Aedus knew what he wanted to do when he grew up, for the most part, he loved his familiars, but he didn't hate everyone as much as he used to. So he decided he might be ok with dealing with some others as long as they were like Nimah the only one he had talked to without majorly insulting. He had growled at her a bunch but she hadn't yelled at him or told him he was a jerk. Nor had she mocked him for his homesickness like that hybrid had, least she had in his mind. Which might have been a lie, but he didn't like Val very much, or maybe he did. Aedus was still a kid, who was in the middle of taking care of his many familiars which gave him as much happiness as he could gather in this dark place. Well except for Nimah's reaction to him giving her the crocobee. Aedus growled and turned to his own crocobee, she wasn't important, he told himself, that way if she rejected him as a friend later he wouldn't be hurt. Aedus petted his new babies this is what matter to him, taking care of these familiars, breeding familiars. He wanted to know everything he could about these amazing creatures, then some day he would become a vet and a breeder. Aedus wanted to gather many more familiars in his life, they made him so happy. It was the once warm spot left in Aedus's life at this point.
