General Leucite had taken great pains to ensure that the first class he offered at the Training Corps barracks was one that would be useful to anyone who signed up and set foot through the door of the classroom. He had informed each member of the training corps of the upcoming class personally via their communication crystal, stressing the importance of punctuality and the fact that the class started at 9 p.m. that Saturday. He gave them the room number for the classroom in the Training Corps barracks and informed them to bring proper writing material so they could take notes as needed. Now, as the clock marched ever onward toward nine, Leucite was making his last minute preparations. He straightened up the table, the first thing anyone would see as they came walking in through the door. The table was covered with various crystals from the Rift, a brightly glowing first sized orb, and a black box draped with a thin, black cloth. The closer and closer it grew to nine, the more and more Leucite moved to ensure things were properly in place. He had ensured there would be more than enough desks for people to sit at. Finally, as it reached about five till nine, Leucite moved to the whiteboard, and picking up one of the many markers he wrote. Tonight’s Course: Officer Fundamentals Instructor - General Leucite Assistant Instructor - Lt. Stibnite Placing the marker back down, he turned and faced the room. His eye on the door for any stragglers that might come in late. Quote: Class is about to start! If you are unable to post, you can hand-wave your presence or you can have your character have reported to Leucite their inability to attend at that time. You may, if you like, PM Torvil to establish a one-on-one tutoring session with General Leucite, and he will cover the same material covered in the course. There will be a quiz at the end of the night, so feel free to use that as a solo opportunity! As stated earlier, the Training Corps is an entirely optional program, but your character is encouraged to attend as many classes as possible in order to receive the maximum benefit of the program. (( Next post will be in 24 hours. ))

The level glare Stibnite gave the back of her General's head said just how much she was not amused by him putting her name on the board. Oh she was there to help in any and all ways he needed her to do so. This was his brain child and, outside of several disagreements over how late he was making the first class...on a Saturday...and beating him over the head when he wouldn't sleep as the day grew closer, she had left this up to him. Now, she moved out of his way, slipping to the back to avoid too much attention. If he needed her, he would call on her. Otherwise, she was VERY curious about his collection of items. Those appearing had surprised her to say the least. "Tonight will be interesting." She smiled.

Arseno was a bit early for the class. Though he tended to be early to things rather than late, he didn’t like the awkwardness that followed being late. But as he looked into the classroom and only saw the general and what seemed to be a lieutenant, he decided that being too early could be just as awkward.
Luckily he had already eaten considering that this class was so late. And he was glad it was on a Saturday too. At least he could sleep in tomorrow. Sighing a bit he headed in. He waited a bit and checked out the table with the crystals in it before heading to one of the desks in the back rows.

Reinerite had seen the posters around Negaspace when she had come in to hand over her quota.
The first time she had seen it, it had actually given her pause, grey eyes looking over the poster curiously.
Well more make that the figure depicted on the poster...
It had made her think of the old "I want you" Uncle Sam posters that she had seen in her text books when studying the Second World War for her GCSEs.
It had certainly made her curious to check out more - enough so for her to find her way to the mentioned Barracks and sign her name down on the sign in roster - particularly since the Negaverse tournament that she had participated in back in May had shown her that she was sorely in need of training given that she had ended up crashing out in the first round.
Which brought her to today.
Well aware of her inability to teleport, Reinerite had managed to find a Captain to teleport her to Negaspace and had used the opportunity to hand in the small bit of energy that she had managed to drain earlier in the day before making her way over to the Training Corps barracks.
She had timed it to be slightly early, because she hated being late to things, however even so she was not the first to arrive slipping in just behind another Lieutenant.
Her grey eyes were cool as she looked towards the General at the front but the nod that she gave him and her voice were both respectful as she said quietly "Lieutenant Reinerite reporting for training Sir."

Lopezite was still incredibly new to the Negaverse; freshly awakened, he barely knew where he was supposed to fit into the grand scheme of things. Going to a class specifically designed by someone who had already proven that they knew what they were doing just seemed the smart thing to do.
He did not yet have friends in the Negaverse; he'd gotten his basic introduction and knew just enough about things to know who to hitch a ride down here with.
…But that was it.
He was not shy about his newness and took a seat near the front; though he was not particularly vocal, he nodded both to Leucite and Stibnite and to whomever was next to him. He was very alert, glancing around the room and taking in everything he could, excited to learn both about this place—and the organization he'd found himself aligned with.

