After falling into the portal, Amias and Damian were greeted by a grim sight. Knowing Kala as an entity large and expansive, like the universe itself, the pair could have expected a space full of all kinds of energy and creations. However, what they were greeted with was...much less overwhelming.
"This...is Kala's domain?" Amias said, dumbfounded as he took his first step in the plane. Bland. Lifeless. These were the words that came to mind when he first gazed upon the domain of his mother. He could also sense something within the space; something malicious. Whatever it was, it was likely that this was the cause of their suffering. Like most typical depictions of hell, there was fire, lava, and stone. Little more than that, but that wasn't what disturbed him so. The lava wasn't really that bright, the fires barely illuminating any part of the corridors they would have to travel through. The demon was absolutely certain they'd landed in the right place, but it was almost like this wasn't even hell.
"There's definitely something off, about the entire plane. I can't speak as though I've been here before, but I most certainly don't feel welcome in my own home right now." The man proceeded with caution, each step gauging the surface they were walking on; with lava around, there was no telling whether or not they would have to simply resort to flight to travel around the plane. Ultimately, it was their purpose to free Kala and Makath from whatever was binding them, and be done with this nonsense for good. "Well, new friend...do you have any ideas on where to start looking?" The plane they were in--a well-guarded secret of hell--was expansive. While nowhere near as large a country, it was at the very least as large as Luimira. This would be a difficult search in new territory.

TABTAB Damian crossed his arms as he could feel what Amias probably felt. This world felt.... Uninspired, devoid of emotion. It was... Boring. A farcry from the nightmare stories of fire and brimstone of a fantastical nature. It reminded him of the isolated place he was dragged into not but days before in the fight against Elessia. "Kinda makes sense though. If Kala has been restrained, then her influence would be hindered as well. I thought that gods and goddess directly influence their realm of control." It made sense in a way. The way Lilith had easily manipulated his dreams as she desired, it was a sight to behold. Thinking on if she had been restrained by some power made him wonder as to how their meeting would have differed.
TABTAB"She led us here. Did she give you anything? If not she would have left a trail for us. I don't want to think on having to do thing completely blind. More hassle than it's worth then." He grunted, but did continue to think. What if he were a powerful being seeking to have chosen people jailbreak him? What would he do in that situation? "Best bet is to locate the largest energy source of the plane. That's probably where she's kept. Would take a massively powerful prison to hold her." He turned to Amias. "Any thoughts on where that would be or are we just picking a random direction and walking?"

Taking Damian's opinion into consideration, Amias would quickly make use of his ability to detect energy and disturbances, projecting his electromagnetic energy into the plane. It didn't take long before he'd found what they were looking for, hopefully. "I'm detecting a large obtrusion of energy in the northeast end of the plane. Judging by where we are now, I'd say we could be there in less than an hour on foot." Without hesitating, Amias started in the direction of this disturbance, still completely unaware of the masked presence that had been following behind them this whole time. It was unfortunate, but even now, Baal's corpse was laid out on the ground of the Akasun Estate, the portal already closed; their path of escape was ruined. With that as a signal to the real power of the entity that followed them, it would be best for the pair to make this journey as short and sweet as possible, as neither of them truly possessed the means of detecting what was now coming after them.
"If you have the ability to fly, we can always get there much more quickly. But I don't think I've ever seen a dreadnought fly, so you'd be the first one in my time." And for Amias, that was quite a long time; being a Pagan god once, he'd been alive since the recreation of Axiom, and was at one point the strongest pagan alive. "So otherwise, we'll have to--" Behind them, there was a tremendous crash. Amias spun his head around to see a massive torrent of lava pouring out of the wall towards them, forcing an immediate response. Taking off into the air, Amias quickly maneuvered out of the spraying range of the lava before attempting to close the hole using electromagnetic energy to force the rocks together, but it wasn't any use. Taking a closer look at the hole, his Sight was able to see a very powerful energy signature within the lava. And it was pouring down towards Damian. "Get out of there, Damian! There's something inside the lava!"

