Aodh was, for once, a man on a mission. Inspiration had struck, the urge to create something finally turning to an actual desire to see it done. Except that he had nothing to work with and, were he honest, he wanted it to be the real deal because of who he was going to give the finished piece too. Which had lead to looking for the right kind of shop and that, of course, lead to the creatively named Mount Me. It was a taxidermist, so he assumed that they would be able to help him out. If not? Well, Aodh would probably have to look online and that would mean a package delivery and- No surprise. That just wouldn’t work. The young man tugged open the door to the shop, after making sure he hadn’t misread the business hours, and went inside. Hetzerei terrible start go q __ q (yeah, he's totes just looking for claws and teeth of the animal variety tho)

“You sonofabitch,“ the taxidermist cursed to himself. Before him lay a nigh perfectly molded strip of fake fish, rendered entirely out of a silicone as per his customer’s order, and yet it sported a long seam across the top. „I guess that means I’ll have to wear it down. I really need to stop taking fish commissions, Schatzie.“
The dog grunted from his place on the floor.
„Exactly. Too much work, especially when they order a ******** marlin. Who even wants a giant rubber marlin? They can just go to the ******** store and buy one of those cheap plastic ones for thirty bucks. With my luck they’re probably planning some kind of… What would it be, icthyphilia or something? Ugh…“
Sighing, Alois braced the palms of his hands against the table. The joints in his wrists and elbows popped, and he leaned into a long stretch shortly before the door’s mounted bell rang. After a moment, he looked up toward the young man who recently walked in. He looked lost, as most did when wandering into a taxidermy and curiosity shop. He supposed that was preferable to the creepy type that occasionally strolled past those doors.
„If you’re having a fish mounted, I’m full to the brim on those orders. Otherwise, how can I help you?“

Aodh was taking it all in, looking from piece to piece, and his eyes settling on something with teeth and claws - forever locked in just about to attack; it was impressive. "No, no I don't need anything mounted." Which lead to the name of the shop and hadn't that been interesting. If Jaro had seen that on his note he probably would have made the worst (best) jokes. "I was actually wanting to see if you could possibly help with something." Aodh paused, a small half-smile there. "Again, nothing mounted but I think you may have what I am looking for."

Alois was not a man of patience when it came to interpersonal exchanges. Ever in a hurry to terminate the visit, he strove (perhaps by german heritage alone) to reach the meat of the issue, address it, and send his customers on their (optionally) merry way. To have someone standing within his shop browsing around, making conversation and dodging the core of their visit was, to him, a uniquely American affair. Browsing was restricted to window-shopping in other countries. Why, then, did Americans insist on barging into a place with nary a reason in mind and then expect engagement the entire time?
Alois pressed a pair of fingers to his temple and leaned into his hand. „… So what is it you’re looking for? Rugs, jewelry, hides?“ Mind-reading isn’t in my repertoire of skills, a*****e.

Aodh straightened up when Alois seemed to get straight to the point. That was fine. It was something he preferred but it always seemed as if people wanted to chatter before handling business. "Fangs," he replied, "and claws. Preferably something that could be worked with to make jewelry." Aodh held up his hand, pinky extended given as an example. "Nothing bigger than my pinky but I don't want really small pieces either." Making this trip quick and painless would be a blessing.

“Fangs and claws,“ he repeated. „I haf’ a few of zose.“
Hands slipped from the table automatically and Alois leaned out of sight. In a minute, he returned with a small stack of cases, each clear and sectioned and meticulously labeled, which he laid out for his customer to peruse. „Fangs zemselfs are a little rare to find intact. Incisors usually work fine as a stand-in if you’re just looking for ze flesh-cutting variety of tees’. Everysing is labeled by ze creature it comes from, scientific name first and common name below. Bears, cougars, lynxes, deer, several types of rodents, wolves, and foxes to name a few. Most of zese are endemic to ze Massachusetts area, except for ze shark tees’ of course.
„For claws, it’s much of ze same. Bear claws are usually ze most sought after because of zeir size and sturdiness. Zey also carry a significant history, given zeir use as gogok by ze Koreans and magatama by ze Japanese.
„You know what you’re looking for, yes?“ He glanced to his potential patron, both arms folded and hands laced together.