Raspite was almost always on time, but as he filed into the room he noted that there were others there before him. So, he was not the most diligent in this, but all the same, it could be argued that he was the most loyal to their teacher. He grinned as he noted the General at the front, as well as Stibnite standing near the back of the class. This was going to be interesting to say the very least. Seeing as he already knew a lot of Leucite's dogma, he wondered how a lot of his peers would take it. He was not one to look down on the man for his beliefs, and there we some that Raspite was taking as his own. It was simply this, he was his own man, and to see the Negaverse and their goal in his own way was something he would always do. He looked about to the items on the table. Most of them he knew, but some of them he was curious about. Mainly the box that was covered and out of view. His life before joining the Negaverse has dealt with stealing things that seemed rare and unusual. He could turn a profit with that. So the idea that that item was out of sight was certainly bait for him.

Chrysocolla was there, because of course she was, she wanted to be and she'd signed up for it after all -- but she felt so terribly awkward with her curtains of hair and her wings (undetachable by tugging; she'd tried, in fits and spurts, in times before) and the major giveaway: her aura. Very technically, she was on par with the General running this event.
By technicality, of course, because even with her magically boosted strength and the training she'd gotten from Cinnabar she was still a teenage girl with a penchant for nervousness and naps. (She probably didn't need to be at this lesson in particular, but. But. It'd be rude not to!!)
Chrysocolla slunk into a corner and tried to appear as small as possible.

Calomel honestly had no idea in hell what she was doing here. The Negaverse and it's ideals.. All of that Jazz really didn't mean much to her. She knew they were in charge, and she knew the man who hired her for Romano's was super charismatic.. And hell, the pay they offered her was nothing to sneeze at, especially for being a teacher! She just wanted to pay her bills and the offer to get that much money just for joining some Organization.. Well, how could she say no? ... And now here she was, Unfortunately stuck in some weird class that was 'suggested' to her by her superiors. Apparently it was normal for each Lieutenant to choose what part of the Negaverse's Operations they wanted to join. Which made sense! It wasn't' her first rodeo when it came to military situations so.. It was best to do as ordered. And boy, could she follow orders. As soon as she arrived, she took a seat near the front of the classroom, notebook and pen ready. Well, maybe she could finally learn more about exactly what she had joined.

Leucite eyed the assembled trainees. Some faces were very familiar, some he had met once or twice before. Some were brand new to him, but he hoped he would get to know them. He noticed a few faces were absent, and he did a quick head count. It was nine now, so those who were running late were late. He already knew what his plan was for the late comers, if there were any. Clearing his throat, he looked around the room once more, making a mental note of everyone who was here. "For some of you, this course will be more of a refresher than any new information." He said, his eyes darting upon Raspite and Chrysocolla each in turn. "And that is perfectly fine. I will be relying on those who are more familiar with this information to help those around you who are not. Remember, we are all a team here. If one of us fails..." "... We ALL fail." His fist found his open palm to punctuate the point. "To that end, the first thing I want us to do tonight, is to stand up and introduce ourselves. Like I said, we're a team, and it's important that we know who it is that is watching our backs." Leucite continued. "I want each of you to give your name, your rank, and what you'd most like to get out of this course." He said, before moving to stand in front of the table. "I'll go first... Hello, I'm General Leucite, and my hope is that all of you come away from this class knowing more about the Negaverse and what being an Officer is all about." Lecuite said before nodding his head, and waiting for the next person to speak. Quote: Class has started! You can still post your character coming in late! Feel free to have your character find a seat and join in on the introductions! (( Next post will be in 24 hours.))

Leifite was not particularly late, by her standards. More so, Negaspace was not particularly easy to navigate, especially for one who'd never been to Negaspace before, much less the Training Barracks within them. They could do with a set of maps or fliers to point new recruits in the right direction. Perhaps a nice sign that said "TRAINING CAMP THIS WAY" instead of blank spires of stone and a path that lead into the hordes of youma below the castle.
Needless to say, Leifite found herself at the room a good five minutes late, looking haggard and only a little concerned for her well being and decision to join the Negaverse. The small teen slipped in behind the group and took a chair as Leucite finished speaking. She gave an apologetic smile and saluted. Was she supposed to salute? Well she did anyway.
"Lt. Leifite present and accounted for. I want to figure out what being an officer is all about so... here I am," said Leifite, plopping into a chair without another word.

