(This part takes place in the park)
Alice was becoming less entertained by the second. She was a girl that had to constantly be playing or causing chaos until she was exhausted from her games. If she wasn't she became rather annoyed and cranky, and like a child, would throw a tantrum. The only difference is she's not a child, and her tantrums are deadly due to her abilities.

When Joker insisted that she come with him again her face twitched a little. "I'm not stupid..." She mumbled under her breath as she briefly flashbacks to her time in the asylum. "Come with me. Come with me right now. Just be a good girl and take your meds." That's what all the doctors would say all the time, and nothing good ever came from following their demands. All that did was result in her getting drugged up, electrocuted, her brain picked at, and eventually sold off to some government science lab where they did this to her. That memory triggered another earlier memory of her time with her father and sister. When ever he yelled "Come out here you little b*tches!" It was never good. Alice didn't like being told what to do since rules and orders always just resulted in pain. The only person she had ever actually listened to was her sister. When she would say "Come on, let's go," or "Follow me!" it was always pleasant. But adults...their "come here" or "come with me" always equalled pain.

Alice was brewing in silent anger and frustration before being brought back by the question "You like to play with the bat?" Upon hearing this the messy blonde turned to the side to look at the Joker and nodded with a small, devious grin. "Who doesn't? Don't all the villains in Gotham want him out of the way? I have to say I'm more interested in that sidekick of his...Robin. He might become just like Batman one day if they aren't split a part, and the last thing Gotham needs is another overly serious adult ruining the fun." Alice said before she heard the cops start yelling "It's the Joker! And who's that girl?"

"Really!? I've caused chaos in this city how many times and people can't remember me!? I guess it's because my creatures do most of the work, and because I haven't be caught yet." She said outlaid, more to herself than to anyone though, as the Joker grabbed her and put her gun to her head. "Hey! Don't you-!" But before she could finish the Joker requested that she play the victim in order to get them both out of there. Honestly Alice figured she'd look suspicious considering the fact that she was in a strange costume with weird makeup, but she supposed if she played the role right she'd trick the dumb cops into thinking her attire was forced upon her. "A challenge...ok. I like playing make believe. Better hold on tight though. I'm really gonna sell it!" Alice whispered to the Joker with a small smile before she suddenly let her legs go limp. If it wasn't for his tight grip she would have fallen to her knees, but her warning let him know that she was about to fully embody the role of a freaked out girl.

At first al she did was scream. It was a loud, ear shattering scream, that sounded like she had just been stabbed. Alice's memories of her time as an experiment helped her force this horrible soon out of her throat and really get into character. "my mom! I want my mom!" She screamed. Despite being a teen she was sure most people would cry out for a family member or someone they cared about in a situation like this, no matter how old they were. "Please! Help! He made me dress in this outfit... I don't know what he's gonna do..." Alice was basically suggesting that the Joker was some pervert with a fetish from dressing up young girls, and the thought of that being even remotely true freaked her out a little inside because of what happened to her sister. Int eh back of her mind Alice always wondered what specifically was done to her, but she figured she was better off not knowing the details. Knowing that would only cause her more pain and mental instability.

"Hold fire!" A policeman yelled at the other cops, causing them to all stare at the Joker helplessly. Their confused and worried faces made Alice want to laugh, but she didn't, Instead she just continued to quick, scream, and cry, as the Joker pretended to force her into his car. Once in the car Alice was quick to revert back to her normal self and stare at her reflection in one of the car mirrors. "I made my make up run even more... Awesome!" She said with a giggle right as the Joker sped them off down the road.

(In lounge)

When they arrived at the club Alice looked at the building with disgust. "This is where perverted drunks go to do stupid stuff isn't it? or is that a casino?" She asked as the Joker got out of the car. Seeing that there was really nowhere left to go Alice followed after him only to be stopped by the men at the door. When he pointed out that Alice was too young the girl smiled brightly, as if she had just be given a compliment. In her mind appearing young and childish was just as flattering as adult women found being called beautiful. However, the Joker seemed to use his threats and connection to get the bouncer to ignore her age and let her in. "Thanks!" She said to the man with a small wave as she followed the Joker to a nice private table with leather couches as music blasted loudly around them.

"This place isn't fun to me. There are only stupid adults here wasting their lives on liquor." Alice said before taking a seat across from him. "You aren't what I expected at all." Alice said plainly with a look of disinterest on her face. "The bomb thing you did was funny, and the act you pulled with me playing the victim was also kind of fun, but you are more...what's the word..." Alice started to say before losing herself in her mind. She knew what word an older people would use "authoritative", but she was trying to find a more childish way to say since she liked acting so young.

                                                  - Robinson Park -

The Joker smiled at her comment about Batman. For J, the Batman was more than just someone he wanted rid of, he was his greatest adversary whom he simply loved to torment. And his sidekick, Robin, was just a nuisance currently, but Alice was correct. He had the potential to be deadly, and they had to be on guard. As the cops continued to close in, Alice spoke again. He tilted his head to the side. Never been caught? Interesting. “That’s good,” He murmured to himself as they continued to execute their overly theatrical escapade.

