Her last visit to the inn had been far too brief. Now, though, Faamy had all the time in the world. She was traveling! Free as a song! Of course, she needed to stop at that inn for a while. She could visit familiar faces, and meet new ones!
With a travel pack and instrument case in tow, Faamy brightened up at the sight of the inn. It was good to be back! Goodness, she was thirsty though. The sun was hot, even though it was still low on the morning horizon. She fanned herself with her large sunhat as she headed for the protection of the building.

Gyuri was standing outside on the deck in front of the inn, leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his wide chest. He was taking a break before the evening crowd came rolling in, only opening his mismatched eyes when he heard someone approaching the inn. He blinked a couple times, then lifted a hand to give a wave. He knew that one, he'd seen her around before. A friend of Makani if he recalled right. He wondered if the mage was meeting with the blond again or if she was just visiting the inn? Either way it was up to him to greet her since he was standing out in front of the door. Pushing away from the wall he asked, "No weapon to check today?" Best to make sure since even a musician might carry a weapon to keep themselves safe while they were on the road. Best to make sure before she went inside... though he didn't exactly thing that she'd be starting any bar fights. At least he really hoped not since it might be awkward to have to toss a woman out. Not something that the bouncer had yet to do up to this point.

Skipping up the steps to the inn, Faamy gave the cute guard a smile. "Me? A weapon?" Giggling, she waved a dismissive hand. "Unless my fists count, you know?" She playfully smacked a fist into her opposing palm. Lips quirking to the side, she smiled apologetically. She knew better than to tease about such a thing. She just couldn't help herself. "Eh, no. Nothin' to check in."
After a quick moment, she cocked her hip and smiled. "You get off duty soon? I wouldn't mind getting a dance in there with you~"

Gyuri gave a shrug of one shoulder before he said, "Have to check everyone." Even if she really didn't seem the sort that would go starting sword fights it was best to check and make sure. As she smacked a fist against her palm, saying that unless her fist counted she was without weapons he lifted a fist of his own, one wearing a specially colored gauntlet and said, "They make good weapons." As she said she had nothing to check in he moved to the door, pushing it open for her to allow her inside, "Early yet, so no entertainment." Best to warn her since it was normally around evening when the entertainment started and when the crowds really started to roll in. As she asked him if he got off duty soon, mentioning wanting a dance with him Gyuri was quick to lift his hands up, shaking his head rapidly. Dancing was most certainly not his thing. Sure, he got dragged into the occasional lesson by Eira and Borra but it wasn't a normal thing for him. Just thinking about it was a bit embarrassing since he knew he spent most of his time moving stiffly and tripping over his own feet.

Faamy nodded with understanding. "Safety first!" Raising a finger, she shook it side to side with a smirk. "Don't worry. I never broke the nose of someone who didn't need it."
She was early? Faamy peeked up at the sky, then back to the man. "Good. Need to cool down after that trek, then warm up again to do anything." The quick and expressive response she got for her offer made her smile with delight. So adorable for such a man~ "Ah, you've been working here a while, yeah? Ya gotta know dancing's about the fun more'n the skill." She gave her hips a fun little shake, grinning encouragingly. "Simple, see?"

Giving a bit of a smile Gyuri said, "Yes, same here." Only the people that deserved it were teh ones that met with his meaty fists. For the time being, with everything as peaceful as it was today, he wasn't really all that worried about having to go tossing anyone out at the moment. Now if someone got rowdy tonight then things would change, but afternoons tended to be pretty calm. This was just the way that he liked it. After glancing around he noticed that nobody was manning the bar, not that it was really a busy time of day. He supposed that he could do himself, to see if there was anything that Faamy needed, "Want a drink or some stew?" He asked of Faamy before he nodded in the affirmative at her question about him working here for a while. It was more then just a while, wasn't it? He'd been here since before there was even an inn he thought to himself though didn't say as much. Instead he jsut listened as she said that dancing was 'more fun then skill... a thought that made him think of Eira. She likely wouldn't like the sound of that, but so long as she and Li didn't hear those words it should be find. "Perhaps." He said as she told him that it was simple. All the dancing he'd seen from Eira never seemed simple but then again she'd been dancing for a while now so he supposed that could be a part of it.

Faamy perked up at the mention of drinks. "I'm sure parched after that walk." She held up her empty canteen and gave it a shake to let the tiny bit of splashing could accent her point. "Perhaps drank a bit too enthusiastically on the way here."
"Perhaps?" She giggled and waved a hand as she headed inside. "Only perhaps if you're goin' on stage." Looking around, she also saw that the bar lacked a tender. The man had offered though, so maybe he would be helping? She looked over her shoulder and smiled confidently. "Nobody pays any mind when you're dancin' in a crowd~" She put a finger to her chin and pouted slightly. "Least, they shouldn't be."

Gyuri reached out, taking the canteen from Faamy and walked over to the barrel of purified water and saw about filling it up to the top. Once it was filled up he put the top on and handed it back to her, "There you go." He said, giving her a smile and a nod. Once he'd given it over he then added, "If you get hungry let me know." Taking a seat in front of the bar he found himself glancing for a moment at the stage across the way before shaking his head rapidly. The last thing he wanted to do was even thinking about going up there. The most dancing he did were the occasional lessons, he'd leave the stage to people who were actually able to dance, like Eira and Li. They were good at that sort of thing and he was good at what he did, which was protecting everyone else. "Hm? Well... I guess not." He guessed that was true, though he wasn't about to test the theory.

