Aokigahara knew that what he was doing was foolish. He could feel an aura stronger than his - not by much, but still stronger, and so going at whoever this was alone was foolish and dangerous.
He probably shouldn't have been preparing for a fight, because there was always a chance that this particular agent would somehow be harmless or otherwise not actively a danger to him, but given everything Aokigahara had seen of the Negaverse so far, that seemed deeply unlikely.
He approached the Corrupt aura slowly, cautiously, praying quietly that he wouldn't end up stumbling across a murder or something like that.

Eris was out tonight just to see what happened. Certain events have stirred up so much unrest in the city between all factions, including civilians. It meant for interesting nights, honestly. She hadn't really been entertained, but she wasn't as bored as she had been.
She was stood on top of a building on the outskirts of downtown and watching traffic, basically. There were Order energies out tonight, she felt them, even tracked a couple.
One particular was weaker than her, but being ballsy. It was heading in her direction. This felt like a knight, but she couldn't be too sure yet. Her youma eye turned to a thin black slit in a sea of red, as if it were trying to peer through the darkness. Time to just see what happened. Eris made no move other than to adjust her weight to prepare for company.
Aokigahara made a quick jump between rooftops, landing where he was fairly certain the aura he'd been tracking was -- and, yes, there was the Corrupt, with the ridiculously long hair that marked the faction.
He stood what he suspected was a safe distance from her, arms crossed and the strings of his lantern held tightly between his fingers. If this came to a fight, he would have to make it quick, hopefully incapacitate her before magic could come into play.
"Up to no good?" He asked, dryly. "Or just sightseeing?"

And there the energy was. She paused at the boyish Knight before her and she tilted her head to one side, eyes sparkling more. Her lips curled up in a small little smile and a giggle bust from her throat before she pushed her bangs to the side.
"A bit of both. Not that you could do anything about it."
She grimaced at the whispering going on in her head again. The heel of her hand went to her temple on the left side and she just growled a bit. Her right hand fisted hard at her side. "Shut up," she hissed out, hand going to grind against that red eye for a moment.
"You think I couldn't" Aokigahara said mildly. He was used to being underestimated, that was fine - useful, even. If she saw him as no threat, well. That was her mistake.
Still, her dual-colored gaze was unsettling, and there was something even moreso about the way she was behaving. She seemed alarmingly unstable, and he almost unconsciously took a step back to further the distance between them.
"Perhaps something else is wrong with your eye," he said, glancing around for a weapon. He knew his lantern would be all but useless, and she was stronger than him.

Eris rubbed at her eye again as he took a step back. Then he just had to go there with her eye. The Corrupt senshi growled and let the rage take over her. She charged at Aokigahara, fist in the air. She was going to fake a punch to the face, and really kick him in the side. Hopefully that send him flying away and she could get her magic in use later.
Aoki was, frankly, rather unprepared for her to actually attack him. That was stupid - she was clearly unstable and he should have been prepared for anything. Still, he caught up quickly, and brought an arm up to block the punch to his face, though the kick to his side sent him stumbling back and away. This wasn't the worst opponent he'd ever faced, but he could tell it was going to be difficult. He swung out a kick of his own, aiming for her center mass, with some hope of hitting her in the solar plexus.
No need for talk, just for fighting.

She'd expected more distance. The hit to her solar plexus left her in a world of pain and with no air in her lungs. She gasped and clutched at her chest as she stumbled backwards. The rage filling Eris's red eye was unmatched by the darker.
"So you do have some fight," she spat out at him. She took a few steps back and prepared her magic.
"Harmonic Discord Strike!"
Sailor Eris can strike an opponent from afar to cause discord in their mind. Most often this'll enrage the enemy and cause them to be unable to differentiate between ally and opponent, subsequently going berserk on the nearest person/youma/park bench/anything. Strength and duration varies along the victim's willpower; the stronger the mind, the shorter the duration and the weaker the effect is - and the weaker the mind, the longer the duration and stronger effect. 30 seconds maximum duration. This can be used on up to two targets now.
Magic, Aokigahara was learning, was extremely unpredictable and something of a pain. Cassiopeia's had been fascinating, but...
As soon as hers struck him, rational thought went out the window. There was nothing to do but fight, and the closest thing he could fight was her. So, completely without thought, he threw himself forward bodily, with no thought besides to do violence. To beat her into the dirt.

He could try it. She wanted him to charge mindlessly. It made fighting all the easier. As he charged, she ducked down to sweep her leg out to the side. Her magic worked to her advantage in a lot of ways. This being one of them. As he crashed to the ground, Eris jumped up and aimed her heel for the middle of her spine. She wouldn't break his back, she wasn't aiming to.
No, she just wanted to knock the wind out of him and then crush his face to the ground. Hopefully he didn't roll. She'd end up with a really hurt leg if she missed.
Aoki went down, breath driven from his lungs with the force of her blow. It wasn't quite enough to completely dispel the angry haze her magic had put him in, but it did shake him, clearing his head somewhat. It also hurt, badly, and he took just a little too long to recover and begin pulling himself back together, because by the time he was ready to move her boot was impacting his back, leaving him breathless once again.
He reached back, slightly desperately, to try and get a hold on her ankle, hoping to pull her down too - all he was thinking of right then was an escape plan. He had to get away, because otherwise it would be all too easy for her to end him right there.

Her ankle was grabbed but his grip was weak. She let out a startled yelp and kicked his hand away before jumping back. He still wanted to go? Eris's eyes narrowed one more time as she kept backing away.
"Let's call this my win, little Knight," she cooed at him. "Next time I see you.. I'm not going to be so lenient." She blew him a kiss and jumped away first into the darkness. Her head was starting to kill her and the feelings that were boiling inside of her. Not to mention the whisperings telling her to end his life.. That's not what she wanted to listen to.
So Eris fled first. One more victory under her belt.