TABTAB To use abilities to pseudo fly or call his old friend? He would need to summoner her eventually. Might as well be now. From above and to the left, a blur of motion would catch Amias' eye. It would swoop towards Damian as he leapt upward. The Vaet would see Damian standing on a demon that had the appearance of a black and red dragon that gave off a roar and he a smirk. He always felt... Something nice whenever he was able to call upon his old companion, even if the situation requires them to fight most of the time. Ascalon was drawn and resting on his right shoulder as both dragon and demon looked down at where the disruption occurred. "Fight or continue on?" The demon was curious as to the strength of their welcoming committee, but fighting now meant they would be less optimal to finish their mission. Still, a fight was a fight of his smirk turning somewhat bloodthirsty was any indication.

To fight or to run...that would be an option Amias would consider as soon as their foe emerged from the lava. It was a decision they'd have to make quickly, though, depending on the strength of their opponent. As soon as the head of the enemy peeked through the lava, and the Vaet was able to gaze upon it more acutely with the sight to determine its levels of power, there was only one word that even went to his mind. The power they were up against now was simply unbelievable. From just the head alone, he could tell; whatever had followed them in here was stronger than the representative of hell that had let them in the plane.
"Run."Without warning, the Vaet Diabolos took off in the direction of the disturbance, spear already brandished and spreading his mist into the air. They needed to put a lot of distance between themselves and this creature before it could cut them off from their destination. When he turned again to check on its position, he was greeted with a sinister grin from ear to ear, orange eyes almost bright enough to obscure his vision. The demon raised his spear to block as he was swatted aside, little more than a fly to this new hunter. Injecting his energy into the rocks, he was able to shatter them, slowing his flight using his wings and the debris before smashing into the wall. Using his weapon's ability, the mist would camouflage him for a brief moment, just enough to continue his flight path towards Kala's binding. No matter what stood in their way, they had to make sure they finished this deed. Even if it meant their untimely death.
"Damian! We'll have to fight this thing on the fly! There's no time to waste!" Extending his palm backwards, Amias would call forth a red circle of magic before his palm. From this circle, two salamanders of unholy flames erupted in a glorious blaze. Quickly, they would soar in alternate trajectories towards his quarry, sporting extreme power. It seemed to work at distracting the creature for a short period of time, keeping it twirling around in the air with a level of aerial grace unexpected for such a brute. Then again, it was able to catch up to the Vaet in less than a second; this was definitely a near-god level creature they were dealing with now. How would Damian add into the mix?

TABTAB It came as a soft pain in the back of the salamander's, Astrid's, and this... Whatever they were fighting's mind. A soft pain originating from Damian as he allowed their pain to fuel his own strength and speed. He inhaled, then exhaled. "Agora , esta é unha loita!" Energy began to seep from Damian and effect those that would be his allies: Astrid, Amias, Amias' new pets. The energy they would normally expel to attack or defend would be lessened. Afterward, his smile became more feral as he used blood magic to harden his own body. After that, he jumped from Astrid's back and would join the salamanders in their assault on the creature with a small laugh. Using his swordspear, he shoved the blade into the body of the creature causing a massive impact and then a slightly lessened impact in the form of concussive force that accompanied the strike thanks to Ascalon itself, then extended his hand at his enemy. A massive burst of energy in the form of unholy fire would erupt in a ten foot wide beam. Knowing it would not be enough to end the creature with one go as it would just about anything else, he kicked off the beast, dislodging his swordspear and would be caught by the dragon Astrid. In the air, she was Queen, capable of what should be impossible aerial feats. This is how they would fight this thing: her as aerial support and adding in as she could with him taking on the beast as he saw fit.

