The evening was fairly muggy, more so than Leucite would have liked, but all the same, he made sure not to show it. He was trying new hunting grounds tonight, trying to sort out where the next new hive of scum would pop up. They tended to move. As he cleared out one area they migrated to the next... and so on and so forth. It was such a pain to deal with the nomads, but it kept the streets safer, in his mind... Less drugs, less guns... And if he pocketed the money well... Might as well use it for a good cause somewhere down the line. But tonight had been poor hunting. The dealers had not moved into this part of the city. He would have to keep searching. But for now, he relaxed. Taking in the night air and just giving himself a moment of quiet contemplation. Hopefully someone would come and bother him tonight... he could use a distraction.

Humidity was hard on Nambulite's hair. It just wouldn't lay right on humid days, and all these horrible flyaways would pop up, and generally it was awful. The Lieutenant had a bit more to worry about than the state of his hair, however. He had a quota to make, and while he had already nabbed some energy tonight, he was a little concerned with the rate at which it was coming in. He did not want to know what happened when people couldn't meet their quotas. Something big and dark loomed on the horizon according to Nambulite's senses, but it didn't feel menacing. Something about it was almost comforting, like the kind of darkness one could go to sleep in. He took that to mean that one of his own was around, and a powerful one of his own at that. Wanting to sate his curiosity, he headed towards the darkness, letting it pull him along. Sure enough, there was a General at the source of it. "Evening, General!" he called out, waving casually. "Find anything interesting today? Senshi, Knight, anyone?"

The aura that approached was one of theirs... A Lieutenant by the feel of it, still small and nascent in its chaos. Had his own aura felt that way once? Surely it must have, but his time as a Lieutenant felt so long ago. His time as a captain was much more fresh on his mind, though even that was starting to drift away into the depths of his memory. He had worked hard to gain this power, without a mentor for the majority of it. His success was his own. But he did not intend to let the rest of the Negaverse suffer that fate. So when the Lieutenant approached, quite chipper for the evening really, Leucite turned a smooth about face, and then allowed himself to shift into an easy parade rest stance. "It's been rather dead tonight, Lieutenant," Leucite said, bowing his head to the other man. "General Leucite," He added with a small smile. "And who might you be, Lieutenant?"

Nambulite couldn't tell if he was being too relaxed or if this General was being rather formal. Maybe it was a trait acquired from all the time spent in the Negaverse. Also, the General was polite. He kind of expected to be put in his place, or something, but this was fine too. "Lieutenant Nambulite. Good to meet you, General." He let his disappointment at the lack of activity show, a frown etching into his features. "Really? No one's been through here? What a drag. I mean, sure, it makes gathering energy easier, but there's something satisfying about the idea of draining a senshi out of commission." Not that he had ever gotten the opportunity to do such a thing. He hadn't gotten a good enough of a handle on fighting to successfully corral anyone to go for the drain.

Lecuite listened for a moment and then raised a hand and motioned out to the city in front of them, turning his body sideways to the lieutenant "Sadly, tonight is a sore night for hunting, but that is good in its own ways as you say." Leucite said, turning fully back to face the Lieutenant with a small grin. "Your eagerness to fight speaks well of you Nambulite, it is good to see such zeal. Though, personally, I'd prefer to capture the senshi or knight before killing them, and bring them into the fold proper." With that, he crossed his arms across his chest and let out a small sigh. "But sadly, this is not always the case... Sometimes death is truly the only choice they give us."

Nambulite couldn't help a twitchy little smirk when he was praised for his zeal. He had just started out, and he was already getting little kernels of praise from his superiors. That had to be a good sign. The mentions of capture and death wiped the smirk clean off though. "Death, huh... I feel like I should have something to say about that, but I don't." He wasn't exactly worried about the lack of sentiment; the Negaverse was supposed to fight senshi. There would undoubtedly be some casualties along the way. Instead, he drew his attention to the capture issue. "Capturing sounds like a better deal. They get to stay alive, we get a new ally. I bet it's pretty hard to get them to agree to it, right? Sometimes, self-preservation can be a real pain in the a**." Honestly, Nambulite wasn't entirely sure where that last part came from, but it sounded about right. If he was going to make himself useful at his new "thing to do," he had get over not wanting any bruises on his pretty face. Maybe he'd been given those ridiculous heeled boots for a reason- the better to dominatingly stomp on people with.

"We're in a war, death is natural. On both sides of this conflict," Leucite said, his voice taking on somewhat of a more solemn and sterner tone. "You should be prepared to face death everytime you face the enemy. Because they will not grant you mercy if they can help it." There were plenty out there who would see the Negaverse fall, and Leucite would not allow that while he still breathed. "But yes, most of the misguided do not come willingly to the fold. But this does not prevent us from conscripting them to the proper cause."