J laughed as she agreed to play along, a thick sickening laugh that seemed to echo. He tightened his grip as she instructed in order to keep a hold of her. “Oh stop whining,” He shouted firing a shot at the floor to shut her up. Her cried were seriously giving him a bad rep. Now he was a pervert and a murderer? The Joker continued laughing as the cops held back. He sniggered at them. “No use without your precious Batman,” He yelled with a gleeful laugh. “Where is he now I wonder?” J made a face of mock shock, before he shot down another officer. After throwing the grenade to prevent them from following them, he shoved Alice in the passenger seat of his car and drove them away. As Alice admired her messy makeup in the mirror J chuckled, and drove the car even faster.

                                                  - The Iceberg Lounge –

Alice was clearly not pleased with his choice of location, though she still followed him inside. He ignored her comments, he was here to collect some money and then leave when the coast was clear. As soon as the Joker showed his face, the bouncers let the pair in, though their faces showed concern for the girl. Eventually they took a seat, and after texting the ‘client’ he removed his jacket and began talking to Alice, ignoring her continuing complaints about his choice of venue, focusing more on her objections to … well him.

J sighed looking towards the young girl. “We’re not here to drink, unless you want to,” He rolled his eyes leaning back on his seat. She talked a lot though he guessed that was simply due to her age. Her next sentence bothered him, though he watched her as she spoke. “Go on,” He allowed, letting her explain how he wasn’t what she expected. When she finished he leaned forward. It seemed that, now she was behind she scenes, the ‘Joker’ image was somewhat ruined, and he wasn’t particularly sure why. “Tonight, I came looking for you,” He explained to the girl. J had heard about the girl dressed as Alice from an acquaintance and had been adamant that he would find her and either make an ally or enemy of her. “I was going to kill you, but you peaked my interest,” The Joker tilted his head to the side. He spoke as though these words were that or normal conversation. “Don’t make me change my mind,” His final statement seemed slightly more ominous as he looked directly into her eyes. Of course he was wary of what she would do if she felt threatened, but the guards and employees had been sufficiently threatened by himself and their employer to protect him if he needed aid. The Joker had no qualms with the girl sitting in front of him, and wasn’t going to behave in his maniacal state constantly unless he wanted to scare her. But if that was what she wanted, he would show it to her. As soon as their ‘date’ arrived.

Alice's eyes met the Joker's as he spoke to her. It was clear that he was somewhat displease with ow she said he was different. For a moment, he did actually frighten her and made her go silent as they looked at each other. It was especially chilling when he said that he had planned to kill her, but he also stated that she had interested him which made some of the fear turn into happiness. She had interested the Joker enough to make him go out of his way to get to know her, and he saw as as powerful enough to be a possible threat to him. If you thought about, thought deeper into the statement, it was kind of an honor to have been told that. "I see... I apologize if I seemed rude or ungrateful. I have a few...biases...that sometimes dictate how I act." Despite usually acting and sounding like a child at this point Alice was focused, spoke clearly, and calmly, and with some diction that most kids wouldn't use. Honestly was child would know what a bias is, and they'd usually just say "i'm sorry" instead of "I apologize". It was clear that Alice was a complex person from this alone. While she didn't have a split personality it seemed that she did act in conflicting ways at times.

"The you here isn't upsetting. Just different. I always imagined the Joker to be completely spontaneous but I suppose one reason I grew to admire you was because you never were easy to figure out." As Alice continued to speak in a manner different from her usual speech. Her giggles, jumpy childlike behavior was replaced with a short period of calmness. "Do you like reading sir Joker? I always loved books. But in time books grew boring. I began to realize that the books made for children always ended with happily ever after, but the books for adults often ended in a sad way. For a while I didn't have books to read, so I decided to read people instead. What would you say you prefer? Books or people?" Alice asked as she forced herself to ignore the horrible smell of alcohol and the annoying sounds of remixed music and drunk people screaming.

"I don't have a favorite. I like how books can have worlds that are a to more fun than this one, but I don't like how they have a set endings. Even the happy endings have started to bother me because when a book ends that means it's all over. The world that was created between those pages disappear. It's ending that make you realize that the world you were stuck in up until that point, was never actually there. At least when you read people the one good thing is that you don't have to read an ending in them. Even when you kill a person I don't think that marks the end of their story. When a story ends all the characters in it die, but when you kill a person, you become part of their story. So as long as you, the killer, are still walking, their story is still being told." Alice rarely ever said her deep thought out loud. She enjoyed appearing like a naive child. In some aspects she was still very much a child, but she wasn't naive. It was kind of funny how one girl could be so young, but so old at the same time. All her past experiences had forced her to grow up in a way, and Alice knew it, which was part of the reason why subconsciously she clung onto certain childish ordeals. It wasn't fair that she lost her childhood. It wasn't fair how life was so cruel. None of it was fair, but that was how things were. Unfair, cold, and cruel. Since that's how it was Alice decided to become a manipulator of those things, but make them as fun as she could. What choice did a girl like her have?