Damian's efforts were noble. That much could be said. However, as the smoke and dust cleared from their attacks making impact, the pair would notice that the creature was mostly unscathed. A scratch here, and a light burn there were all that were left as evidence of their attacks. The wound that Damian had left with his swordspear was incredibly shallow, and only served to irritate their opponent more than any real damage. It was unfortunate, but in a show of power, this creature would likely defeat them every time.
Without hesitation, it spread its palms out wide. An influx of energy would bring to it a shield on its left hand, and a spear to its right. It appeared that all three of the combatants today were spear users, meaning that this battle was likely to never be conducted in complete melee quarters. Without warning, it pushed off the air itself, launching at Damian with ferocious power. He would notice that it was cloaked in a strange energy as it charged; a dragoon skill, sporting SS-rank power. Truth be told, it was a very basic attack, but the speed and power with which it was performed were frightening, especially for two mortals. While also being on his dragon, Damian would have to make the decision; was his dragon fast enough to dodge the attack unassisted?
Of course, Amias hadn't been forgotten about either. Mid charge, the beast turned its head and unleashed a viciously powerful beam at Amias from its mouth. Whatever this thing was, it was borrowing many of the skills from the dragoon tree. But that wasn't all. In the middle of its flight path, the breath attack seemed to vanish before coming at the Vaet from two separate directions, the exchange happening smoothly in such a short period of time. It was a mage skill that allowed the caster to duplicate a spell, combined with what appeared to be a manipulation of space and time. It was apparent that their foe wasn't only gifted in martial prowess; it could also easily best them in a battle of magic as well.
To defend himself, Amias had to rely on his Mist Step. Unfortunately, even with an instant displacement, the radius of the mist hadn't spread far enough yet; the shockwave from the breath attacks colliding sent him flying into the earthen walls, front-first. This time, there was no time to prepare, as the exchange had happened just out of teleport. Emerging from the rock with a pained grunt, Amias understood the depth of their situation now more than ever. All of these wide, powerful attacks...making sure to deliberately damage the walls and ceilings of this place...it was all clear. "He's trying to destroy this place! If we don't get to Kala first, we'll get buried alive!" The grim realization came with a number of responses, but Amias stuck with what he knew. Taking off as best as he could with his new injuries, he flew towards Kala, and the chase began anew. Using his electromagnetic manipulation, he was able to move some of the finer dust particles in the air into the sort of skills he needed. From the ritual circles that resulted, a total of thirty phantoms erupted forth, converging on their foe as soon as his attack on Damien ended. For now, they would have to work it like this; hit and run.

TABTAB Damian had curled behind Astrid's dragon form as the creature's attack came at them, and used energy to shield her, and thereby him as well, with enough power to match the attack aimed at her. It would be enough to defend her from the blow as her wings that were tucked in before now ferruled out and sped up to catch up to Amias. So they had to contain the damage... Fine. Wait.... The way they were trailing... His smirk held as he realized what Amias was doing. He had thought about going all out now, but now.... It was a lure. Astrid aligned herself between Amias and the creature with Damian now standing on her back even in this high speed of flight. He took on a sturdy stance, and then pointed at the creature, then flicked his fingers in a 'bring it on' motion. He would play goalie... For now.

Unfortunately for the pair, the amount of setup Amias did was for naught, but to slow down the creature for a couple brief moments. Despite all the energy he'd spent to create those phantoms, a simple burst of outward energy from their pursuer sent them all reeling. It was becoming more and more apparent that their foe was rather close to the status of a tier 4 god; a level of power neither of these men were capable of really fighting. So it was truly their only choice to try and draw this monstrosity to the right place and at the right moment. Despite that, attacking was their only method of slowing its flight down enough to where it wouldn't catch them; even then, it wouldn't be enough to slow it down completely. It would still catch up unless they used powerful attacks to halt its advance.
But if they did that, and the area collapsed...this was all too sickening. "We need to find a way to slow him down. If we don't, we're as good as dead, and this whole thing comes to a close." It was at that point, that he had an idea. By applying a large amount of energy in the air around the enemy, he was able to magnetize the metal portions of his weapons. Then, by creating the opposite charge on the ceiling behind him, Amias was greatly able to reduce the flight speed of their pursuer, much to its anger. Before the pair could react, another blast of vicious power erupted from its mouth, shooting past them and obliterating the ceiling directly in front of them, creating a giant wall of falling debris. Amias was able to glide through the openings with only minor cuts and scrapes to add to his collection of injuries, but what about Damian? It had been without much any notice at all, and his dragon was quite large. Would they be able to react in time?
He wondered that, until the debris started to glow a bright orange hue. With the Sight, he was able to see that the accumulation of energy within this debris was horrifying; an SSS-level skill, being used here? If Kala's chambers were destroyed, it would mean the end of this quest. But how far were they...? An outward proclamation of shock tore from his lips as the demon realized; they were less than 100 feet from their final destination! They'd gotten so caught in combat that the end goal was already in their sight. There was no time to play around any more, and there certainly wasn't any time to waste. Concentrating an equally large amount of his own electromagnetic energy, Amias projected a ridiculously powerful barrier around Kala's chambers, with the range being just short of his own body. Guarding himself as best as he could with what energy remained, the explosion blasted Amias back into his barrier, dealing a rather significant amount of damage before he crossed over into safety. A wide area around Kala's chambers was spared, ensuring that their goal was still perfectly attainable.
For now, Amias would work on spreading the strange, black mist everywhere in Kala's chamber. But how had Damian fared?

