Mara stared at the trail all blurry eye as she started making her way up it. She had a nice 20 minute nap in the cab before he informed her he wouldn't drive up into the mansion close to Sanctuary or even outside of Sanctuary itself.
Had she known this she would have made sure to get someone else, the point of hiring the taxis was so she could rest and not have to make the way up by foot herself it made her almost tempted to....actually why not? (( Shadow jump: 3 left)
Reappearing outside the mansion she smirked slightly as her own cleverness as she knocked on the mansion door, schooling her expression to one of mild interest as she waited.

Leukos was buried in a mountain of comforters that used to be Melody's bed when she stayed there, clutching a pillow and curled up, music playing softly from the mp3 player stereo on the nightstand, a fusion of classical and light mixes of hip hop. He appeared to be very asleep as he grumbled in his sleep a bit as there was an audible knock on the door.
"I'll get it!!~ <3 " a cheerful young female voice exclaimed excitedly with a chipper attitude, scurrying from one of the room and skipping down the hallway, her hooves clacking against the wooden floor and the sound of the bell around her neck as she made her way to the front door of the mansion.
Leukos grumbled again, "...yeah sure... whatever..." he mumbled, burying himself from beneath the covers further, still half asleep.
"Okie-dokie then!!" she opened the door and stared up at Mara with a bright little smile on her face. Standing there was a 4'11" teenager with long curly black hair and tan colored ram horns, her yellow eyes taking in Mara's face as she then waved. "What can I do for you?" she asked with a happy voice.
It took a moment before Leukos really started to wake up, and putting the pieces together. His eyes widening as he threw the blankets off of him and scrambled to his feet. "Aw s**t!!" he cursed and swung the door open, running out into the hallway to stop her, but finding himself a bit to late as Mara was standing in the doorway. "M-mara!!" he stuttered out almost in fear at the situation itself.

The mild intrest turned into faint surpise as a cheerful young teenage meta opened the door. Giving her a quick look over she took a step back and glanced up at the building, yep...yep this was the one she left Leukos at. Looking back down at the girl she frowned faintly as she meet the slitted yellow gaze without a flinch.
"Hello, I am looking for Leu-.....and talk of the devil there he is" a hint of warning in her voice as she spotted the rainbow haired cambion shirtless in pajama pants in the hallways. "It's only been .....I am pretty sure less than a week and you already replaced Melody and hit the very messy and troublesome cambion puberty? Sh** . Well Hi dear...... What ever he said ...want to come with me? Beat up things, get attacked randomly in the night by psychopath malices and eat cookies? It will be much more fun than staying with him " she smiled at the ram horned meta even as she gave a "we're going to talk" look at Leukos while smiling.

A deep red color of embarrassment set in on his face that quickly turned to anger as he glared at the little ram girl. "You little-... How did you get in my house, THIS time?!" he forced out through gritted teeth. Looking to Mara. "It's not what it looks like, Mara..I... I didn't replace Melody!!" he assured in a slight panic.
The little ram looked up at Mara and smiled big with a nod, "Yeah!! I'll go with you!!" she agreed happily, her slight bounce causing the bell on her collar to jingle again.
"Oh no you're not!" Leukos insisted, walking over and grabbing her by the horn as she yelped slightly. "Not until you show her what you really look like!" he demanded with an angry and stern voice.
"Ow! Stop! You're hurting me, Lulu!" she whined as he tugged at her horn. "You're mean, I'm going to go with her if you don't stop!!" she added in a fragile voice, tears in her eyes.
"Are you serious?! Why are you trying to make me look bad?!?!" he yelled, letting go of the girl and taking step back realizing how bad this looked. "Look, Mara. You don't understand. She's not even suppose to be here... I don't know how she keeps getting into the mansion, but... she doesn't normally even look like this!!" he tried to explain in a fury of shame and regret for everything playing out.

Mara stared between them, her eyes narrowing slightly as Leukos grabbed the girl's horns and pulled her back. She moved in to grabbed him then stopped and looked between them again, a look of suspicion on her face. The shame and regreat on Leukos face was not helping but neither was the flip flop of the girl either.
You're mean, I'm going to go with her if you don't stop!!"
Mara stepped back to where she was and crossed her arms, frowning.m"Now what ever I think he may have done doesn't change the fact that as far as i've known him he tries to do good even if it might be misguided. So ...you. What is your true form and why are you here?" stern and tired, assuming they must have come from Sanctuary but her previous accusation might still be true.