J watched as her personality slowly started shifting. This was always intriguing to him, the idea of having two different personalities, in fact mentality itself was particularly fascinating, perhaps why he had fallen for a psychiatrist, albeit a crazy one. The Joker himself had several different personalities, and which face his subconscious let him use really depended on the day. It was inconstant and uncontrollable, perhaps part of a mental illness. Who knows? The only doctor who had ever been willing to examine or study the Joker had been Harley, and she had been more interested in impressing him than finding out what was wrong in his head. To her perhaps there was no problem, she saw him as perfect- he assumed- and he liked it that way. “You’ve changed your tune,” He commented resting his forearms on the table in front of him. He sighed once more as she continued. “Chaos,” He said simply. “You yearn for it, don’t you,” He laughed at her a little. She was going through exactly what he was technically still going through. The desire for revenge, against the human race. The Joker, over time, had managed to manifest most of his rage and anger into his fight against Batman, though Alice, her unbottled anger was dangerous even to J. Even in complete insanity there was method to the madness, she needed to learn to control it before she completely destroyed everything and got herself arrested. It’s not about slamming the door, it’s about leaving it slightly ajar because you know it will piss them off more knowing they will have to get up and close it.

J was slightly taken aback by her strange question about reading. He didn’t read often, not anymore. His mind briefly flicked back to a time once lost, when he was a father, reading that bedtime story to his kid before they slept. He didn’t yearn for that time to return, not in the slightest. He believed he was new and improved, a better version of himself. Someone not hindered by laws, or children. Free. He didn’t respond to her first question, for she didn’t give him chance to answer. Her second statement however, caught his attention. He looked down at her for a minute, thinking. “People,” He answered, entertaining the idea.

Her little philosophy was rather romantic for a young girl to be dreaming up. How long had this girl been alone? Long enough to come up with complex theories on murder and death. She clearly enjoyed books, basing her identity on one very particular heroine whom she decided to villainise. He didn’t particularly agree with the sentiment that as a killer, you continue the stories of those you have killed. He believed that when people died, they died. If their living was a nuisance to him he would stop them living simple as, not really giving the morality of it any particular thought. Perhaps that is what separated the truly insane from those that tried to make what they do seem morally right. The Joker, didn’t care about stories or endings. If a story had proved to be hindering his own, he would end it right then and there, usually with death. And that was it. The end. It was clear to J however, that Alice was clearly extremely intelligent, and would be an incredibly valuable asset. “Alice, Alice, Alice, my dear sweet Alice,” He slurred his words as he leaned forward to speak to her. “Exactly how long were you kept away from your books?” He asked her his eyes watching hers. He wanted to know her story, where she had come from, and why she at such a young age was so alone. Were there any parents he needed to worry about? People who would go looking for her? He simply had to know. The Joker rarely took the time to get to know anyone besides his beloved batman, but Alice was such a mystery he felt somewhat compelled to pick her brain for details. In the back of his mind, he wanted to know how she came to acquire such abilities and hoped that she included them in her tale. The Joker himself was infamous for being powerless, which rendered him rather useless against certain adversaries. With powers like hers, he would be invincible. But for now, he may have to settle with simply keeping her around.

Out Of Cadavers - After a while I'll bring in my other character briefly for the transaction of money (or wherever I was going with that plot line xD). I'm still struggling with being able to type out the Joker's mannerisms which is why he may seem a little bland. I'm working on it promise!! Also, sorry for double quoting sweatdrop

OOC: Oh I don't think he's bland! There are various ways to interpret the Joker and your interpretation definitely follows the Jared Leto version more. He's a complex character so I think there are a lot of ways for this character to be worked with. I always intended Alice to be a little disappointed when meeting the Joker from the start since it would allow her character to reflect on the reality of things. Help her realize that life isn't one big game like she wished.

When the Joker pointed out how she was beginning to sound different Alice stopped talking. She fell completely silent and just stared at him with a blank look as he spoke. She felt like she was revealing to much but at the same time she wondered if that was possibly a good thing. If anyone knew pain it would probably be the Joker. While Alice didn't know his backstory she figured that no man could naturally be at his level of crazy without some dramatic event. With this in mind she felt like the Joker might be one of the only people that could understand her pain. Despite not fully trusting him, she knew that she could at least relate to him.

After he asked her about her period of loneliness the air seemed to become thick as a long silence was spread between them. From the silence came a quiet caught from Alice. She looked down at her shoes and started chuckling, and soon the chuckle turned into full blown laughter. As she laughed water formed in her eyes, and it was clear that these tears weren't from the laughter at all but from Alice trying to contain the pain inside her. She continued to laugh until the tears became to much to hold back. She fell silent again, and then a few tear drops dripped slowly down her checks as she softly said, "I hate people. My creations are better. They are perfect."

The young girl wiped her eyes and saw in a reflection of herself in a nearby glass that she had rub off some of her make up. Not that it mattered. Alice didn't really have a life other than being Alice. When she wasn't in her make up she was just a homeless girl stealing or begging on the streets. She was a nobody at this point. All she had was her identity as Alice. "I only care about having fun, and if that leads to chaos then oh well. Plus I do like the sight of blood. It's such a pretty color." Alice said with a small smile as she touched the red lipstick on her lips gently. "I made this you know. Out of blood. Isn't it pretty?" She asked as she slowly removed her slim finger away from her lipid looked down at some of the redness the was left on it.

