Car Restoration - Working at a Junkyard means Samir gets the top pick of all the pieces he wants; he loves restoring cars and rebuilding what he can with working pieces. He has completed his auto mechanic program through one of Destiny City's vocational schools and enjoys working on automotives.
Dogs: Samir owns three dogs of his own and fosters those in need of a temporary home; he lives just off of the Junkyard owned by his family and has a large backyard open to them. In his free time, he volunteers at the shelter and tries to rope in others to do the same.
Blacksmithing: Samir has a decently sized forge set up on his property near the Junkyard. He has the opportunity to forage some scrap metals to feed this hobby and while he is capable of utilizing his skills to create a wide variety of items, he has a soft spot for armor and weaponry (both decorative and functional).
Virtues:
Protective -- Samir is protective of all animals, people, and things he holds dear to his heart. He takes good care of all of his belongings and can be trusted to take care of others'. Samir does not want to see those close to him hurt and will put himself in harm's way to prevent injury or harm to them. He cares both for their emotions and physical well being, especially for those he feels cannot properly take care of themselves.
Fearless -- Samir is brave and doesn’t let fear control or limit him; he will put himself in positions of danger to ensure others aren't in the position. Samir is incredibly confident in his skills and faces all problems with a bold demeanor. He has yet to find something frightening enough to incapacitate him and rarely worries about about anything.
Attentive -- He is extremely meticulous when it comes to small details in his life and the lives of others. Samir is very observant of his surroundings and those around him, and is capable of paying close attention to many things at once. Flaws:
Private -- Samir tends to bottle his emotions and refrains from letting people too close to his heart or his problems. This sometimes leads to him being secretive and hiding his problems in order to keep those around him oblivious to them. His need for privacy means he keeps most people at a distance. While he values relationships, his secrecy often comes across as distrusting others and it appears that he doesn't consider how such actions impact the feelings of others.
Defensive -- He is quick to defend himself or others and will often jump to conclusions if he feels like someone is being attacked. He goes out of his way to avoid criticism and often gets aggressive or confrontational when it is offered. While he has a (convincing) false bravado about himself, he does not always take jokes well and often becomes prickly when he or his choices are examined.
Competitive -- Samir does not like to be second best and will push himself in competitions. He wears himself thin and feels an intense need to prove himself, often resulting in aggressive competition. He never backs down from a competition and is an incredibly sore loser.
Reckless -- Rarely, Samir considers his own well being and he is known for doing otherwise stupid things because his overconfidence and lack of fear. He is impulsive and a bit of a thrill seeker who doesn't always take the time he should to consider if what he is doing is a good idea. While he is more careful not to do things that might harm those around him, he is far less concerned with considering consequences or potential outcomes than he should be.
