It wasn't every day that Chozi was feeling as great as he was. He had wandered quite far out of his comfort zone, and he was barely tired at all! It had been so long since he could wander so far. He knew that one of his chidlren had probably followed him this far out, though, since they couldn't seem to leave him to his own devices at all anymore. Not since he'd gotten sick.

Still, he felt good, and he was going to ride that feeling for as long as he could. A bad day could be just around the corner... Then again, he could be getting better. He hoped that the illness would soon pass. The thin Cheeton rolled his shoulders a a bitpushing away the tightness his muscles had gained as he walked.

He would turn back, soon, but for now he'd enjoy today.

Painted Moose:
The young lioness was decked out in shells, bangles, and scarfs from the tip of her mane to the edges of her little toes. In that aspect Maritza was every bit her mother's daughter, although she didn't like to admit it. Her mother was a vain piece of work, and Martiza liked to pretend she was a little sweeter. Just as stubborn, but sweet, and she loved getting out.

It was a delightful change in pace not to be so close to her siblings. One had already left for the Firekin, the other for the Bahari, so her mother's paranoia about having her babies 'all together' was beginning to chafe. Martiza tossed her mane into the air, enjoying the cool breeze that swept across her face. For once it was a beautiful day, with beautifully cool breezes, and she wasn't going to let her mother drag her down!

And besides, if she had stayed home, then she wouldn't have found that little cheeton, now would she? "Hello there!"

Seaki:
Chozi was startled out of his musing by a new voice. A thought breifly flickered across his mind that one of his children had come to drag him back home already, but he quickly realized that it hadn't been the case at all!

"Hello!" He greeted in turn upon seeing a lioness. He was surpised by the glitter of her fur, almost like the night sky. He was glad that he didnt cough after speaking, though his voice did sound a bit rough.

Painted Moose:
Maritza flashed him a winning smile, her fangs glistening as brightly as any star. "Are you on the run too? It's not every day loners roam about the rogue lands, after all." The way she spoke was far too amused and airy to be worried, though his tone of voice did concern her. Had he been injured? "But - manners - how silly of me. My name is Starshine; I would tell you my real name, but, well, I can't. It's a pridal thing" Shrugging her shoulders, the lioness stepped closer. "And you? Little wanderer?" Wasn't he just the cutest? She imagined he would look a little better with some meat on his bones, but Martiza couldn't help thinking on how precious this little cheeton was.

Seaki:
Starshine huh? His mind briefly flashed to the image of another lioness - one called Viper, and he figured he knew what pride she belonged to. He gave her a smile "Sharshine then, I'm Chozi," Tho his voice was still a little crackly, it started to clear up the more he spoke. "I'm just out for a stroll, but I've wandered a bit further than I'm used to..." He admitted. He'd been out this way before, however, and its not the furthest he'd wandered.

It was just the furtherest he had wandered since the illness struck him near immobile for some months.

He tilted his head a bit curiously. "The pride you live in? What's it called? I think I know someone from there..." He wondered aloud.

Me tooo! Isn't it just exciting? I've never been this far away from home before, and I have to say, I'm loving it." She did miss the interactions and all the talking, but at least her mother wasn't out here. Controlling b***h that she was. Maybe she could make a living out here, just selling her crafts to passing rogues? Ha! What laughable nonsense; what rogue would be able to afford her wares?

"My pride? It's the Kizingo'zaa. We live near the ocean, close to the Bahari'mtoto." It was doubtful he had met he lioness while inside the pride, what with their stance on hybrids. They weren't locked out entirely, but they were frowned upon. Maybe they had met in the roguelands? "Are you looking for her? This lioness? Is she your mate? Or your daughter?"

Seaki:
"Oh no," Chozi shook his head. "I was just wondering. I'd met her while I was out on a walk as well, and I wondered if it was the same pride," He told her. "She was nice - her name was Viper," He told her. That was why he thought of the pride. He couldn't remember if she had told him what pride she belonged to though, but the name did sound quite familiar.

"Perhaps I'm thinking of a different pride," he hummed thoughtfully.

Painted Moose:
"Viper, huh? Viper, Viper....No no, seems like the right pride, but I just don't know her. Sorry." Martiza shrugged her shoulders. It wasn't that uncommon not to know everyone in a pride as big as theirs, but she had hoped. After all, her mother was well connected-

Stop coming back to her!

"I could take you back with me if you wanted, to see if we can't find her. Or I could show you my wares. I'm a merchant, you know; I make and sell jewelry. I'm sure I have plenty of pieces that would look glorious on you."

Seaki:
Chozi smiled - at least he knew the name of the pride Viper had belonged to, now, though he wasn't sure what he would do with the information. He was starting to feel quite exhausted as well, even though all he had been doing is standing and speaking.

"I don't know, I should probably get back to my children soon?" They were probably looking for him, after all, and he did just have a small litter of lion cubs. He shifted on his feet, unsure if he should just go back him in his weariness, or go with the lioness to see her collection. He could always use more trinkets after all...

Painted Moose:
"Come on now, we're not that far away. You can come with me, rest a while, and then be on your way." After all, once she got him good and chilled out then why WOULDN'T he feel obligated to buy everyone of her pieces? She could sell them at a discounted price for a bigger load as well and in the end she could restock on new ideas...Yes yes yes!

"You have cubs, right? Wouldn't they be so happy to have a gift from their father? I can even make specialty items that would be just perfect for them." Martiza vaguely thought that hybrids couldn't have kids, but what the hell, even if he was lying she could still make a sale.

Seaki:
Chozi frowned, deliberating for a bit. Suddenly, he nodded a bit. "Alright, I'll go wtih you," he agreed easily. It'd be nice to rest up a bit before he made the long walk back to his home. And he was sure the cubs and his younger children would enjoy some new trinkets from his journey.

At least his journey wasn't a waste of energy this way, he decided with finality.