As she looked at her finger with admiration for the color she said, "Anyway if you want to know about me I'm sure a smart man like you with all the power he could ever want could just hire someone to investigate me. or scare the poor sap into doing it. I don't like thinking about old news because it no longer matters. Today is a new day, which means new games." Alice's eyes darted from her finger back to the Joker's face when she finished speaking. She didn't know why the Joker was asking her these questions when he could have just stole her DNA, had it tested, and read her file. It would be easy. "Here. I'lll make it say for ya. Call it a present." Alice said as she pulled on her haired ripped out not just one but a few blonde strands and gentle placed the thin golden locks on the table space between her and her idol. "I don't care if people find out about the girl I was because she's irrelevant now. She was weak, sad, and lost. I am much better now. I guess the one good thing that came out of all the pain I had to endure was my powers. I will admit though, I think it's super cool how you don't have powers yet you are one of the most dangerous criminal alive!" Alice said, returning to her cheerful and childlike self. "You wanna know a fun fact about me? While I do have these powers I actually find it really fun to kill by hand. I let my creations take care of the big problems, but once in a while, when it's one on one, I like to use knives to kill people. The feeling of their blood leaving their body and soaking my hands. Just thinking about it makes me feel all tingly and excited!"

J could tell that Alice was still haunted by her past, however horrific it may have been. He too had horrific memories, the pain, the torture the constant desire for something less than life. But finally, he only felt the numbness. The moment when he had stopped feeling had been a breath of fresh air and made him who he is today. Others call him a sociopath, J believes he is merely successful. The Joker listened to her statement. "I hate people. My creations are better. They are perfect." and he nodded slowly. She was completely alone, with no-one but her own thoughts which seemed to be personified into these ‘creations’. A lot like him he would say and he kind of admired her in a way. The way she tried to mask her fear with laughter, her sorrow for whatever wrong doing had befallen her. She just hadn’t found her purpose yet, like he had with the Bat. Perhaps why that is why she was trying to get the Hero’s attention, a distraction of sorts? The Joker, firstly went after Batman for it was he that had done this to him. It was he that had destroyed his life. But now? He wasn’t sorry for what became of him, in fact he revelled in it. And since Batman had done this to him, why not let him enjoy it as well? Play a little game with him! Like Alice went on to say, it was all for fun. The Joker had given a name to his pain, and it is Batman.

J looked at her makeup briefly, wondering who’s blood was currently painted on her lips. He too had tried to paint the streets red with blood. It was enthralling, a kind of power trip that men like him craved. To wear someone’s blood as lipstick? That was something he hadn’t thought of yet. He grinned, reaching over to touch her face with his finger, to take up some of the lipstick. He moved it up and down on her cheeks, creating a huge Glasgow scar effect on her cheeks. A nice, wide sickening smile. “You got a nice smile there…” He muttered with an eerie laugh before returning to his seat. “Now no-one will assume that you’re just…” He tilted his head to the side. “Broken.”

The Joker rolled his eyes and picked up the strands of hair from the table. “I don’t want nor care for your, 'DNA' ,” He told her, flicking in the strands onto the floor. He could have hired someone to do that for him, but why would he trust anyone with a task so important? Especially when he could trust no-one. “The past always matters, it’s what makes you Alice! And it’s beautiful,” He looked down at her as though he were peering over metaphorical glasses. “I don’t care who you were,” He admitted. He didn’t particularly care about her at all. He liked her powers. And he wanted to pick her mind a little, but that was all. He would get bored with this project eventually and forget about it like most. Just like he had with Harley years ago, he just hadn’t managed to get rid of her yet.

“It’s not always about murder,” He began looking towards her with excited eyes after her comment on killing. Of course he loved it as well, but to him it was only a small part of a very big picture. “Killing is easy, the outline of the painting, the real fun is in the game, the execution, the rest of the picture” He continued leaning forward. “The best way to play the game, is to find weakness and exploit it, make them question their own… morality. They’re all the same, they’re human. If you hate them so much, why not have a little fun?” He paused for a moment. “Do what other people only dream. Make art until someone dies. Use their blood to paint the ocean! See?” He wasn’t sure if he was making sense, then again when did anything that came out of his mind or mouth make sense.

Alice had never previously questioned her desires. Like a child she wanted instant gratification and so she acted based on her feelings. The smart side to her though, always made sure that her desires could be met without her getting in trouble though. The different sides to her seemed to be working peacefully until now. Until speaking to the Joker made her question herself and what she did. She hated having to think so much on something so painful.

For a brief moment though, the hurt faded as the Joker gently smudged Alice's lipstick, giving her a smile. She was a bit surprised that he was capable of giving such a soft touch, but was even more surprised at how comforted she felt by it. Having never achieved a gentle touch from her father in her whole life this was something new for Alice, and just like with most people new things were scary. While she grinned at the Joker's comment about her smile, behind it she felt uneasy. Why was the strange feeling she had inside? The warmth that was traveling through her body, what could it be? Why did she think about her father in the moment, and what he couldn't been, but what he never was nor ever will be? What was the reason she was even with the Joker now?