"Thanks." Faamy didn't waste too much time in taking a few sips from the canteen before hooking it back onto her hip. "If you're sure ya don't mind.. Some sort of sandwich would be mighty fine." With her cheek in hand, she propped her head up against the bar, watching Gyuri. Not everyone was blessed with as much of a sunny disposition as she was! It couldn't be helped. It took all kinds in the world.
"By the way, I don't think we been properly introduced. More in passin' than anythin' else." Smiling brightly, she stuck out her hand. "Name's Faamy. Seeing's how this place ain't exactly bustlin' yet, why don't we sit and chat for a spell? Need anythin' to eat? We can watch the door at the same time, right?"

Gyuri gave a thoughtful sound, "Hmmm..." A sandwich, huh? He moved to get together what he felt would make something akin to that. They tended to keep things like stew going but other requests had to be made to order. Luckily Gyuri wasn't terrible when it came to cooking so he was able to come up with something that was like a sandwich and set it on the bar in front of Faamy. He could only hope that the approximation would work out for her. It was something he'd eat but he also knew that the two of them were far different. As she stuck out her hand, introducing herself directly to him he took her hand, giving it a shake before he said, "Gyuri." After glancing about for a moment, making sure that nobody else was about, even making sure to look out the front door to make sure there was nobody else that he needed to greet yet, he nodded. Alright a bit of time to sit and chat should be alright since it was hardly the most prime and bustling time. Moving over he sat one a stool at the bar where he could easily see the door, just in case someone else showed up early as Faamy had.

Faamy sat patiently, taking in the inn while it was empty. There was a reason she usually didn't get anywhere early. The hall echoed, lacking the life she loved so much. Despite the comfort of the place, an empty building tended to give her chills.
"Gyuir. Nice ta meet ya." She look a bite of the provided meal and smiled. Ah.. A man who can cook. That just made him extra cute. Her legs swung contently as she sat on the stool, filling her belly and her eyes. "So, what brought a guy like ye ta these parts? Born here? Moved here?"

Gyuri gave a smile and a nod as she said it was nice to meet him. She was a kind young woman, wasn't she? That made him happy that she was visiting as it was always best to have the more cheerful and friendly sorts visiting the inn. The world could use more people like Faamy then perhaps those like Gyuri, those whose sole job was protecting others, wouldn't be needed as often. As she asked what brought a guy like him to these parts his mind flickered before the long line of things that had ultimately brought Gyuri and the rest of the troupe here before he gave a bit of a chuckle and said, "Long story." That was putting it mildly. It was one of those long stories that seemed to have multiple chapters that was a bit too much for one such as himself to put into words... mostly because he didn't have that many words in him. Long stories were better told by those like Eira who were better versed in such things he thought to himself, half wishing that the Mistress of the Inn were here to help him out with the telling of said story. It was just him here with Faamy though, wasn't it? As such he was on his own as far as chatting went.

Faamy's eyes lit up with interest. "Oooh, long story. I love long stories. Please do tell me sometime~" She giggled and took another bite of her food. "As for me, born and raised in Sauti. Last time, I came for a visit. This time..." she smiled brightly and gestured around the empty building, "this time, this is just a stop on a journey. Gonna visit other places, and other inns, and get famous for my singin' and playin'." She giggled again and shrugged. "Well, that's the plan anyway. Not too much ta hope for, right?" Grinning playfully, she took another bite of the sandwich and nodded. "Thanks for the food. It's good."

Phew... she said to tell her 'sometime' but not necessarily right now, saving him from being forced to try to tell such an intricate story about how they had all ended up where they were. Feeling as though he'd been saved, something he was grateful for, he relaxed against the bar as he listened to what Faamy was saying about her own journey. It seemed as though she was a traveling musician instead of the sort that stayed in one place. She wanted to go from place to place, to get famous for her singing and playing. He blinked a couple times then asked, "Is traveling normal for musicians?" Would Borra want to leave as well one day to do the same? Not a thought he liked the idea of... though it wouldn't be his place to stop him if that was what he wanted, right? You play here." She seemed to want to play at various inns and having her do a performance or two here wouldn't hurt anything he thought to himself. Maybe she could play with Borra? They could learn from each other that way he thought to himself, wondering if the Ice Tribesman would like that sort of thing. It was a way to learn new songs and hone his skills... but that was something Faamy would need to ask Borra or vice versa, Gyuri couldn't exactly set up a play date for two grown people after all. As she thanked him for the food he gave a nod of his head and said, "Your welcome."

The relief in Gyuri's whole body was practically palatable! Goodness, such a big, handsome man being so shy about talking! So cute~ "Well, I wouldn't say it ain't normal. Plenty of us stick ta areas 'r businesses. Means a steady pay, usually. I want ta be travelin' though, so that's what I'm doin'."
"I'll play here so long as the lady o' the place don't mind," she confirmed. Looking to the man, she gave him a playful wink. "Maybe I can git that story outta ya if I'm here long 'nough?"
