Personality: Jican used to be open, friendly, warm and trusting. But several years in slavery have made him jaded and pretty much uncaring for anyone around him. If the Master can win him over, they may return some of the old Jican, but will certainly win a severely loyal servant.
Biography:
Little is known about Jican's past. All the papers speak of is that he has been in the employ of many Masters. Some died while they owned him, some just threw him away back to the shop once bored. Growing older than a human, the Kitsune has become cool and reserved to anyone that comes along. Convinced it is better not to get attached as they'll probably just die or throw him away again once bored. But maybe the right Master can make him see otherwise.

Personality:
Very loyal, if you earn as such. He may be a slave but he has standards. He will not bow to you, say yes master and just let you do whatever. Since he considers himself a person, individual and not some trophy he does not agree with his new standing at all. Do not expect him to follow orders, though if you are nice, he may be willing to listen to you and treat you with respect. But this is earned and not a privilege! Not aggressive but if you approach with aggression he will fight back. The only exception to the rule being that once you bought him and are contracted as his owner he can not deny orders if they are given in the same sentence as his full name. This fact is not known however, the master will have to find out by themselves. Unless they know about this rule on Yokai.
Biography:
He was born at the far off Shinigama Estate. His parents were both Kitsune. Every kitsune that is born is given powers by birth, which is not genetically determined. In Kohaku's case he was born with powers of snow and ice, but with the collar he is unable to call upon them. He is not afraid to use his power to defend himself from anyone, but this is bypassed due to the suppressing collar. He is not the firstborn however, but Kohaku doesn't know that. His brother was sold the day he was born. By the time Kohaku was born, their parents had enough money to support a child so they kept him. When he was of age, Kohaku moved out of the house and went to live on his own with his own shrine, however he was ambushed one night and ended up collared before he could truly react so he was unable to use his power to fight the attackers off. Since that day he has been locked in a cage, waiting to be sold off.

Kitsune are believed to possess superior intelligence, long life, and magical powers. They are a type of yokai, or spiritual entity, and the word Kitsune is often translated as fox spirit. However, this does not mean that Kitsune are ghosts. Because the word spirit is used to reflect a state of knowledge or enlightenment, all long-lived foxes gain supernatural abilities.

Physically, Kitsune are noted for having as many as nine tails. Generally, a greater number of tails indicates an older and more powerful fox; in fact, some folktales say that a fox will only grow additional tails after it has lived 100 years. One, five, seven, and nine tails are the most common numbers in folk stories. When a Kitsune gains its ninth tail, its fur becomes white or gold. These kyubi no Kitsune (nine-tailed foxes) gain the abilities to see and hear anything happening anywhere in the world.