Hearing the word "Broken" did nothing to ease her spirits. Instead Alice stood up with wide, crazy looking eyes and screamed, "There's nothing wrong with me! " This yelling clearly wasn't out of anger though, more like she was triggered. Her hands shook at her sides as she clenched them into fists and even her lips seemed to quiver. Only after a brief moment of shaking, and noticing some heads turning to look at her, did Alice slowly sink back into her chair while softly giggling. "The rabbit hole, the rabbit hole, down deeper and deeper I fall. Alone I go, no one will know, how dark it is to fall." She softly sang to herself in a nursery rhyme kind of way.

As she sang she watched the Joker throw her hair off the table as if irrupted and go on about the importance of the past. His views weren't something could understand clearly, only because in her personal experience it was easy to just pretend to forget. To block the bad things out of your mind for as long as you can, and when they did come back take it out on others who are bad. In Alice's mind those other bad people were adults. It was adults who told kids lies only to break their hearts with the truth later. It was adults who set boundaries and rules. it was adults who committed the majority of crimes in the world. Adults were impure and cold. Kids were sweet and fun. That's what Alice believed. The past of an adult didn't matter. They were a kid once, but their own parents forced them to grow up and become like them, and once they did their childhood became irrelevant.

"I know it's not all about murder. It's about pain, and making sure they feel as much of it before they die. It's about freedom, and destroying those who prevent it. It's about being who I want to be, and doing what I want to do, no matter how many adults tell me to grow up!" Alice said, progressively getting more heated as she spoke. She wasn't getting mad at the Joker though, it was more like he was hyping her up. Making her desperate to feel the thrill of killing again. He was making her remember why she enjoyed killing.

As he went on about the thrill of messing with people Alice found herself forgetting her worries once more and truly smiling. She started laughing and at the end of the Joker's rambling applauded him. "Yes, yes! How fun!" She cheered like an entertained infant. "You are probably the most youthful adult I know! And that's why I like you! You still play games! You are still creative! I don't see you as a grown up. You're something special!" Alice said enthusiastically before standing up on her seat and twirling around. "This city need more fun! Less rules! Only then will their morals really be put to the test! They all judge us because of our ideas of fun, but don't doubt for a second that they wouldn't be like us too! I've seen the 'common man' and he is nothing but a killer!" She shouted between fits of laughter as she haunted her childish spinning. "Oh, wait. I never gave you an answer. I'll be a good girl just this once since I like you!" Alice said as she jumped down back into her seat and leaned in towards the center of the table. "My past, truthfully so much of it is a blur because I've been trying to forget it for years. Let's see... No mommy, a daddy that was a meanie, some electric shocks to my brain, some chemicals, and BAM!" As she said bam Alice slammed her hands hard against the table for a dramatic affect. "I become Alice. I go back and paint daddy red, and..." Alice purposely decided to leave her sister out of the story. While her sister was an important part of it, perhaps the most important part, it just stung to much. "That was it. I started reading about you in the papers and became inspired! I started creating friends who would go out with me and cause some chaos."

J sat back as she stood, in a short burst of rage arguing that there was nothing wrong with her. The Joker was silent, letting her compose herself before their conversation continued. The madness in her song was eerie and J watched with curiosity. It gave him such a marvellous idea, that he was sure she would agree to execute later. One of J’s… methods for taunting the bat was to leave videos of him taunting his ‘victims’. If the escapade in the park had worked earlier, the police would be concerned for Alice’s life and be searching for her right this moment. He could leak a video of Alice singing her song. They wouldn’t know what to think! They could get anything they wanted, bribe the bat with whatever. Money, jewels, but of course all J wanted was to mess with his beloved, and Alice could help him and he was sure she wouldn’t object. Then, when the Bat came for Alice. BOOM. She could show him what she’s made of. Of course he wouldn’t let her kill him, his idea was just for fun. “Pain, freedom, destruction, fantastic words, beautiful wonderful words, words just words, it’s all about actions,” He continued with a grin. J could almost sense her excitement.

Alice continued speaking and it seemed as though J had won her over. “I’ll take that as a compliment,” He conceded, not really comfortable with being deemed childish. The Joker laughed hysterically along with her, rocking back and forth in his seat. Their laughter was so loud it echoed over the music and they got some very peculiar stares from other tables. Eventually, Alice began talking and J stopped laughing almost as quickly. Almost as though his laughter had never been real. Was it ever? He wasn’t sure. Her story was intriguing. The subject of experimentation? He wouldn’t. certainly like to experiment on her now. It seemed she didn’t know what made her this way, she had probably been unconscious for the most part. And her first kill had been her father? Mad. Her storytelling skills were quite adept, she really was a child at heart and it was fun to watch. He began laughing again after her story. Not to far from his own, though he had fallen into chemicals whilst he was trying to commit a robbery – not so innocent. Alice came from purity, and he thought that was beautiful. “Tell ya what kid,” He began. “Stick with me for a while, we can be partners?” He suggested folding his arms and putting his right foot on his left knee. “I won’t tell you what to do or nothing, I promise,” He lied. “We can play with the bat, make him hurt like you did, like we did, like he should. The Bat has never lost anyone we know of, it’s time he paid. And you can help me,” Once the Joker started rambling about the Bat there was no stopping him. His obsession with Batman was more than hatred or loathing. It was fascination and desire. He had a big old crush on the big guy in a sick way. No no he didn’t want him dead of course not, he wanted him to feel, he wanted to own him. The Joker wanted to confuse the batman so badly that he too went insane. There would be no greater victory than seeing Batman behind bars in Arkham, dressed finely in a strait jacket where he could rip of his mask in triumph.

