so i had to explain at length why i cant translate tagalog language in a guild but basically it comes down to the fact that im not fluent enough in asian words / culture / etc to do this
one example i used was a curse word in mexico but has no meaning in the united states and yet in some asian countries like vietnam its a delicacy dish so even if i could put something together who's to say it would even make sense
translations are fine between known languages that i know but when i dont know a language its next to impossible to do
makes me wonder why my homie thought i was a good idea to translate a language i didn't know about eek
