Some of our characters seem to have gone rogue and need to be reigned in with an owner all for themselves.

Adoption Process
|| If you want to claim one of the available official adoptables in this thread, post an application in their information thread for our staff to look over.
|| If you want to claim one of the available player-made characters in this thread, simply start a quest thread for them.
|| Once started, the staff will look it over, ask questions, and help fine tune the character with you.
|| If the character is seen to be satisfactory, then congrats! You're approved and you'll be able to keep your newest character all for yourself.
|| Once approved, you'll be given a journal and can start playing!
Rules and Regulations
Now there are some rules and stipulations when applying for adoptables.
|| You can only apply for one adoptable at a time. This includes official adoptions and player-made adoptions.
|| Official adoptables do not open during shop events. The event will have to end before any new official adopts will be released. (does not apply to player-made adoptions)
|| Official adoptions are clean slates. They can have any name, personality, etc you want.
|| You cannot RP with an adoptable before they are approved by staff and a journal is created. If you do, your application for the character will be removed.
|| Do NOT post in this thread. Forms should be PMed to Ainuhea, applications should be in a quest thread, and questions can be PMed, posted in FAQ, or in the main thread.

Official Adoptions
Official adoptions are back stocked characters usually distributed between events. We like to see our characters be used and it breaks our hearts for them to be sitting around in our folders collecting dust.
Availability
|| We release adoptables randomly throughout the year (except when there is an official event going on).
|| We will start a thread in the quest forum with the requirements for applying and where applications should be dropped. Owners will be able to apply for the adoptable for 5 days after announcing the new arrivals. After the 5 days, the entries will be looked over and one winner will be picked. This winner will be able to claim the adoptable and continue with being critiqued from the staff until approved.
|| Official adoptions come with a price. The art is already completed and ready to go, so while it's not as expensive as a custom, the price is 5bil. We like to think that this limits applications to dedicated owners.
|| The price will not be collected until an owner has been announced, but will not be returned if you fail to set up their journal.
|| If one month has passed after the approval of an official adoptable and the owner has not completed their journal set-up, the adoptable will be removed and put back into the adoption rotation.

Player-Made Adoptions
Have inspiration for a character that you really just don't have time to play? Maybe your own character has family members or friends that are important to his/her story. Here, you may put up ideas for other people to claim.
|| If you want to claim one of the characters in this thread, simply start a quest thread for them. The character's original creator will need to give approval along with a member of Kahikina's staff in order for your quest to be approved.
|| Player-made adopts, like customs, must have art before their growth timer can start.
|| Only one person can apply for a particular player-made adoptable at a time.
|| Player-made adoptables can only be held for one month. If there is no response to critique, or if they have not left UC status after one month, the adoptable goes back to available (and the previous quester will have to wait 2 weeks before they can try again for the same adopt.
|| The rest of the rules for adoptions are in the first post.
|| If you have a character that you want to put up for adoption, simply PM Ainuhea with the following form. You may fill out as much or as little of it as you see fit, leaving parts up to whoever claims the character:[size=11][color=#395c84]

[b]Race:[/b] [Are they pure-blooded or a rare mixed critter?]
[b]Gender:[/b] [Male, Female, or Androgynous]
[b]3 Base Traits:[/b] [The three dominant points in your character's personality.]
[b]Personality:[/b] [Expanding might help you find those three base traits. Try to keep it balanced and realistic. Have a few positive and a few negative traits.]
[b]Description:[/b] [What does he/she look like?]
[b]Clothing:[/b] [What are they wearing? Remember to keep the race's resources in mind!]
[b]Accessories:[/b] [Does your character always carry something with them? What and why? Perhaps it's a practical satchel or a sentimental necklace. For the most part, children will be allowed one accessory to start with, but others may be added on as they grow.]
[b]History:[/b] [They start young, but everyone has a story. This won't have much effect on your character's appearance, but it may help you start fleshing him/her out.]