OOC: I love these two! Do you think harley will get mad that her Mr. J is partnering up with some kid instead of see ding time with her? xd

♚ ♛ ♜

Alice felt rather flattered at the Joker's word. He seemed to really like her, and that made her feel even more warm inside. All her friends had come from her head before, but maybe now she could have an actual friend that wasn't going to disintegrate by the end of the day. Maybe she could finally have something that would last forever. No longer would she be alone. No longer would she suffer in silence. She could share her pain with her idol, and maybe eve with harley if the two got along. Honestly Alice has always had a love hate thing for Harley. She loves how carefree she is, and how she can keep up with the Joker, but she hates the fact that harley had never experienced true pain. Everyone knew that harley was once a doctor at Arkham Asylum and that's where she met the Joker. From there she fell for him and went crazy, a real insane Romeo and Juliet story. Just without the death. However, Alice could tell with one look at the Joker in the news with her that he didn't love her. At least not completely. She could tell that they shared a bond, a connection, but it wasn't what she believed romantic love was. Then again what would she know about romantic love? She had never been interested in a man or a woman in any romantic or sexual way before, and she never planned to be.

However, something about Harley and the Joker just never seemed...in sync. The two worked together well but always seemed to be on slightly different levels. They worked side by side but never truly with each other if that made sense. Alice figured it was because Harley came from a decent background. She had a good job, an average life as far as she was concerned, now it was possible that she had a hard family life, but Alice doubted she ever went through actual torture like she did. She doubted that she'd been to the darkest parts of her mind and back. And that made Alice want to hurt her. Hurt her a lot. Maybe then she'd be perfect for the Joker. Maybe then they could fall in actual love, not that it mattered to Alice either way.

"I only speak what is the truth that the rest of Gotham is to stupid to realize. And yes, please take my words as being good because they are! It's wonderful to be a kid! So carefree! Without worries! I never want to grow up!" She said cheerfully as she swung her legs back and forth under the table.

Then, after the laughter of the two subsides, came what Alice never expected to hear but was glad to be told. The Joker asked her to team up with him. This brought a smile that seemed both joyful yet disturbing onto Alice's face. She giggled softly and nodded her head extremely fast in response. "Of course! Working alone is ok since I can do what i want, but I bet you have tons of fun ideas! I want to learn from the master of games himself!" Alice replied right before the Joker went on about messing with the Bat. "Ooooo sounds fun! Hey, hey if you don't mind me asking..." Alice said before she learned in close to the Joker and whispered in his ear, "You killed one of the old Robins right? beat him to death? Honestly I want to mess around with this new Robin. From what I've heard he's so serious despite being such a little guy. I want to show him what fun is!" Alice loved kids, and to her a kid was anyone younger than her. Now some may think that meant she loved torturing kids but it was just the opposite. Alice truly cared about kids, and wanted to give as many kids the best life that she believed they could have. And in her mind that meant killing their parents to give them freedom. She figured that if she could get into Robin's head, maybe she could make him go mad and kill the Bat himself. Would that be hilarious!? To watch the Bat's stunned faced as his own sidekick murders him!? it would be great! Plus, if Alice succeeded, she figured she'd be best friends with Robin afterward. They both could be like insane siblings and go on killing sprees together! Oh what fun!

The Joker barely remembered what being a kid felt like. He remembered segments but he had spent most of his adult life making up his past. Claiming that if he was going to have a past, he’d rather it were ‘multiple choice’. That’s probably why people found him so mysterious. Nobody knew who he was, what he had been through. The Joker would probably never tell, though Alice was right. The person he had been before was worthless, it was him now that counted. He was kind of a hypocrite. Here he was preaching the importance of the past and also here he was with no past to remember. It didn’t matter anyway, he was the Joker. Alice was clearly on the top of the world right now, she seemed extremely excitable, and though slightly annoying, he could deal with it. Even buy into it a little.

