Turn away from yesterday. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Hands crackling underneath over without so much as breaking a sweat, Cain stood tall over the corpse of yet another angel bent on their will to cease his life. His face was rather expressionless, like he was unsatisfied. Guess that's how it is. Murder thousands upon thousands of people and they won't even give him the satisfaction of joy. It did feel like a pain to carry such a burden. If he didn't kill then his sanity would become unchecked. It hungers in his mind... Kill or suffer slowly.
He picked the corpse of the female he slew and carried her over to the lake where she was placed into moments later. Her feathers withered in the air, sticking to his face. "Such a pity." He uttered under his breath. Cain only observed the body now sinking underneath. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Mikayla followed the dark aura that she felt with her telepathic abilities which lead her towards the Garden of Eden. The closer she got, the aura of this being felt different to the others she had come across, as if he could also probe at her presence. She rounded the corner to find a man throwing a body into the river.
”I don't usually find dark beings in the Garden of Eden.” Her voice was soft but powerful. She was in her human form, yet it was obvious this man could see her for who she was. Mikayla always calculated encounters with dark beings, so being in her human form was a way to avoid a fight.

He did however give off a very dark aura that was filled with fear. He projected it her way while she so elegantly gave off her own scent. "It's a place I can escape to though this one behind me interrupted it." He turned her way as he spoke with arms now behind him. His stance was rather intimidating to some but unknown to the angelic female.
"So, what can I do for the likes of an angelic being?" He asked on rather small peaceful terms. He observed her from top to bottom while keeping a serious act of an expression on his face.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Tomorrow's in my eyes. OOC:

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ She felt her telepathic probe slightly hesitate when she felt his aura. It seems he had the same abilities as her. How interesting.. She approached the man after he had talked to her. His hands were behind his back and Mikayla didn't like taking chances, so she made sure to stay alert during their conversation.
”I can see you have no tolerance towards us.” Mikayla said, referring to her fellow fallen angel. She hadn't realized that he had an encounter with another angel. The fight must have been easy for him, because he appeared quite normal, and not rustled from an encounter. "It seems she didn't put up a tough fight." She sighed and stopped in front of the man, who was quite good looking for someone who had just slain one of her kin. Why are the bad guys always attractive?
"How rude of me not to introduce myself. I'm Mikayla. You are?" She deliberately left out the bit where she was an arch angel, just in case this man had a grudge against the right hands of the Father.

Turn away from yesterday. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Cain shook his head to her comment. He didn't have much of a vendetta towards Mikayla's species. Sure they were unlikable in his eyes but it was more for the opposite reasons. They hunted dark beings such as himself down. It made him angry just by thinking about it. "Angels such as her tend to fight first then ask questions later. She chose wrong." He had no reason to murder the woman. She came out of the bloom and took one look at his aura before realizing what he was. Unfortunately she predicted wrong and screwed up. He took note of her name with no awareness to what angel that belonged to. He hasn't met a lot of arch angels before besides Lucifer and Gabriel. He'd have to say though, this one did share such a stunning resemblance along with showing no fear for now.
"I've gone by many names. Father Of Murder is one of them but simply put, my name is Cain." He calmly spoke. He wasn't afraid of revealing his identity. His life was difficult to cease and so she phased in his mind no threat. Or so he thought. "So, now that you know me, are we going to fight or talk on good terms, Mikayla?" ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ His name rang a bell, but she didn't try to remember why. He must be dangerous if his name was familiar to her, which gave her another reason to remain at bay with the fighting. If a lesser angel were to be nothing but a children's fight to him, then he could be a small problem.
”Do slow down. I have no reason to fight you. I don't hunt down dark beings for fun, contrary to popular belief.” She snorted and walked past Cain towards the river he had dumped the other angel into. Mikayla examined the water but it seems as if her remains had returned to Father--a pure heart. Cain was out of her sight, although her aura could still feel the massive darkness expanding from his body.
"I'm curious. Why did you kill her?" She asked, still facing away from Cain.

Cain was relieved to know that some angels had some common sense. Still he couldn't blame the deceased angel for attacking him. He after all is the arch angel Lucifer's knight. That and being responsible for so many murders of both human and angel alike. Even demons have died by his hand. They may be his kind but if he thirsts for death then anyone will be a potential target.
Cain watched her carefully move to the side of him then towards the lake where the body had now been dispersed from. His head dropped only a little due to her curious question that peeked his ears. "She knew who I was. What I've done in the past." He responded with a timid tone. "Being the first fallen human and betraying god, tends to invoke vengeance from your species." He'll admit that some guilt was buried within his mind for his crimes but never can they be redeemed. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ He walked next to her, seemingly deep in thought. Cain's aura drew back a few inches, as his hesitant emotions had risen. His past must be incredibly painful. She thought, and within moments she had pin pointed why she had heard his name before. Her gaze moved from the soothing water towards the man standing next to her.
”So you're the fallen human.” Mikayla made no sign to move as not to startle Cain or to erupt the famous blood thirsting serial killer within him. All she did was retract her probing, as she felt no need to bother his aura telepathically, and sat down. Her silver sun dress shimmered in the afternoon light and everything in the Garden of Eden seemed to faintly chirp with peacefulness.
The first ever fallen human who betrayed the Father. Yet he had come to a place wherein he likes to recollect his thoughts. He was corrupted, but banished without a warning. It's such a pity. Mikayla never understood why the Lord preaches of compassion and forgiveness, yet fails to show this himself. She wished heaven didn't have to be this way, but she could never go against the words of the Father.
”I was never one for revenge.” She whispered quietly, hoping he had heard her. This topic was quite the battle for her and if anyone were to hear it, it should be someone she barely knew as it probably won't ever be found. ”Some of His ways are not tolerable to me, but I was created to carry out his wish.” She sighed and grabbed her long, silver hair, pulling it over her shoulder to touch. "It is truly a test of pureness gone absolutely mad."

