P e t s: H o b b i e s W a t c h i n g M o v i e s : Jenni hasn't met a movie she didn't at least enjoy a little. It's her absolute favorite thing to do. She will just relax on the couch any chance she gets with whatever is on her stolen cable. Black and white, silent movies, she'll sit through it all and just let herself go boneless.
D a n c i n g : When she goes out, Jenni dances like there's no one else in the room. She doesn't care how she looks, she enjoys a good beat and loses herself for just a little while. She doesn't even have to be dancing by herself. Jenni will say yes to just about anyone she asks.
V i r t u e s R e s o u r c e f u l : Bill to pay? Shoes to buy? She finds a way. She always finds a way to barely scrape by. Her family never goes hungry, there's always food for everyone. Sometimes she steals, sometimes she flirts her way onto free things. She does whatever she has to do to make sure everyone is fed and happy.
L e v e l H e a d e d : She's not quick to anger. She takes everything with a grain of salt and with lots of patience. There's no reason for her to get angry at her situation. If her siblings come to her with whines about their day, she'll listen and offer advice. If the school calls her dad because of a fight, she shows up to sort things right. She's mainly dealing with little kids, so she had to teach herself to take it in stride.
M o t h e r l y : Before Leann was even born (her daughter), Jennifer was extremely motherly. Since she was little and her first sibling was born. She took care of him when both of her parents were too drunk to, which was basically all the time. She thinks of her siblings as her children, and will actually say she they are hers and no one else's.
S h a r p : Sharp tongue, eyes, and mind, Jenni doesn't miss much around her house. She can cut you down with her words. It's how she raised the kids, with sharp words instead of actions like spanking. Sharp minded enough to be able to help her kids with their homework and learn more for them at the same time since she never finished high school.
F l a w s P r i d e f u l : Jenni will never apologize for her family or the way she was brought up. It's all she knows. Even her friends grew up like her. She prides herself on keeping everyone fed and clean, and warm. The girl can't except big gifts like someone paying for her groceries or trying to give her money when she hasn't done any work. Charity is something she hates.
S a r c a s t i c : With her sharp tongue comes biting sarcasm that has hurt people. She takes it a step too far more often than not. She jabs and jabs and someone usually has to blow up at her before she realizes what she's done.
R e a l i s t : There is no 'what if's with her. She looks at the big picture as well as the fine details. She always thinks of the worst case scenarios and thinks the worst of people so she won't be disappointed. No sense in building up expectations in anyone.
U n t r u s t i n g : Jenni doesn't expect much of anyone and doesn't let people get to close. It's hard to prove yourself to her. She has a certain life style and it makes it really hard to open herself up to anyone outside of her neighbors and really close friends. Sure, she'll make friends, but she'll keep them at an arms length with vague answers.

O t h e r N o t e s: Jenni lives well below the poverty line. She works works as a maid 3 nights a week and as a tutor on and off. She lives with five siblings, the youngest of which is 7 and her own daughter who is 8 months old.
Drew is Jenni's dad. He does get disability for a work related accident. He also collects food stamps. Every now and then he'll sober up and pay bills, watch the kids. It can last about two months before he goes out on a week long bender and comes stumbling home again.
They get no support from her mother.
The eldest two, a pair of twins by Jackie and Jake, are sixteen and they have jobs down. Jackie works part time after school at a roller rink and Jake is working as a cook in a Waffle House after school and on weekends. During the winter, when the roller rink is closed, Jackie picks up a paper route and uses her bike.
Camille babysits (at age 14) and throws in the money from that. She also walks dogs when the weather's good in the spring and summer.
The second youngest is Abby. She's 10 years old and helps around the house with watching the baby.
Abbot is the youngest at 7 years old and he focuses on school.