J’s lips spread into a wide smile as she accepted. “Tons and tons and tons!” He enthused throwing his arms in the air a little. “Master of games huuh? I like that title,” He said with a nod, frowning with approval. The Joker then began to get a little excited, and began waffling on and on about his desire to mess with the Bat. He did this often. But normally he was by himself. Or with Harley. Though more often than not he doesn’t even realise she’s there then got pissed when she responded. But today however, he wanted Alice to respond and grinned wildly when she did. Her question though, caught his attention. “My my, someone’s been doing their reading,” He stated. The boy he killed was Robin indeed, one of Batman’s closest companions. The Joker didn’t really care beyond that. “With a crowbar,” He smiled proudly. “His so called mother watched, she didn’t even try to stop me!” He boasted, though his statement was mostly true. He had tied up the kids mother, but even so she didn’t say anything. She just let it happen. He had killed the mother shortly after, her lack of reaction had bored him, he wasn’t getting any gratification out of her so his natural reaction was to get rid of the baggage. Though Robins reactions were a lot more interesting, he had still wanted more and sent a horrific letter containing his actions to Batman and unusually the location where he was keeping him. Of course the Bat immediately came to the rescue but it was too late. Robin was dead. “Though he actually died in an explosion,” J corrected pointing in the air. “It was romantic,” He sighed deeply. But then he’d come back. And tried to kill him in front of Batman. The whole ordeal had failed, for him anyway and J almost died because of a bomb. How Romantic. J had enjoyed watching the pair fight over him, it was comforting. If your rival didn’t care about you, then what was the point of fighting? He decided to leave these details out. Alice then continued.

Alice wanted the new Robin? She could have Robin for all he cared. The Joker only cared for the robin when it gave him personal advantage. The new Robin was dull. Like Alice said he was too serious. Perhaps this could be an advantage? If they knew who Robin was, then they could find Batman. And if they knew who batman was…. Well. The Joker would have a lot of fun with that information. “That can be our little project,” He chuckled. J could see her mind whirring with possibilities, he could see it in her mind. “What are you thinking?” He asked simply looking down at her.

It was then that the short man came back. “She’s here…sir, th- th- the Director” He uttered nervously, holding his hands together in front of him. The Joker turned his head slowly to face the man, his eyes locking with his. “She? I wasn’t aware that ‘The Director’ was a she,” He questioned, lifting his chin a little before simply turning to face the wall behind Alice. There was a clear shift in J’s personality. From those he somewhat trusted to those he simply didn’t like very much. The man ran off to fetch the woman whilst the Joker and Alice simply waited.

Cassandra had been particularly busy as of late, jumping from employer to employer. Usually, Cass spent her time luring people into interesting yet safe places to find intriguing ways to murder them however today she was simply running errands for an anonymous employer and it was utterly dull. She almost wanted to simply take the envelope, of what she assumed was cash, and do a runner but she knew she wouldn’t. She prided herself on promoting a trustworthy service and would probably kill a man, or several to get this package delivered on time. Cass had no clue whom she was delivering it to. She received a text about thirty minutes ago from the boss with a location and time. Already armed with the package she had left almost immediately, taking back roads as to avoid the police because that idiotic clown and some kid had been causing trouble. See Cassandra was smarter than that. She was discreet, and often worked anonymously though she always got the job done- without her face on every television screen in Gotham.

Getting ready had been difficult as she hadn’t long to do it. Sometimes she hated getting business calls so late in the day and so short notice. Cass had only just gotten out of her lavender scented bath water when she read that the text had been sent five minutes before. She had thrown on a black dress, flapper style, and put a band around her hair which was naturally curly. Her makeup was simple also, though it looked rather business like unlike her outfit, and was completed with a touch of red lipstick. Boom she was ready, bar putting on her knee length fur coat. Upon leaving her little apartment she turned off the lights and locked the door behind her, tucking the package discreetly in her bag.

Cassandra walked to the club, it was easier than getting a cab and she didn’t have the money at the minute. Not until the Director got around to paying her. What kind of stupid name was the ‘Director’ anyway. She sighed, walking up to the queue and waiting in line for a while until she was finally at the front. Upon showing the security guard a pass she had been given she walked in, and was greeted by a short fellow in a pin stripe suit that didn’t quite fit. “Ma’am,” He began. “You are?” He asked raising a brow. “On behalf of the Director,” She told him. It had to be a code name or something. The male left for a few moments and then returned. “Would you like to follow me,” He smiled at her and held his hand out in the direction he was headed. The lights in the club were blinding and the music was too loud and senseless for anyone to enjoy. Cassandra grimaced as she was led through a procession of dancers whom smelt wildly of BO. Whatever happened to the ballroom dancing and classical music of the 1800's? Or the 1920's Charleston! Anything was better than this drivel. As Cassandra followed the man, he stopped beside a booth where, from behind, she could see a man with green hair. He seemed to be alone, though she could only see the back of his head above the seat. She sighed heavily, hoping it wasn’t who she thought it was.

To her dismay when she rounded the corner, it was him. The clown himself. Cassandra huffed to herself for a moment. She and the Joker had never met, and she hoped she never did. Reckless, totally reckless. She could report him to the police and be praised as a hero! But she knew she wouldn’t. Again, she was trustworthy. A bad trait for a villain to have perhaps, but she stuck by it. But then again, he was attractive. She could see what the harlequin was all over him for. But at the end of the day, he was mad. Her eyes flickered from the joker to the form of a young girl. He had seen her on the news. It didn’t seem as though she was kidnapped like some suspected. She raised an eyebrow at her curiously before she took a seat opposite them both. Removing her coat and leaving it on the chair next to her she spoke. “I am instructed to only give you the present if you promise not to burn it,” She told him, moving to retrieve the money from her bag. She placed the package on the table and moved it over to him. She tried not to seem nervous, but who was she to lie. She was partially terrified, though her amateur dramatics classes had taught her how to act in stressful situations, though nothing could calm her heart beat. The Joker seemed unresponsive, so she continued talking but directed more at the girl. “Alice? The city is looking for you,” She said in a questioning but playful tone with a chuckle. She assumed that she hadn’t been kidnapped, she didn’t look particularly frightened.