The girl laughed, "She's just like in your dreams! But you like that!" she commented, running around Leukos happily.
Leukos's rose shade turned bright red and the color in his hair flared to brighter hues. "Stop trying to embarass me!" he demanded then grabbed the girl by the arm, looking her in the eyes with anger. "Show her what you look like." he growled.
She blinked innocently at Leukos, being grabbed as she squeaked a bit. She looked to Mara who's arms were folded and demanded the same. Her true form. She frowned before realizing there was no way out of this, the gig was up. A smile formed on her lip, a bit more devious now as her horn slowly turned black and her hair straightened and her eyes narrowed into a slender and more amorous look as her body grew to about 5'3", into that of an adult. "I like my other form better... Leukos likes my other form better..." she commented, her voice more mature.
"I don't." he retorted bluntly.
She pulled her arm away from his grasp only to drape herself around his arm. "I'm his girlf-.."
"She's not." he cut her off quickly, a sharp voice as he glared at her. Obviously, she wasn't going to spill why she was there. "She's a true race cambion named Oron... She keeps breaking into the mansion and trying to get into bed with me by I've told her several times I'm not interested..." he explained calmly. It was clear he was ashamed of even saying all that, but he needed it to be clear where he stood and who she was. "Enough about her... Not that I'm not happy to see you, but why are you here and where is Melody?" he asked, coldly with a hint of concern. Moving away from Oron and grasping her arm once more to hold her in place.

"Oh ...." Mara said looking at Oron as she changed from the bouncy goat meta girl to a more mature true race cambion. "....I stand by my words of very messy and troublesome puberty for Cambions " she said mildly, eyes still narrowed as she pulled out her phone. "You. Shoo. Or I am calling the police for trespassing and sexual harassment " she said glaring at Oron.
"I am here for reasons and Melody is fine " she said not looking away from Oron as she started to give her the same look she had been giving Leukos earlier. Of course they could have been together and it was none of her buisness but the fact that she seemed to be trying to hard to seduce him and he looked ready to barricade himself inside a couch..something that reminded her of a certain arch in similiar circumstances made her want to believe him at least for now. In which case .... Unwanted person on the premises and for once it's not her!

Oron frowned, looking from Mara to Leukos. "Fine.." she muttered quietly.
Leukos watched her carefully as he let go of the girl's arm. "Leave."
She pouted at him, then looking at her and sighed. She walked past Mara without another word and seemingly wandered off into the trees and disappearing from sight completely.
Leukos sighed with relief, as Oron left. "It usually takes a lot more to convince her to leave.. I honestly have to say I'm relieved she seems to be afraid of you..." he muttered then sighed again. "...so reasons.... What's going on?..." he would have continued to question about Melody but he trusted Mara's word about her being okay.

"Dear, sweet sweet Leukos. That wasn't fear ...I didn't even pull out my gun. Nope that is -I don't want obvious trouble but I'm staying until that old ugly witch of a human leaves then use what ever she says to torment you until forever-. That is also contempt ...Recognize it, you will meet it again. So...why don't you show me inside and we can talk a bit more" she said looking to where Oron disappeared into and pretty sure that was still the same property but at least she was gone from sight.
Shaking her head she turned to look at Leukos with a frown, lone male teen that was at least 1/2 of Oron's species. Many of them were okay but there was still quite a few that still confirmed the stereotype. "Well?" She raised her brow as she looked inside then at Leukos. "Inviting me in?"

Leukos frowned, "I can dream, can't I..." he muttered to himself as he stepped aside to let her in. He immediately moved to the dining room, motioning to the table as he moved into the kitchen and began to make coffee as part of his morning ritual. After a few minutes, he moved back into the dining room with two cups of coffee and set one in front of Mara and sat down with his, using the sugar and cream on the table to make his cup to his liking before sighing. "So.. tell what's been going on..." he spoke softly, sipping his coffee and leaning back in his chair. Leukos was worried about what he was going to hear, but kept an open mind about it all. He honestly hadn't expected Mara to come back this quickly unless Melody had dragged her here for a visit.

