Haukea was trying to get to know everyone, seeing as she'd be queen one day. Of course, she wasn't going to advertise that her and Urztin were a couple. It was a touchy subject, she realized. She didn't want lions to think she was only with him because of the title. It was not the case. Urztin was amazing. They tried to keep their life private from everyone, and it was harder than she had originally thought.

She smiled and continued on with her head up and her eyes forward. One day, things would be quite different, she realized. Her tail flicked back and forth as she moved about the snow, The summer months were the time of less traveling about. Dangers hid in all areas of the land. There hasn't been that much of an issue though. The sun was high in the sky, and there were no clouds to be seen. It felt nice upon her thick fur.

Elerosse had found himself coming across Haukea. He hadn't really known her, but he knew her parents. "good morning, Haukea." He said with a bow at her. She seemed to be lost in her own thoughts when he approached her, but he wasn't shy about interrupting such things. He wasn't to be shy about anything, honestly. "How are you doing on this fine summer morning?" He asked her. He was harder to see than most lions, as he was almost as white as the snow below him.

On gray days, he was even harder to see, but that was what the pride wanted. To be hidden in case someone came that wanted to hurt them. That was something they had yet to encounter. But, who knows. Someone might be able to see through the illusions of the goddess. Or perhaps their intentions kept hidden. It was something he didn't think about alot though.

Haukea saw the male and smiled. "Elerosse, Good to see you." She said as she was snapped out of her thoughts. She may have looked a bit more focused than she had thought she did, but perhaps not. He had addressed her with no issues. "What can I do for you?" She asked him as she stopped near where he was standing. He was a lion that her parents knew, but she herself didn't talk to him every often. This was a chance to get to know him a little better.

"I'm doing quite well, thank you!" she said with a small smile upon her face. " How are you doing?" She asked him in return. It was nice to have a bit of a small chat on a slow day. It wasn't much of morning anymore, but perhaps the lion had just woken up.

He shrugged and smiled at her. "I just happened to spot you while I was on my walk." he said with a chuckle. "I didn't mean to startle you, if I did." he was sure he didn't. For the most part, everyone was pretty laid back. There were a few faces here and there that weren't as relaxed as they should be. But that was how life was sometimes. Sachin, for instance. He was a grumpy lion that didn't belong here, but he was here none the less and someone the king trusted more than he'd let anyone know.

That was okay with him, however. It wasn't like he'd run into the lion willingly. "I'm doing quite good, for the most part" He nodded. "What brings you out here?"

Haukea grinned at the other, so today was just a day for wondering around the pride for the both of them. "I'm just out for a walk as well" She spoke with a nod. Things were quite strange, that way. She giggled and looked at the male and shook her head slightly. It was funny how those things worked. She curiously looked at him then out into the distance for a moment. "Perhaps you'd like to join me for a walk?" She asked him.

Might as well walk together, after all. "That way we're not walking alone" she said with a nod. It was a good idea, and it made sense to her. Perhaps he'd agree. If not, that was okay too. She knew that some lions like their space.

He'd humor her a little, he nodded and agreed to her offer. "That sounds like a swell idea." He said with a smile. He started walking, leading the way to their unknown destination. He was the male, after all. If some sort of danger popped out, he'd be the first to see it and react to it. It was sort of a protecting thing, though he wasn't the one to actually protect anything. He wasn't much of a fighter. Though he'd try if needed.

"I haven't walked with someone in a while." He admitted. He was sue to walking alone from time to time. But that didn't bother him. He was in the search for his partner in crime. However long it would take him.

She smiled bigger than she had all day. "Excellent!" She hadn't walked with someone in a while and it'd be a different experience. "I haven't either, shall be a good. "Today is a good day to be walking!" She said as she followed the lion down the way. Most everyone was either in the main area in front of the caves, or inside the caves.

"I needed to stretch my legs, and seeing as today isn't as hot as yesterday." She said as she rambled on. It wasn't like it was a bad thing to ramble. She didn't think so. It was better than the silence that could happen. They were heading towards the caves now, the walk was almost over when she actually ran into him, but it was still nice to walk with someone even a short distance.

"It is nice to walk with someone once in a while." he said with a chuckle. They both seemed to be without a companion, but hopefully that would change for the both of them. "Stretching legs is quite nice" He said as they weren't too far from the cave entrances. It was a nice walk, even if short. "Today is quite the day for walking." despite that it was snowy all over the place, once you've lived in an area long enough, you start feeling warm when the sun comes out.

"Perhaps next time we can walk a little longer." he said as he stopped at the entrance of the cave. He would allow her to walk in first.

Haukea nodded and smiled at him. "I'd love for a longer walk another time. A raincheck." She said with a smile. "Or would it be a snowcheck?" She giggled at her own stupidity. Sometimes it was good to just laugh at yourself. Her tail swished back and forth then she entered the cave and turned around. "Until next time, Elerosse." She said with incline of her head.

With that, she turned back towards the inside and disappeared into the darkness of the cave.
