 Yuki, a Husky furry, was in her dog form, finishing up 'helping' with the horses. Well more like she was watching her 'master' finish up. She nudged his hand as she went over to him and let out a tiny whimper, trying to tell him she felt scared. She could hear rumbles of thunder in the distance. Yuki wasn't too keen on storms, since she was left alone on a stormy day as a puppy, only to be hit by a truck when she turned almost a year old. The truck was owned by her master's son, who happened to be the one driving. She wasn't hit hard thankfully, but she did get a broken leg out of it. When she recovered, she was adopted by the son, who treated her like his own from that day. She was absolutely in love with him. She trusted him and wanted to show him her human form, but was scared he'd think she was a freak since there weren't very many of her kind around these days. Most were slaves or something, but many stayed in their animal forms for protection. Yuki whimpered a bit burying her face in her master's leg.

 Hawken Jones smiles as he tended to the horses.Once he was done he strokes Yuki ears"Its okay yuki, Lets go in side"He was native american so he had an open mind to most things.He loved having her near him.He heads to the house so that way he could make food

Yuki followed him into the small ranch house before she laid down beside the table where her food bowl was. She'd pretended to be a dog all this time for her own protection until she was sure he wouldn't try to hurt her in any way. From what she'd seen so far, he wouldn't hurt her in any way no matter what. She still had a slight limp from time to time where her broken leg was, and a little pain here and there, but nothing too major. Yuki's tail curled around her as she laid down in the cool of the A/C unit that was causing cool air to come into the house. Yuki loved the cold because of her double coat, and because her breed was bred for cold weather.

Hawken washes his hands then starts to make dinner. He always gave her the best food and not dog food.He hated the smell of it.He was making steaks tonight"My little yuki, tonight we have steaks and potatoes "

Yuki's ears perked as she heard her name before she heard the word steak. She wagged her tail happily as she really loved that Hawken made her food as she hated the taste and smell of the factory made dog food. She tried it once but it didn't really appeal to her. Yuki had this way about her, that made anyone around her really happy. She always seemed to be smiling, as only she can. No one was sure, but she looked like she had some wolf in her, which she did, but it wasn't more than 45 percent. She knew that Hawken loved her and she loved him more than he knew. Yuki was very protective of Hawken. Even when he first adopted her, despite the fact she was hit by his truck almost a year ago, she loved him and never bore a grudge against him or anyone in his family. She especially had a soft spot for the kids in his family. She wanted some of her own, but wasn't sure if Hawken would want her if he found out what she really was.

Hawken finished cooking.He cut up her food and let it cool before she put it in her bowl. He took his plate and sat at the table.He looks out the window"This storm looks bad"He sighs as he cuts his food up.He starts to eat.He was thinking about the powwow that was coming up in a few days.They wanted him to do the wolf dance

Yuki ate her food happily. As she ate, she could hear the thunder getting closer. Poor thing was absolutely terrified of thunderstorms. Mainly because the sound hurt her ears and because she was trapped outside in one as a pup, having to seek shelter under someone's house before moving on to being hit by Hawken's truck. Her leg still hurt her from time to time, but she never once hated him for it. She knew she came out of nowhere, and was happy that he helped her. She felt so loved around him. Once she finished, and she was let outside, before the storm hit, she hid in the barn as the storm started. She whimpered as she hid in her usual hiding spot. Only this time, she was so scared, she had turned into Furry form, huddled in an empty horse stall with her arms over her head..

Hawken washes the dishes when the storm hit. He blinks he knew she hated the storm. He moves and gets his coat on.He had to find her before it got bad"

As a loud crash of thunder sounded, Yuki jumped and started crying covering her head with her arms while her tail was wrapped around her. She had closed the stall window so the rain wouldn't come in and get her wall wet after she realized she'd transformed. She had tears in her eyes as her entire body was frozen with fear and shaking so badly that one could see it from a distance. Yuki had her ears flat against her head wishing Hawken would help her.

Yuki heard Hawken and was about to answer when another booming thunder sound came. She yelped a bit and recovered her head before she continued to cry. Poor thing was trying to turn back but was too scared to do so. You could see how scared she was because you could see her shaking from far away. It wasn't exactly something she was proud of.

Hawken heard the yelp. He walks towards it. He saw her. He was in shock but it was quickly pushed aside.He picks her up and carries her back to the house

Once they were inside, Yuki was gripping Hawken's jacket, not wanting him to let her go. She was so scared of the thunderous boom noises of the storm, that the poor thing wasn't willing to let go. She was shaking so bad it was visible just how tense she was. Plus she was crying and had tears in her fur from how scared she was.

Once the storm passed, Yuki calmed down and fell asleep in his arms. She loved Hawken and would do anything to make him happy. She wasn't a goddess or anything he might think she was. Furries were really rare these days, ever since they all went into Hiding. Only those who looked human were spared from being turned into slaves or those who were in hiding in their animal forms. It was sad, but Yuki had to hide her true self from everyone, even Hawken because she didn't want to be a slave to anyone.