Turn away from yesterday. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Cain knew only to himself that it wouldn't take long for this angelic being named Mikayla, to realize who he was. His name has been spread across both heaven and hell countless of times. The rumors of what he did, everything been said over and over. He just gets tired of hearing it. Yes he was the first to murder a living being but why be reminded of it? It was tragic honestly. "Yes, that's me." He nodded as he reminisced all about it. He couldn't blame this angel for being careful around him. Being provoked into fighting, tends to drawn all the sanity out of him. He was thankful rather that she actually spoke to him like he was a person and not some uncontrollable demon.
He indeed did hear her say the word he recited earlier. It was a little unbelievable but he'll take her word for it. "Good." Shortly after he started to feel some disagreement to those explanations. Not the last bit but the first. Someone who created another then betrays them due to one mistake deserves no loyalty. "Creation is an illusion if the person who made you, has no sympathy for his children." He illustrated. Cain's hands started to fidget momentarily before ceasing action once more. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ It seemed as though Cain trusted her word, as Mikayla opened up about her feelings towards the "mercy" of God. Not all angelic beings could be trusted, Arch angels in particular, as they weren't very favoured among the world.
His words twirled in her mind, circling her guilt. She was sired to the Father, every command--she obeyed, no matter what the consequence. Speaking allowed of this matter could already be counted as a betrayal, especially if there were people around to hear her.
”I must serve him.” Her answer was pathetic, but it was the only thing she could come up with. She hadn't met any fallen angels as of late and she hadn't cared about their reasons for their banishment--until now.
Mikayla looked around the garden of Eden to see if anyone had come across their conversation, but all was quiet so she continued.
”I'm also scared of the consequences if I shall follow my own will.”

Cain found it easy to compare one person with them telling the truth or lie. By emotion or simply them looking at him. Her tone gave it all and so he listened and responded accordingly. He did pity her. Serving a god who she's probably never seen. Must be difficult to be born without a say. He got all his persona to express himself from merely being corrupted over time. Eventually that corruption freed him from being ruled over like a dog. Lucifer had no hold on him, just his loyalty. If Cain wanted to leave, he'll do so and no one could stop him. He interpreted his own life to the way she was explaining about hers. Opposites to be exact. One having no restrictions while the other having them. "I command a small legion of demons yet they have a choice in the matter to listen to me. If they want to voice their opinion, I welcome it. We aren't held down by will." He leaned himself down to her level now, setting firmly on the soft grass. "Their always is consequences to every action you take. You've just got to deal with it and move on." He held his breath for a few to catch it then continued at a slow pace to his voice. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Cain's words were genuine, as he sat down next to her. She relished in the comfortability of his movements as well as hers. If a human walked by, they could have mistaken them for another pair of ordinary beings. If only life were that simple.
”I command angels the same way you command your demons. I would never force them into doing my will. Their loyalty is what I want.” Talking of fellow angels reminded her of Alexandra and wondered if she made it back to heaven safely. Mikayla made sure to mentally note that she would go check up on her.
She took a peek at Cain and saw him gazing far into the distance. Everything about him from his chiseled jaw to his dark hair screamed human, yet his aura was nothing like a humans. It was as if a demon was encaged in a human body. I wonder how advanced his telepathic skills are..
Still looking at him, she tapped into her telepathic abilities and tried to tug at his mind with hers, only a light tug, as to not seem like she were challenging him. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

He shared the desire to gain respect from others and his demons as well. They wouldn't serve him if he were a different commander. "That is what I look to see in many of the demons who share a voice with me. Even angels such as yourself are admirable when wanting to be." That was a compliment and thus he hoped she'd take it generously otherwise he'll retract it. He kept his eyes focused in front of him for a few before the fuzzy feeling of his mind, started to tickle. The sensation started to overflow before realizing he was being picked at by Mikayla's grace. "Careful Mikayla, you won't like seeing what is buried in my mind if you continue to prod at it." This was fair warning. Anyone who tries to see into his past, will either be scarred for life or scared of him. Who's to say that this 'ordinary' angel won't but he'd rather not inflict such psychological pain on someone such as herself. He was enjoying her company. ┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ His voice changed from the genuinely enjoyable person she had heard sitting next to her a few minutes ago. He picked up on her probing in a matter of seconds--impressive. She took note of his ability. A telepathic battle between them would either let one live or fry both of their minds completely.
”I do not pry, Cain. I was only testing if you could sense me.” Although, she was indeed curious about his past and how he even got to this point in his life, but her respect for him was beyond that of nosiness. She quite liked his presence and if the world were to be different, they might have been friends.
Mikayla collapsed lightly to the ground, looking up at the sky. She was surprised by how easy it was for her to let loose. Cain is basically a stranger to her, yet the calmness between them gave her security to act like her playful self that was hiding under her arch angel armour.
”The Garden of Eden brings out a person's true personality. I get rather playful in here, apologies.” She giggled softly while continuing to look at the sky.