• The Sight Just like their counterpart (the Nephilim) the Diabolos can read the auras about them and see things for what they are. This allows them to pinpoint an opponent's energy level(rank), along with the ability to naturally see energy.
• Electromagnetic Manipulation Even without expending energy, the Diabolos can manipulate electromagnetic fields. This allows them to levitate their own weapons and manipulate them with great speed, power and precision. Furthermore, they may sense metal and disturbances in electromagnetic fields; for example, if there is a destructive event happening even across the world, they will know it is ongoing, just not who or what is involved. They can sense earthquakes and other such things, to name a few events that would trigger this sense.
You may also compress this magnetic field within simply a large area around you; this allows you to perceive movements around you.
• Pain Inversion This is a strength and a weakness. Pain Inversion allows for a Diabolos' abilities to be stronger based on their physical health. This does not increase ability rank, but rather size, speed and precision. At full condition, you will be able to manipulate larger masses and fling them at enemies as if ballistic homing missiles. When near death, you will need great concentration to do that same thing and will be able to manipulate significantly less at once.

TABTAB"Alright, let's play." Damian closed his eyes, and when they opened they were bloodshot. The veins in his body pulsed and began to flow a dim blood red. Astrid formed a shield of fire, as Damian formed another beneath the first shield. Individually they were not as powerful as what was thrown at them, but together both would survive. And what was not absorbed by the two shields as absorbed by Damian's own body. Oh yes, it hurt, but the reaver relished it. So much so that through the blast Damian actually leapt at the monster, Ascalon raised and a bellowing roar coming from his throat. He would just about match the creature's strength now, and due to Amias' intervention, its speed as well. The timer was set off, but Damian knew the fight would end before the timer did. The parts of his flesh that had been torn off regenerated mid flight as the Dreadnaught impaled the creature again with Ascalon, this time with more force, more impact to the strike. Whatever Amias had planned, he needed to do it now.

- Bloodwake | S Veins erupt from the user's body, to settle just below the skin. The user's eyes become bloodshot red as the Reaver begins to empower his body to become something straight out of a child's nightmare. The user will begin to visibly grow in size sharply as his muscles go through a process of hypertrophy and hypertonia. During this time, the user's physical process seems to be unmatchable, with their speed and strength stats rising by +3/+3, going above the limit if necessary. During this time, the user receives a damage reduction of one rank, the ability to use all of the skills above while using one rank less energy, while obtaining a +1 rank increase to all of his skills for 5 posts. Once this happens, the user faces extreme muscle atrophy, and loses access to his Reaver skills and the passives as well for 3 posts.
As soon as Abscalon came within striking range, the enemy merely caught it within his hand, feeling no ill effect from any other abilities of the weapon; an immunity. He pulled the spear in with unseen speed and force--Amias' magnetic bindings had worn off after the explosion--and he slammed a fist powerfully into Damian's chest, sending him flying nearly all the way to Kala's chamber, sporting severe damage to his sternum and likely his lungs. It would be a crippling blow for the combatant if he wanted to continue this as a physical endeavor, but they needed to succeed, no matter what. Arming his spear with a strange, coalescent orange energy, the monster would seem to teleport in front of Damian, offering no warning before a vicious flurry of spear stabs erupted before him. Hopefully, his dragon would be able to catch up with the high speed movements before it was too late.
Within Kala's chambers, Amias was nearly complete with his preparations. The black mist was now pouring solidly out of the chambers and into the space where the two were now fighting. How this would effect the creature, Amias had no idea. But from his experiences already in the room, he knew he'd chosen the correct course of action; his own spells had served little to no effect on the anchor of energy that now bound Kala. Perhaps the effect was minimal, but they needed a much more powerful energy to destroy the bindings. An energy that far surpassed what they were capable of.
They needed the strength of their friend outside. But how to get him to do it...?

