it, the temple (and thus the city) fell to ruin.
