Amala was aware there were two newcomers in the pride, twins too. The male was a story teller and she was curious to know a little more about him. She just really wanted to get to know everyone. It was something she liked to do anyway. She figured it would be a peace of cake, but tracking down the male was proving to be a little more difficult than she initially thought. Finally after looking half the day she found him relaxing near the water. Of course he'd be here, last place one always looks right? Approaching she cleared her throat. "Hello there."

He had been enjoying himself and the decent weather and had decided to just relax by the water. He wasn't sure where his sister was but he was sure she'd make herself known eventually. His thoughts were torn away by a voice and he turned his gaze to look upon the pale female that stood behind her. She was build rather nice and he figured she was one of the warriors that had been in the pride for a while. "Hello." He said softly in return as he stayed where he was. He figured she'd join him if she wanted to stay long. "I'm Eublpharis, what is your name?" He asked her.

She moved closer to him and found a spot not to far away. "I'm Amala. It's nice to meet you Eublepharis." She said in return as she made herself comfortable. "How are you enjoying the pride?" She was curious to know how he felt about it so far. She knew not all males liked being lower on the totem pole.

He hadn't really thought much about it. he was quite content with him and his sister being in the pride. Plus he liked cubs so it was an honor to be a story teller for the pride in his opinion. Plus he was able to hang out with cubs all day, when there were some anyway. All the cubs had grown to adults before he got here so ther ewasn't much for him to do currently which was alright. He oculd still do other things around the pride to help out so he wasn't a total waste of space. "I'm liking it a great deal Amala." He said saying her name just to hear it against his tongue. "What about you? Do you enjoy it here?" He figured he'd ask her in return, he liked to know how some of the veteran members felt.

She honestly hadn't been asked that before so she had to think on it for a moment. "I'm glad you like it here." She said to take up some time while she thought of what to say. She liked it here, she hadn't really known anything else so she didn't have much to compare it to? "It's quiet, which is good. Though sometimes I wish we'd have a little more excitement you know?" She said looking towards him with a flick of her tail against the ground. She wasn't really sure what kind of excitement but she had been itching for a decent fight lately. She wasn't about to go looking for one though.

Ah yes, the idle warrior can be a deadly thing. He knew what she meant though. It was likely she was getting a little antsy with how calm things were. Though he knew she didn't want anything bad to happen in order to cause something to come up. "Perhaps something will turn up to grab your interest." He said thoughtfully hoping to ease her mind a little bit. He understood though, he wanted more cubs to be running around so he could tell them tales or weave them stories of things that weren't true. It was fun though he hadn't really been able to do any of that as of late. "Would you care to show me around some?" He asked her hoping that would give them both something to do.

At least he understood. She turned her gaze to look out at the water and then returned her attention towards him. She could definitely show him around. Maybe even take him outside the pride to some of the locations she scouted. It would be fun, at least she'd be talking about something she knew a great deal of. Perhaps he could tell her a story while they walked. "I'd be honored to. Though you'll have to tell me a story afterwards." She said giving him a playful wink as she stood up.

At least he wasn't going to just waste the day looking at the reflections in the water. He was rather glad she had come up to him when she had. At her words he couldn't help but give her a warm chuckle. "It's a deal." He said standing up and stretching, he hadn't realized how long he'd been laying down for. "Would you like a bed time story?" He said giving her wink back. He knew it could get lonely every now and again and he liked a cuddle buddy just as much as the next lion.

She laughed at his words. "Let's see how you fair with my tour and then we can discuss that." She said with a sly smile. "Now come, follow me and keep up." This was going to be an interesting day for sure.

"Sounds like a plan to me." At least she hadn't said no. So to him that was a win already. He wondered if she'd actually take him up on the offer. He really just wanted someone to lay next to, if she wanted more than that, well, that was up to her. He wouldn't say no if she asked. He was a gentleman after all. Giving her a smile in return he gave one last look around and then turned as she motioned for him to come with her. With that he followed close beside her as she lead the way onward to whatever adventures awaited them.