Out Of Oranges- Cassandra will be gone after a few posts. Wanted to get this out of the way xD I don't like rping with myself...

OOC: Oh I'm fine with Cassandra. I have role-played with myself in the past before in certain scenes and I don't mind it. Whatever it takes to move the story along smile

Alice listened intensely as the Joker went on and on about Batman. She could see clearly now that this was what it was all about. The two of them. It all made so much sense now. The Joker could hands down destroy this whole city in a night if he wanted to, but why didn't he? Because of Batman. If Gotham was gone there would be no playing field for the two of them, and no playing field means no more games, and if the Joker was anything like Alice thought he wouldn't be able to live with that. Alice understood. She needed a place to play games too. And Gotham suited her just fine. But now she felt a little worried. Could two different villains share the same playing field? Maybe if they were playing the same game, and by the sound of it, that's what the Joker was proposing.

"You really like toying with the Bat huh? Sounds nice. To have a playmate like that." Alice could tell that the Joker's connection with Batman was more than just a villain trying to defeat a hero. He was trying to make a point using Batman, or maybe even make a point to Batman. What exactly that was she wasn't sure of yet but was pretty sure in time she could figure it out.

Upon hearing the Joker seemingly approve of Alice's request to mess with Robin Alice giggled, and even more the Joker seemed fascinated to hear what he plan was. Never before had anyone taken an interest in her like this! It was great! "Well... I usually base my creatures off of things from my dreams, but I can make them look however I want. I can even make them look like clones of people." Alice said with another quick giggle. "I've done it before. Made clones of children that I saw in parks or on the streets to play with me. If I get a real good look at Batman I can probably make a clone of him and lure out Robin. Once I have Robin... well... I'll make it up as I go." Since Alice loved kids she actually figure that she start off by trying to appeal to the child in Robin. She's offer him endless fun and games and see if his inner youthfulness was triggered, but if he refused to let the joy of being a kid into his heart, well then she'd have to force it into him with whatever methods she felt necessary.

As they were discussing their plans for Robin a woman was mentioned. Someone called "the Director". "is she the one who owes you money?" Alice asked as she watched the man who had arrived to tell them the news leave to go and get her.

Introduce a little anarchy. Upset the natural order and everything becomes c h a o s.

Batman believed that he just wanted to destroy everything and he was far from wrong. The Joker had even told him, whilst he was interrogating him. “I don’t want to kill you! What would I do without you… you complete. Me,” He had said. Those words exactly, and he had meant every single one. He laughed as she claimed that he enjoyed having Batman. He did, he really, really did. J listened to her go on, and her words were like music to his ears. That would really work in his favour, having clones of people. The confusion on his face when it isn’t real! Priceless! He could picture it now. They could make anyone! The possibilities! “That’s, a brilliant idea,” He grinned.

Soon conversation turned as the woman arrived. “Yes,” He responded to Alice. Soon she arrived, taking a hesitant seat across from him. Thankfully she got straight down to business, he wasn’t in the mood to talk. As long as he got what he wanted from her, that’s all that mattered. He watched as she handed the money over. “I don’t do promises,” He voiced as he reached to grab the envelope, handing it to the sheepish man stood next to the table. “Count it,” He ordered. There was a moment of silence for this woman spoke again, this time of Alice. He scowled at her. “Don’t make assumptions that have nothing to do with you,” He laughed lightly though his expression never faltered. He was oddly serious. This woman clearly wasn’t her boss, and he didn’t particularly care. The man looked up after counting. “500,000 dollars,” He said in a shocked voice. “Five hundred thousand,” The joker repeated. “Wow, wonder what I did to deserve that!” He smiled clasping his hands in front of him. “Burn it Jeeves,” He said to the man whom looked at him with his mouth open. “Burn it,” He repeated. The man took the money away, throwing the cash into the fire. The joker merely laughed, before returning his gaze back to the woman. “Bye bye,” He said with a small wave. He didn’t want the money, it satisfied him to know what this man, was 500 thousand dollars less rich. What would he do with that kind of money? Buy a house? Go to Disney land? Before she left, he grabbed her arm and slipped a card into her hand.

He turned back to Alice. "What would you like to do first?" He asked. It was a long night ahead of them, and there was fun to be had!

The woman looked down at the table awkwardly, mumbling a feint apology. “Sorry,” she managed to get out. Cassandra stared at the Joker dumbfounded when he asked the guy to burn the money. How dare he? What kind of man burnt 500 grand. Cassandra simply pouted, not wanting to piss the man off in front of her. She could have taken it herself for all he cared! Cassandra, sighed. “Bye bye indeed,” She said clearly annoyed, before putting on her coat and exiting the club. She had other, frankly more important places to be that night. She jumped as he grabbed her arm, his cold fingers wrapping around her wrist. "What are you..." She stopped, hurrying forward once he let go to find a single joker card tucked between her fingers. What a creep.