TABTAB When Ascalon was attempted to be used on Damian, something happened in that moment. Black fires with red hues danced in the demon's eyes as an unholy power took hold of his body. Gnarlish razor wounds on his wrists and his neck, now noticed as what seemed to be half tattoo, half actual wound, began to flow a dim glow same as what his eyes produced. Swordspear blade met hand, concussive force ripped flesh from the outstretched limb, but the Dreadnaught moved only one foot back due to the force of the attack. However, nothing else came from the attack. Damian looked the creature in the eyes, and smirked. Damian knew how to mix energy manipulation from his heritage and blood magic from his reaver training. Combining the two allowed for bursts of godly presence. His speed may have still been lacking compared to his opponent, but he was now ever so slightly stronger than the beast. It was meant as a show of power, to cause the beast to pause if only for a moment in wonder. Ascalon faded from the creature's grasp and materialized back into Damian's grasp. As this happened, Astrid poured fire from above upon both Damian and the creature. In the curtain of flames, Damian unleashed his new toy, the head of a daggerwhip that anchored itself into the creature. Indestructible, taken as a trophy from the warrior goddess Elessia herself, molded and reformed into another piece of Leetha's armaments. From there, the chain that literally came from his left arm, acting as a chained snake that literally came through the skin of his palm without causing any damage to the limb, was pulled towards the Dreadnaught who stabbed at the creature with Ascalon at the same time. If the creature should use its superior speed to attempt to escape? Damian would use a little trick he had and trade his newfound strength for his speed, becoming a devil of insane speed instead of insane strength.

The creature had no need to escape. As hard as he tried, these attacks were, even now, barely enough to pierce the skin of the beast they were battling. Abscalon and the daggerwhip both made impact just fine, and the fire danced around the thick skin of his opponent with little to no effect. This was a creation of Narathos, the current strongest god in all three planes; the attacks and toys of a mortal would bear no real fruit. It had just one weakness, something that many warriors never really bore themselves witness to, but that would be revealed in due time. Without hesitation, the creature unleashed a viciously powerful burst of energy from his person, blowing Damian and his dragon clear, far away from their current position. Rova had grown bored of the dreadnought's silly toys and silly attacks; it was time to finish off the other demon who'd come knocking on the wrong door, who'd come to defy the will of his creator. From the burst, Damian and his dragon would be sent flying an impossibly far distance to cover in minutes alone, even with speed to rival his strength. He would be a nonfactor for long enough to finish off his friend.
Landing on the stone balcony that led to Kala's chamber, Rova would step in to see a simply ludicrous amount of this odd, black mist. As he peered into it using the Sight, he would find that it had no particular energy source of it's own. More likely than not, it's some kind of poison, a mortal trick that would bear no ill towards him. He stepped inside, feeling no particularly ominous sensation from the mist, and declared it thusly a form of distraction. He'd seen it before quite a lot, as the demon had been spreading it around the area during their whole conflict. What he wouldn't realize, is that this prolonged exposure would be his downfall. With another step into the room, Amias' energy became clearly visible to him.
"So you're here to finish this...I won't let you harm Kala. No matter what." The demon knew this would be where it ended, for better or worse. With speed much faster than that of his dreadnought counterpart, Amias lunged, to no avail. Rova's spear quickly pierced his right shoulder, forcing him backward until they rammed into an object that seemed to be obscured from view. It was an oddity to the agent of Narathos, but he dismissed his concerns and gripped Amias by the throat. He would squeeze, tighter and tighter...until a crack of light appeared in the air, in the spot where Rova's spear pierced Amias. The single obtrusion would be followed by more and more, these cracks seeming to extend up to the ceiling of the room. It was at this point that the mist cleared, and Rova's mistake was revealed to him in full spectrum; the anchor of power restraining Kala was also a victim of his powerful strike. Clenching a fist, and imbibing it with powerful demonic energy, Amias' strength would seem to increase by a monstrous amount within a single moment. He smashed his fist into one of the cracks on the anchor, the final blow.
It was to Rova's horror that the anchor crumbled to the ground, a long-time binding on the matron of Vaet Nocturnum...finally broken. Amias was in throes, and it was the actions of their goddess that could save them now.