Whilst not directly at the front, Reinerite had opted for a seat that wasn't too far from it, gloved hands fishing out the notepad and pen that she had brought along with her as she alternated between studying the items that had been set out on the table at the front and watching those who were still arriving.
Most of the faces were unfamiliar to her - in face pretty much all of the faces were unfamiliar, however one stuck out - a green-haired corrupted senshi (Chrysocolla) - who she remembered from the Negaverse tournament.
The senshi in question had been matched against Reinerite's General - Aurostibite - and that fight had been on a whole different level to the other fights that she had managed to watch.
Another Lieutenant (Calomel) had taken a seat nearby and Reinerite had given her a polite nod before turning her attention back to the front.
As she listened to Leucite speak, she noted that that his style was pretty different to that of Aurostibite.
A voice spoke up from the back after Leucite had finished speaking and Reinerite waited until she was finished speaking before standing.
"I'm Lieutenant Reinerite" she said calmly. "And I want to use what I learn in these classes to become the best officer I can be."
She nodded politely to Leucite before sitting back down.

Man, could this guy talk... Not that it was a bad thing at all. But for something that had initially seemed a vicious place (seriously, with all those youma and their teeth!) it was actually a fairly chill environment so far. Nothing that she couldn't handle. And there were others here who seemed to be just as confused as she was, others not so much. She did receive a nod from another Lieutenant nearby, one with vividly blue curls(Reinerite) that she couldn't help but smile back at. She made a mental note to try to speak with her after the program. She did watch those who came in late, frowning at them and just getting that feeling that there will be some sort of punishment for disrupting the class as such. After all, this was some sort of military operation, was it not? Those who are undisciplined could easily cause an organization to fall into disarray. That could not be tolerated. Not one bit. But for now, there wasn't much she could do about it. After the most recent Lieutenant spoke, she stood up as well, in parade rest as she acknowledged her commander and the rest of the members in the room. "Lieutenant Calomel, Teacher of Military History and ROTC Instructor for Romano's. The knowledge gathered here will be used to make an informed decision on which branch of service I wish to join. That being said, I will go where I'm needed. Thank you." With a quick salute to Leucite, and a nod to the rest of the class, she sat back down. That's how it was done. what did these undisciplined young people even know about how a military was to work?

Watching Leucite take to the front of the room, Stibnite couldn't help but shake her head when he punched his fist into his hand. She was smiling, a normally dangerous sign when she did so in this form but right now, she was more...amused.
Waiting for others to settle, she took a place in the back against the wall. Remaining standing, she was ready to move as needed.
"Good Evening Everyone. I am Lt. Stibnite. I am here to be assistance to every one of you as well. From questions you may not wish to ask a General..." Her eyes flashed to Leucite and then scanned the room. "To just wanting some one on one lessons in fighting. Anyway, thank you all for coming. Next time, we are going to figure out how to get pizza delivered down here."

While Lopezite was immensely interested in the lesson, he couldn't help but get stuck on the idea that if one fail, all failed. He didn't mind trying his hardest in a group setting, but he'd never liked the idea that his success might be based on someone else's. You couldn't trust everyone else to put in the same effort as you did.
But, he'd give this a chance. Right now, he was fairly confident he should be considered among the weakest links, anyway—he was new, days old, only.
He listened to introductions but didn't wait too long to give his own; he stood and offered both Leucite and Stibnite—the designated leaders of this meeting—a slight bow of the head in proper greeting.
"Lieutenant Lopezite. I am hear to learn. Whatever you can teach me is what I want out of this course."
There wasn't much more for him to say; he couldn’t give the lengthy answer of what he wanted to know because he wanted to know everything. He hadn't known where to begin—so this seemed like the best place for him to start.

She hadn't meant to be late, honestly, but she had gotten rather lost and then chased by a rather...unpleasant youma who didn't seem to like her one bit. The Captain who had brought her down here had rudely left her on her own in order to do something, she hadn't asked. They had agreed to take her down when she had mentioned why she wanted to get down here. Other than that they'd been...cold and short with her as far as words went.
So after running, getting lost, and someone saving her from the youma the corrupted senshi of brains was finally able to slip into the room just in time to hear the floor open up to introductions. Listening to everyone else she finally found her voice and spoke up, while also finding a way to hide herself into a corner of the room.
"Corrupted Valeria of Brains. I'm sorry I'm late...the Captain who brought me here left me...and a youma tried to attack me." It hadn't liked her and she could remember hearing once that the youma didn't like corrupted senshi, even though they served the Negaverse. Bowing her head in apology, she really hadn't meant to be late. She had cleared her schedule, which had been a bit packed, in order to have the time free to get here on time and spend down here for this class. She had done her best...and still had fallen short. She was just lucky she hadn't tripped, fallen, and gotten hurt due to all her hair. Her hair tended to make it a bit difficult for her to walk, never mind run, as it got in the way more often than not.