As Leukos returned he would have noticed Mara staring out the window a faint frown on her face as she lightly dug her nail into the wooden sill before pulling back and tapping her index finger once and digging again. Shaking her head she turned to look back at him, gold eyes reflecting her exhaustion that had not been there during the encounter.
Moving to the table she looked down at the cup off coffee and sighed, reaching out to put her finger into the hoop of the cup then letting go as if deciding on something. "Humor me for a bit... I'll like to jump us somewhere. Do you mind? " she muttered, used to none of the other metas mentioning any indication that they were surpised about her powers that she forgot if Leukos knew or not.

Taking another sip of coffee, he listened to her before blinking at her in slight sense of surprise before relaxing his gaze. "Yeah.. that's fine... Let me at least get some clothes on first..." he commented softly, getting up to move to the bedroom, getting dressed and retrieving his headphones, mp3 player, and cellphone before moving back into the dining room calmly. "Let's go." he relayed that he was ready to go when Mara was, fully trusting her in this situation.

Watching him return she nodded quietly and extended her senses as far as it would go before pulling the shadows in the area to jump them to the furthest end of Sanctuary, right up near the cliff side in the shadow of a tree. She sense around again, looking for the shadows of any standing humanoids before relaxing. She knew she wouldn't be welcomed but hoping it was far out enough not to be caught by any of the inhabitants. "There " she muttered moving forward to sit in the grass and stare at the sea.
"Melody is okay. More than okay....she saved me ..yesterday?" She looked thoughtful then nodded. " Kage decided to come back and steal Hexxis and make me shoot myself. Melody healed me and again she is fine.... But it has made me realize I need more people there. I need more experienced people and while you and them aren't excatly on that list ...I am going to start trying. In short...even if you have Kira, spy extraordinar in you. Do you want to come join Melody and the others? " she said glancing toward him, maybe she was doing this because he reminded her so much if Tri...and she missed him being there ..plus he would have stopped her from trying to kill the kiddies.....that generator cost ..urg.

Leukos remained calm as they jumped within the shadows. He recognized this place vaguely, somewhere within the sanctuary it seemed. Mara moved to sit in the grass overlook the ocean as he looked at her with a glimmer of concern and moved to sit next to her. He listened to her carefully, how she kept reassuring that Melody was okay. Although, he appeared to be very worried about the part where Mara was made to shoot herself and how Hexxis had been taken. He listened to her offer and then leaned his head on her shoulder gently for just a moment, careful that his horns didn't hurt her. "I'm really glad that you are okay." he mumbled, contemplating saying more but deciding against it for the moment and lifting his head calmly and looked out over the ocean.
"Kira... my mother... she's both around and not around... right now, she's not. But sometimes she is when I want her to be. I've played with my powers a lot over the last few days, trying to understand what happened. Why she's there... I am not only able to call her, but I can call others at my will and under my command. It's temporary and I can will them away if I so wish. So where as Melody will always have her same Mane and they will be connected, I am only a temporary anchor. I control spirits." he paused for a moment to think. "I have not tried it, since without Melody... I was for the most part alone... but I think I can control all spirits. Manes and Malices." he tried to explain. "I don't know if that would be useful to you at all.... But I can see them too... well, I've always been able to do that... see them, talk to them, feel them.... It's weird."
He was silent for a bit then took a steady breath, looking to Mara, "I want to come join you and Melody and the others." he answered, "If you'll have me.." he added, a bit of a grateful smile starting in on his face.

Mara looked faintly surpised at the act of affection, had he stayed like that a little longer she would have been tempted to reach up and pat his head as she would have either Tri or Ree. It was hard to remember sometimes that they might look older but some of them still had facets that were child like in many ways and with that the comfort of knowing they were still wanted. At least it seemed to her that way.
She was a horrible parent and knew it...Tri came to her life because it was either her or some research orginization and it helped that he was not clingy....he was eventually even now but not it was more of a confirmation she cared then wanting attention all the time. Leukos struck her that way too... Not as bad as Tri mbut possible someone she could get to trust too...or mold maybe.
Closing her eyes she listened to him talk, opening them to stare and let out a small huff of air. "Really.... Spectrum you love you right now. I mean just love you. So..you can call spirits to possess you then force them out?" She looked over at him curiously. "And you can control them...how happy are they being controlled? Just a question " she smirked faintly but there was a deep sadness about it as she reached out to pat him.
"I'll have you no matter how you answered. It was only your mother that stopped me from brining you in but now... We have a need and ...well you really need to get away from your stalker "
