The subject was the summer games. Something Chel cared aggressively about. Something that had days of preparation and although she still went at it with a chill attitude, it was Serious Business.
Except Chris was at work today, which made it a little boring.
And the cabel kept shitting out.
Which lead her to Shun's door. She had no other choice, really. "You better be home," she muttered as she knocked on the door.

Incidentally, Shun had just turned the TV on to see what was currently airing as far as the summer games went, when he heard the knocking at his door. Furrowing his brow, he rose up and made his way over. He had a feeling as to who it was... and sure enough. It was Chel.
No one else ever stopped by his place.
"What do you want?" he asked.

Shun eyed her for a moment, feeling suspicion arising within him.
"Why do you ask?"

The detective glanced back at the tv for a moment, then looked back to Chel.
"What sort of snacks?"

"Homemade pretzals an' dip, some beer ... y'know. Hype snacks." Becuase hype snacks was apparently a category of food.

"Hype snacks...?" he repeated with a tilt of his head, "You can keep the booze to yourself."

"You never been to a tailgate party or any s**t like that?" she asked. Well no, Shun wasn't really that type.
"I promise s'good s**t an' I'll throw in whatever after." She looked over his shoulder towards the TV. She was missing stuff.

Shun folded his arms over his chest and shook his head at the question. Flatly, he asked "Do I seem like the party type? I do not even drink in the first place."

Shun grunted and stepped aside, "Fine. Fine. Just do not make a mess."
He wondered if he was about to regret this decision.

"Yessss." She would have leaned in to hug him or some other sign of affection but considering Shun would probably punch her off the balcony, she opted not to do that.
She ran back to Chris' place and grabbed her few bowls of food and two of the beers from the six pack she'd gotten for her and Chris. Sadly it was going to have to go unused for now.
She laid herself out in the living room area, putting her food on the coffee table (careful to avoid smothering Shun's tiny little tree) and heading straight for the couch. "You watch the olympics or nah?"
